Reviews
We absolutely loved our stay at Rosapetra Spa Resort — it was the perfect blend of comfort, scenery, and relaxation. The location is ideal, just a few minutes from Cortina, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private with incredible views of the Dolomites.
Our Premium Deluxe Room was spotless and beautifully designed, with a terrace overlooking the mountains. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or attentive — always ready with a smile and great local advice.
The spa was a highlight — modern, quiet, and exceptionally clean, with wonderful treatments and a serene atmosphere after a day exploring the mountain passes. Breakfast was generous and delicious, and dinner at the Vista Restaurant was exceptional, with top-quality ingredients and a great wine list.
We left feeling completely relaxed and already talking about returning. Rosapetra truly captures the beauty and spirit of the Dolomites — cozy, elegant, and unforgettable. Highly recommended
The restaurant was excellent and loved that breakfast was included. It's well kept and stocked with an additional menu where you can have made to order omelets, scrambled eggs, etc.
The spa facilities were also very impressive. Clean and lots of options with saunas, cold plunge, and a great pool.
If we go back to the Dolomites, we're definitely booking here again.
The valet was kind and helpful.
What’s great about this resort is that everything is included. The resort spa fee is included, bottled water whenever you need it.
They give you a welcome drink when you get there.
The level of service is on power with a five star resort. The food at the restaurant is top-notch served with excellent service.
Anything you want I’ll try to get for you.
The wine selection is absolutely amazing ranging from €60 to over €2000 .
Often the owner is seen at the restaurant talking with the patrons.
The rooms are small and so for that reason I gave them four stars. At over $800 a night I expected a little bit more in the room.
That being said, the bed was very comfortable and the temperature control was easy to manage. It has an en suite mini bar, which is not included in our stay. The upper level rooms do have included mini bar. But these rooms range up to $1600 a night.
Breakfast is included and includes a wide range of meats, cheese grains, pastries. There’s homemade orange juice which is delicious. There’s a limited menu where you can get omelette or scrambled eggs with bacon.
Overall, I would write this one of the best hotels in this region. But be prepared to spend some money at the restaurant!
The spa facilities are very beautiful. There is one sauna which is outside and has a epic view of the mountains. There is a cold shower inside by the pool. The pool is kept to body temperature and has hydrating massage jets .
We were unable to secure a massage here because they were fully booked, but it sounds like they are amazing
Definitely five stars .
Breakfast was very basic: just yogurts, cereals, and a few egg options. The best part of our stay was the staff—they were truly wonderful and went out of their way to help. Unfortunately, the hotel itself just doesn’t match their level of service. Federico was amazing!!! No matter how hard they tried, the property felt more like a basic 3-star hotel.
Sadly, I wouldn’t stay here again.
The service was really A+ — the concierge helped us plan hikes, and when he very helpfully suggested to start early (which made our experience far better), they also ensured that we had 2 breakfast boxes and coffee ready for us when we woke up since we left before breakfast.
Our room had a great view, balcony, and was exceptionally clean. The only downside was the lack of AC, and that the mattress was a bit firm. But an open window and fan really did the trick.
We made another stop in the dolomites at a separate five star hotel, and this really highlighted how amazing Rosapetra was — we kept comparing everything to Rosapetra and wishing we had extended our stay instead. The few days at Rosapetra were some of our favorite days in our lives between the hotel, Cortina d’Ampezzo, and the surrounding hikes.
Thanks for such a great experience!
The breakfast selection was small compared to the other hotel Alder Spa Resort we stayed nearby. The waitor, Nicolas was new but very absent minded. For two breakfasts we stay (one day we had a box breakfast) he managed to forgot, missed our breakfast and coffee orders. Just cannot imagine a hotel you pay USD500-600 per night can provide these poor service, especially a member of SLH!
Hope that you can avoid this hotel next time you are in Dolomites. Another hotel we stayed for one night and it was surprisingly good was Kinder Cycling hotel. Even though it is a little noisy but the facility, restaurant, and the building was tastefully designed. Food at this hotel was very good!
