Great Hotel right next to the train station and near the Cruise lines. Room was nice and quiet. The breakfast was very good and the dining area was beautiful. Great value

We stayed here for one night before leaving on a cruise. Most impressed with the reception team who were very helpful indeed. Ideally placed by the seafront and the railway station where the cruise ship shuttle departs every 30 minutes for just 6 euros per person. A very good buffet breakfast is offered which was very enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a tourist hotel and there are a lot of people staying here that go on the cruises out of the port. They don't appear to be any large change hotels in Civitavecchia. The bus terminal is just next door if you wish to come or go by bus. The cruise terminal is too far to walk to especially over cobblestone streets etc. The hotel can arrange transport to the cruise terminal directly to your cruise...

Close to the ships and sea. The breakfast is phenomenal! Full European buffet. Mortadella and home made rolls!! Wonderful!! Close to seaside dining with patios( make reservations!) Reserve your shuttle to the cruise ship. Great stay!

The location is convenient and you can see the sea in front. Although the hotel is old, it can be seen that it has been renovated. The room is clean and comfortable. The elevator takes a long time to wait, but there is a bus at the door to the cruise terminal, which is very convenient.

Overall experience is good. The convenience distance from the train station. The staff at checking were generally helpful. The breakfast was a continental type and had an abundance of food, including fruits, too..

It listed a gym, there is no gym, listed a pool , it did have one with no water in it, second pool was roped off with green water and cats using its a a drinking fountain, location is kind of far from the train station and very far from the port, room was clean, only half a shower door, they did have toilet paper, coffee was good , complemetary breakfast was so so

Bahia del sole was under renovation, they accommodated us at the sister property Mercure Hotel. That was a bit more updated. We had a great balcony view that overlooked the docks. Beautiful property, friendly staff as well. Very convenient. Taxi from port to hotel was reasonable.

It was a basic room with no real amenities- except breakfast - which was fine for what we needed. It was strange to not have a lobby with a staff member in it. But it was clean and comfortable.

Well, the decor in the place was very dated, like going to Spain back in the 80's. The staff were very polite and friendly and helped where they could. Do not take the shuttle service from fco to the hotel even if the price is less than other provider. I was charged 70 euro extra to change from a single to double, despite the cost of a double found much cheaper online. The room that was given was actually a disabled persons room and not as described originally. The hygiene was poor. The room and shower was dirty and not to an acceptable standard.

Borgo del Mare is an older hotel, but the staff was excellent. The hotel does have charm, but the bathroom was very old, and the amenities were few. For example, the shower needs to be updated desperately. The location is about 2 miles from the seaport and there was limited access to restaurants and shops.

This hotel is a hidden gem! Highly recommended. Rooms are renovated, excellent showers comfortable beds, a stocked fridge! Great value for the price! One of the best over nights hotels i have ever been , friendly front desk ( Anna ) , we got a shuttle from the airport by the hotel and the driver was so friendly and helpful , clean place, quiet , new furniture, clean bathroom with (shataaf) , definitely i will come back again .

Clean rooms and bathrooms. Too bad you can't have breakfast on site and the first decent bar is a long way away. The location is excellent if you want to be isolated from the town or if you want to use it as a base and then take the ferry or otherwise, to rest away from distractions.

Hotel OK but in the middle of nowhere Restaurant menu only in Italian so was difficult to order. Expensive to get a taxi into town. Rooms old fashioned but comfy. Had to change rooms on arrival as had asked for a view and were not given one first time round

The staff at this hotel were kind, generous & helpful. The food at the restaurant was delicious & the grounds were beautiful. Our room was really nice. Be sure not to drink the tap water. Get a bottle of water instead. If we are able to, we will come back to this hotel. There is also a friendly fox on site.

Fantastic owners. They waited till 1 am for us to arrive after our ferry from Barcelona arrived 4 hours late. We arrived to a warm welcome and a spotlessly clean house with a comfortable bed and decent shower. We can not thank them enough for their patience and will definitely be staying with them again on our next visit to Civitavecchia as long as they have a room for us.

2nd time staying at this great property. It’s old has so much character in all the rooms and the public area. While the staff are not present they are Accessible, and they explain all you need to know on check in. They are accommodating to leave luggage while waiting to board a cruise

Well- I am writing my review as I sit on the bed in the B&B right now. We booked 2 nights here before our cruise. We booked based on location - near to port and shops/restaurants. Stayed there with 5 other adults, in two rooms with 2 bathrooms. I would have given it 5 stars but obviously not a 5 star hotel, but it was perfect for our needs. Clean, well located, helpful staff. The owner, Leonardo, met us as we exited the cab, he carried our luggage! the bath was across the hall, but we were the only ones allowed to use it, so it was private. when we opened the curtain, we found a charming private garden, with chaise lounge chairs under an umbrella, and apple and orange trees looking gorgeous.

This would be an amazing place for 2 couples to stay as you would have the entire property to yourselves. The location is perfect for dining and visiting the beach and local attractions. The train station is located nearby and the property has free parking. We would highly recommend this property to anyone.

We stay for 1 night waiting to take the cruise and Simona (owner) is the best!! She is so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was ready at the time we told her and was so delicious! I recommend her 100%.

The B&B was SPECTACULAR! The host was extremely accommodating and helpful. The entire house was spotless and breakfast was delicious. The location is. Centrally located to the train station and cruise port. The balcony has an incredible view of the water. Would highly recommend!
