Hotel Serena

I went there for 2 nights to visit the Dolomites.

Overall, I had a positive experience. The staff were very nice and helpful! I enjoyed the breakfast buffet as well.

The downside for me was the bathroom. My friend and I had a room on the 4th floor, and the bathtub (with shower) was located just under the slanting roof which was so low that we couldn't shower standing up! We had to crouch, or kneel to shower. The setting would have allowed for a bath, but not for a comfortable shower.

Overall, I would still consider staying in Hotel Serena Cortina again if I were to come back to Cortina d'Ampezzo!

accommodations and services provided. The view from the hotel was breathtaking, allowing me to enjoy stunning scenery throughout my stay. Additionally, the hotel's location was ideal and conveniently situated in a nice area with easy access to nearby attractions and shops. The staff
were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any needs or inquiries. Overall, 1 highly recommend this hotel and will definitely visit again.

My friends and I stayed at the Serena Hotel based on a recommendation, and it lived up to our expectations. The buffet breakfast was extensive, and the staff was very friendly and professional. The food was typical, delicious, and of high quality. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic stay which exceeded our expectations. We chose Serena as it was a bit cheaper than some of the other hotels in the area but still looked nice.

On arrival we were pleasantly surprised from the outset, arriving to plenty of parking opposite the attractive frontage. Check-in was a nice experience from a friendly member of staff, who was happy to check us in early.

After we got to our room, we heard a knock on the door and that same member of staff had brought us a complimentary bottle of prosecco and a happy anniversary card as we mentioned it was our anniversary stay - very sweet of her/the hotel.

The room was spacious, had a great view down the valley from the balcony and offered everything we needed. You could say that the bathroom is due a bit of a refresh and upgrade, but it was perfectly clean and usable and as you'd expect from an old mountain property - no qualms there but some might be fussy.

Breakfast was good every day, plenty of choice and was varied daily to keep things interesting.

Very happy with our stay as a base for hiking in the area - would return.

We stayed for 4 nights during the last week of September and early October & it was our first time in the Dolomites. It was walking distance to town and there is free parking in the hotel. It was in a good location where restaurants and shops are walking distance. We ate dinner in restaurants close by. At check in, the reception gave us a list of recommended restaurants. The staff were nice. The breakfast was filling and they offered a variety of food and drinks. The pastries were not so good. We had better ones in the hotel at Val Gardena. On our first night, there was a big bus and in the morning, the breakfast area was so full & chaotic. There was almost no table available. The coffee/espresso maker line was very long and they ran out of cups, etc. I felt sorry for the staff who looked overwhelmed. Thank goodness that the next 3 days were better since we were in a rush to go to the mountains. We had a standard room in the Annex with a good view of the mountains & a little patio with chairs. It was quiet at night. The room rate we got was reasonably priced for the area. I was a little chilly at night and the hotel staff told us that they don’t turn on the gas until winter. Overall, our stay was good.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this enchanting hotel in Cortina d'Ampezzo and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality.The location is a dream for any mountain enthusiast. Loved the traditional room with the spectacular view. The breakfast was an absolute pleasure. The location of the hotel was the best part as there is a private parking and you could walk to the center of the town. I will visit it again for sure!!

Had a very pleasant stay here. The rooms were nice and clean with an excellent view from the balcony. We would definitely return as the price is affordable for Cortina.

My one main gripe was that there was only one coffee machine at breakfast. There was always a long line and people were often very rude and tried to cut. This made our mornings far less pleasant as we like having coffee immediately in the morning.

I had a single room. If you compare it to a city hotel, the room might seem small but I’d say is similar to any other room in a mountain hotel. A bit old, but cozy and clean, and the space is enough for one person. The soundproofing is not the best, but again, this is a mountain hotel and is an understandable limitation that has not affected my opinion of the hotel.
Staff is helpful and attentive. The breakfast is good quantity and quality. It gets busy in the early morning, with all the hikers getting ready for the day, but they never fall short in food or coffee (of course!).
For Cortina standards, I’d say quality/price is excellent. I’d definitely come back

We have get everything what we asked for. Staff was very helpful. Dinner was best which we have tried in cortina and price was reasonable. Highly recommended

Amazing service the rooms aren't that impressive but overall it's cool.
