Hotel de La Ville in Civitavecchia

We stayed here for one night before leaving on a cruise. Most impressed with the reception team who were very helpful indeed. Ideally placed by the seafront and the railway station where the cruise ship shuttle departs every 30 minutes for just 6 euros per person. A very good buffet breakfast is offered which was very enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again.

Friendly and attentive staff. Clean and comfortable. Free parking with video surveillance. Perfect for an overnight stay before landing at the port. The prices are fully consistent with the services offered.

A good place to go if you are planning to go on a cruise, very central, close to the train station and accessible to many parts of the city.

Last November and December, I spent twelve days at the Hotel Delaville in Civitavecchia and felt very well. I have a physical disability and am mostly independent, but sometimes I need a little assistance. The hotel staff always provided it with diligence, kindness, and compassion. When I asked to be upgraded to a room more suitable for my disability and with slightly different features than the standard accessible rooms, I was quickly satisfied with a very beautiful and spacious room. The setting is also beautiful: a few minutes' walk leads to the seafront promenade, which stretches for several kilometers and is very interesting. I definitely recommend this hotel!

Great Hotel right next to the train station and near the Cruise lines. Room was nice and quiet. The breakfast was very good and the dining area was beautiful. Great value

The room was spotless and everything ran smoothly, the staff were genuinely friendly, and the restaurant served up some tasty dishes—plus we had a gorgeous sea view that made the stay feel like a mini‑vacation. All in all, a solid choice if you’re looking for clean, comfortable, and welcoming hospitality. 🌊👍

This is a tourist hotel and there are a lot of people staying here that go on the cruises out of the port. They don't appear to be any large change hotels in Civitavecchia.

The bus terminal is just next door if you wish to come or go by bus. The cruise terminal is too far to walk to especially over cobblestone streets etc. The hotel can arrange transport to the cruise terminal directly to your cruise ship so you don't have to use a shuttle bus at the terminal - 15 Euros each.

Check in time is 3:00 p.m. they will store your luggage for you.

Not much shopping around beyond tourist souvenirs made in China. There are lots of restaurants to choose from nearby. Quality of these restaurants varies a lot. We really didn't find anywhere with very good food. On Sunday many things are closed except for the tourist spots.

This is a old hotel that has had updates. So things are somewhat worn. TV channels all in Italian and other foreign languages. Comfy bed. A/C, mini bar, room safe etc.

Close to the ships and sea. The breakfast is phenomenal! Full European buffet. Mortadella and home made rolls!! Wonderful!! Close to seaside dining with patios( make reservations!)

The location is convenient and you can see the sea in front. Although the hotel is old, it can be seen that it has been renovated. The room is clean and comfortable. The elevator takes a long time to wait, but there is a bus at the door to the cruise terminal, which is very convenient.

The location is great. Lots of restaurants nearby. And the hotel can arrange transfer to the cruise terminal 15euro per pax. The staff is super friendly.
