Stayed one night due to the location. However, booked a room with two beds and instead received a pullout bed instead. Bathroom had mold and cracked ceilings. Overall dated and musty smell, though clean.

The staff were indifferent, but worse is that I left my expensive headphone in the room and there has been no response to my attempts to reach them. Overall not worth the cost and definitely not a 4 star experience. Closer to a 1 or 2 star.

If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible service, hotel is incredibly aged. There are far better options elsewhere. To top it all off, they withheld 400euros from me after a booking mix up (where I cancelled a duplicate room booking within 5minutes of making the booking and 4 months before arrival). Absolutely disgraceful management. I cannot stress how much I recommend avoiding this place.

Horrendous overall. Started with rude hotel concierge. So indifferent, unhelpful, and condescending. That should be enough to stay away. Hotel staff should be absolutely ashamed. Especially those at the front desk. Isn't part of your job to help people? Can't even ask for basic directions.

So much construction happening outside. Thin walls, I could hear people talking late into the night, even with earplugs. Parking is the worst I've ever experienced. 40 euro per night and the garage is difficult to navigate. So much added stress.

Save your hard earned money and go elsewhere. There are so many other options.

Great location, but the rest was a letdown.

The hotel is right in the heart of the city, which is super convenient. But beyond that, the experience was disappointing. We stayed one night, and honestly, that was enough.

The room felt worn out and dusty, despite being “cleaned.” Air conditioning is centrally controlled, so during a heatwave, the room stayed hot all night—sleep was impossible.

Parking was €40, and it actually dripped rust onto our white car, ruining the paint. We spent ages trying to park with a staff member directing us from one spot to another, only to be told later that we had to move it again.

Staff weren’t helpful at all—quite dismissive. They told us the lift wasn’t working, but it clearly was.

Breakfast was below average: stale croissants, questionable sausages, and overall nothing fresh or appealing.

Wouldn’t recommend and definitely won’t return.

Horrible parking system. Already 40 euros to park but getting inside the parking lot is just impossible. We couldn’t get inside until a staff came to us and opened the gates for us. Even after getting in, the parking lot was terrible in quality and cars were blocking us from parking. After we finished parking, I realized that the hotel itself was just as bad. Although the hotel tried to prove itself as a 4 star hotel with fancy and intricate decorations, the base of the hotel was very old. When we called the staff about the problems we had in the hotel, they simply hung up. Would avoid at all costs.

If you are traveling to this place from Korea, never stay at this hotel. I made a reservation for 4 nights and 5 days and when I arrived, the room smelled moldy and there were clear marks of mold scraped off the walls. I was on the first floor and the noise from the construction site right outside the window was right there. The hotel room and hallways had an unpleasant smell similar to curry and the staff at the counter were foreign nationals and were not friendly. In addition to the hotel fee, I had to pay more than 100 euros in local tax, and on top of that, they asked me to pay 40 euros per night for 1 car and 320 euros for 4 nights for 2 cars. They kindly told me that if I didn't want to pay the parking fee, I could just park on the street? But this area is on a mountain slope and the roads are narrow so there is no place to park and the fine for illegal parking is even bigger. This is just a tactic that takes advantage of the urgent situation of a guest who has already arrived. Moreover, the underground parking lot was so wet that I had to worry about putting my luggage down, and I had to drag my luggage up the stairs and drag it again. They were asking for 40 euros per night for parking in this kind of parking lot. When I complained to the counter, they said they would change my room, but the other rooms were the same. So I couldn't stand it anymore and asked to cancel my reservation, but they refused, saying that the free cancellation period had passed and that I couldn't cancel. I only found out about this when I got there, but they were using the free cancellation period as an excuse. They said that the parking fee and local tax were also written in the online contract, but it's also disgusting that they hid a unilateral fee in a corner of the small contract and tried to avoid it with that. In the end, after an emergency discussion with the five of us, we decided that we couldn't help this unethical hotel's unfair business practices, so we all withdrew and moved to another hotel. A much better hotel at a similar price. Anyway, if you ever visit Cortina d'Ampezzo, never go to that Alaska Hotel. I plan to file a complaint with Trip.com for recommending this hotel. Hotels like this should be removed from Trip.com or *********** sites. Please note.

The location is absolutely perfect. Mountains and scenery all around and it's in the middle of town. The hotel is fairly tidy and clean. For some reason they had air con but they had it turned off so the room was absolutely boiling. I challenged them on this and they fobbed me off. I assume they dont turn it on until Peak Season. We didnt sleep well as a result waking up on hot sweats. The breakfast was average and the coffee was cold. The reception staff were quite friendly but were very slow at dealing with anything. 1 of the lifts didnt work which when carrying heavy luggage and staying on the 6th floor in a busy hotel was a problem. It was expensive for a bad hotel but location was amazing so thats what paying for!

Checked in at around 4pm. The service was relatively slow and we were required to write down our credit card details on a piece of paper which is uncommon for newer hotels. The card I was issued had issue and I had to circle back and forth to the reception which wasn’t the best experience.

The view from the room was amazing and I was very satisfied.

Staying here at the Alaska fine, we had a large room with a separate room with a double bed Ok the Barth room and furniture in the room look old and outdated. But all very clean and comfortable. If you take a car here they charge you 20euro a day to park in their underground. Cheaper to park up by the cable car only 7.50 euro a day and a two min walk back to the hotel. Breakfast all good staff all helpful I would come here again.
