Cortina d'Ampezzo, Via Roma 62 🧭 Map
How a fortnight can be so quick I don't know. To wake up in the morning and look out the window to the staggering beauty in this area is just one part of the overall experience at Grand Hotel Savoia, likewise sitting at #1224 Terrace Bar for a drink or dinner. Superb and unique. Don't get me started on the amazing and extensive breakfast buffet. While Dora and Team ensured my room was not just clean...
My stay at Grand Hotel Savoia Cortina d’Ampezzo, A Radisson Collection Hotel, was truly wonderful. The staff were very friendly, and both the room and the suite were amazing – everything was clean and the services were excellent. I booked a suite and a room, and everything in the hotel was beautiful, from the smallest details to the largest. The restaurant was also delicious, especially the sardines...
I couldn’t imagine a better place to stay while in Cortina. It’s the staff that are top notch. Ciro the concierge was absolutely fantastic in helping us plan our ski days. And then he would go above and beyond to plan evenings and dinners. The facilities were amazing. The room was lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was superb. Looking forward to returning many times.
Terrific historic property with amenities such as ski room spa and restaurants. Staff was terrific and helpful.
A preference of ours when skiing is to be super close to the lifts and the location of the Grand Hotel Savoia is not ideal from that perspective as it is a long walk or car journey to the nearest lifts. Putting that aside- this is an amazing hotel, made so by each and every member of staff who go out of their way to make sure you have an exceptional holiday. They really could not have done more for...
We stayed here for 3 nights. The service was amazing. The front deck, concierge, valet and ski valet were awesome. The rooms were updated, although we couldn’t figure out how to turn off the heat so had to sleep with the windows open. Really enjoyed the spa. Had cocktails and coffee at the lounge many times. I’d return for sure.

Grand ol' 5-star hotel, you will like it if you are into grand ol' five-star hotels, but it needs extensive interior renovation.
Looked great in its day very tired looking now but think it is being refurbished at the moment
Beautiful hotel, one of the best views in cortina, and also a historic James Bond location.
Great hotel with beautiful views. Very kind and helpful staff. Both reception and restaurant 5*. We spent there our anniversary in December and the whole stay couldn't go better. Many thanks to our waiter who entertained us every evening 😊
A charming stylish old place. For sure needs renovation though has very nice spirit. Excellent service and atmosphere. Good if you would like to touch the history and aristocracy..
Grand ol' 5-star hotel, you will like it if you are into grad ol' five stars, but it needs a bit of a face lift in my opinion

Cosy, luxury stay with fantastic friendly service and a great spa/sauna area. Free and fast shuttle service to Cortina and free E-Car charging. Not the cheapest place to stay but well worth the money, considering the service level and the super comfy beds (not the norm in most other places we stayed in Italy). Only small niggle was the quiet small and dark room without air-con. But with a fan supplied...
An exceptional hotel! Staff all around is amazing from the desk to the concierge to the shuttle driver. First floor suite was comfortable and elegant. My partner and I were sad to leave and could have easily stayed another week. Cortina is a gem and the Rosaoetra is something you cannot miss. Thank you to the staff for being so accommodating and welcoming.
The staff was so friendly. The shuttle downtown was great. Food and spa facilities were excellent. The only thing I would say is the window is too small to really benefit from just the Mountain air cooling the room. It was ok with a fan however, I think investing in a wall unit would go a long way.
Had a massage here for 1 hourProfessional staff and great atmosphere 👍🏼
Resort Rosapetra ***** stars. Thank you for giving us 5 stars! This is very helpful and appreciated! We look forward to welcoming you again in the near future. I thank MAITRE; Congratulations for your confidentiality, accessibility and professionalism. See you soon.. Consiliato!!!
Nice small hotel, interesting rooms with a lot of wood, rustical feeling, not real 5* hotel in my opinion, restaurant OK, food decent but nothing special, SPA is OK, staff very friendly and very professional, garage for parking available, too expensive and not value for money for sure

Beautiful outlook from the room over the mountains, located an easy 10. minute walk from the main town which made parking super easy on the property. A shuttle will take you to and from town as needed as well.
A breath-taking stay across from the Dolomites, this luxury hotel lives up to its name. Antonio and Frederico made our stay with their excellent service. Every staff member has a peppy and jovial attitude. I will definitely stay again, but only if the piano player keeps writing his own music.
Cristallo hotel has amazing views and staff. The rooms are amazing for families!
Great Team!! Very friendly staff!! Beautiful place!!! Great piano player!!!
I loved it!!!

From the moment I arrived at Hotel Faloria Mountain Spa Resort, I knew I was in for something special. My room was simply perfect—spacious, with a huge bathroom, a wonderfully comfortable bed, and best of all, a breathtaking view over Monte Cristallo and the surrounding Dolomitic peaks. Waking up to that view every morning felt like a dream. The restaurant deserves a special mention. The food was...
The hotel was overall ok but not worth the price and doesn’t feel like a 5 star hotel.
Breakfast was average- they asked for extra charge for some dishes that you’d think would be free in a 5 star hotel. The food and the variety did not meet our expectations.
Staff were just ok- we sometimes felt like we were nagging them by asking for help to plan our trips.
Rooms - didn’t meet our expectations.

We stayed here in a 2 bedroom suite.
The hotel is perfectly pleasant, pool and spa terrific. Nothing spectacular overall - breakfast below average.
It would have been a perfectly decent stay, however, the room was extremely hot in the night - to the extent that we couldn't sleep. We called reception at 2am asking for the AC to be turned on (as the room dial seemed not to do anything). The receptionist...
The hotel is not bad, but nothing more.
In Coritina, many hotels are old and very expensive for what they offer.
This hotel has a small room, everything is quite old, the location is normal, a little outside the city.
Breakfast is good, I liked it.
Overall, not bad, but not wow.
Came to the Dolomites for my 30th birthday( a big one) and stayed at this wonderful resort. The staff were soo wonderful with the details they provided knowing it was my birthday. We only stayed two nights and ended wishing we had stayed longer! The staff at breakfast are attentive- Massimo is kind and always on top of it. The buffet breakfast is yummy and the spa is quite nice. A great way to recover...
A lovely hotel in Cortina d'Ampezzo with really friendly & helpful staff. When choosing which hotel to stay at, we ended up with a shortlist of 3 hotels - however we chose Faloria as the swimming pool & spa area looked really nice....and it did not disappoint. Service is very kind. at the evening meal they just don't always understand you. Morning food could be better. You may not take your own food but it is done. Fantastic location, wonderful hospitality, great view. A lovely hotel to stay
Old rooms with hard mattresses and very noisy in the first floor. That was the bad part.
The staff is very nice and the location is perfect for skiing. Food is good and the area for games works perfectly when you have children.

Very nice location, just right in the heart of Cortina d'Ampezzo. We were staying in Misurina but if we would choice to stay in Cortina d'Ampezzo, that would be a place to stay.
There is no better place for magic hour apertivos than the elevated outdoor terrace at the Ancora bar. Phenomenal hosts and bartender. The best spot to start your evening in Cortina, and we will definitely return
A very old stylish charming hotel. Has some history. Facilities are in a old fashion. Staff are friendly and very presentable. Breakfast is good. We stay in a suite with two bathrooms and one of the bath comes with spa function. Enjoy it so much! The room view is nice with Mountain View. Very central location.
Very dated hotel with very dated rooms, uncomfortable bed. Charming lobby and centrally located. A note - wifi almost non-existent in areas other than the hotel lobby.
Great food, wonderful staff, Great views of the mountains and the church and in the middle of Cortina.
Old world charm. The place is nice but could use some updating. The meals are very unimaginative and the same offerings every night. Dessert choices are more exciting than dinner.

Too bad we couldn't find a place
Strategic position in the center of Cortina for those who love to walk in the evening or during the day. Car park protected by bars, the hotel has a buffet breakfast room as well as lunch and dinner. Very friendly and helpful staff

We stayed here for 5 days while skiing in Cortina. The location is absolutely brilliant, right in the centre of Cortina. The bus stop that takes you to the slopes (approx 6/7 mins) is 50 yards away and is right beside the Main Street which has all restaurants / shops. The breakfast was lovely and perfect for a day of skiing and the staff were so helpful and very nice throughout our stay!
Nice hotel, for a fair price. The rooms are really clean, and the breakfast is good.
Nice place to stay in cortina. Rooms are good, not amazing. And the breakfast is good.
All the staff is very nice. In very nice location
We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Massimilliano was awesome with all his restaurant recommendations- spot on. He also picked me up from Venice airport. Nice breakfast, rooms and staff. The location is almost unbeatable!
We had a lovely stay at Royal Hotel! Parking wasn’t as crazy as we thought it would be although it is 15 euros a night. The room was beautifully renovated with wood details and soft sheets. The hotel is newly renovated with a modern and cozy design, which made it a comfortable place to relax after exploring the nearby areas, especially Misurina and Tre Cime. Great location, rooms are large, comfortable, showers ok, bed fair, no ac at all, no windows that give adequate vent, so if you don't want a hot stuffy room, visit in Oct-March and it's nearly 5 stars. Otherwise, you'll die. You'll just... Die.
May 2025, the entire town is under construction for the Olympics, so driving, parking, and even walking are a pain. Prob great when all that business is over
Great experience - clean, reasonable prices and good service! We enjoyed our stay here :)
Excellent location and a good value. Room itself was newly renovated and quite nice. The main downsides were the tiny bathroom and poor ventilation (no thermostat i could find and no obvious heat or AC source). Good ski room with racks that are skikey compatible. Right in the middle of the main commercial area so it is very easy to walk anywhere.
