Nice hotel with in room bathrooms (rare in this area). Small bar area. Delicious breakfast for an extra charge, around €8, totally worth it. Mini fridge, coffee maker, shave kit, safe, & soap all in room. Steakhouse next door, 2 grocery stores, & a Burger King in walking distance. Downtown Ferrara is 10-15 minute drive.

Reasonable priced hotel with large rooms and good breakfast. Breakfast is plentiful (international). Quite ok hotel for short stay. The cleanliness throughout the hotel is commendable. The fitness area is very small and sparsely set up with very old gym equipment (needs desperately renovation). The staff is accommodating and very helpful.

Apart from stains on the rug, my room was clean. Good breakfast. Situated at a busy road not far from a noisy factory but ok with window closed. You're back on the motorway within a few minutes. 35-minute walk to the city centre. Significant negative aspect: disgracefully overpriced - don't know if those were the regular rates or due to the Bruce Springsteen concert which took place when I stayed there...

Great staff. Rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast in the am was very nice with scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. Pastry of various types were also available. Water and juices were always ready, as was the capuchino machine. If you forget a plug converter, they have them at the front desk for check out. There's a small deposit in cash for that, bit is returned upon checkout. Great steak...

Nice, clean, in line with other 4-star Best Western hotels. Good breakfast and a good amount of bikes available for free, making up for the position (about 3km from the centre)

Location is very good. While close to the historic city center ~5min also at a 15m walking diatance from the train station. Rooms are ergonomic in many aspects (light switches,sockets , storage spaces etc) but there are doors connecting them that dont soundproof well i.e. I could hear my neighbours TV. The reception was very kind and the room was perfect, altough both mine and my colleague's had the heating turned on (it was late april and there were 26° outside). We asked for it to be turned off and they complied. The hotel itself is close to the train station, a couple minutes by car and 10 by feet.

I come often for work to Ferrara, but I love to stay next to the Castello. During this pandemic I've been already twice here and the service is amazing. It's difficult for me to find places in Italy where I can get Gluten-free food (due to my allergy). Well located in the centre of the city with parking available (extra cost). The service by the staff was very good with a positive "can do" attitude. Breakfast selection was good. The room was very comfortable and very quiet. (We were in the annex).

The hotel manages rooms but also apartments. So you can decide the best way to stay in ferrara according to your finance needs. It is one of the closest hotel to the castle in a nice position. Suggested

Plus: location just infront of the castle. Helpful personnel. Clean room and comfy bed. Minus: don't pay for the spa. There's just a steam room, nothing else. Bath/shower very small and dangerous.

Hotel with a fair price with clean and comfy room. Don't expect any luxuries but it's a good place to rest specially if you are doing a road trip. On the bad side, the parking is really small and there are no assigned spots, so if you are late you will have to park on the adjacent mall (it has a huge parking and is less than 1 min away)

I have been staying in this hotel for some time now and I always get the best service. Paola which is a receptionist there, made my arrangements so easy for me and so quickly in a very reasonable prices. The room is very essential, but comfortable, clean and hot, sometime too hot. The breakfast acceptable for the cost of the structure, good quality even if limited choice of food. I will book again a room in the future.

Wonderful original little Italian inn, close to the centre. Great warm welcome from Antonio, clean, comfortable rooms with a single lift to floors. Lovely breakfast with great coffee in a smallish room on the ground floor. A far cry from the impersonal and characterless hotel chains. A memorable place to stay.

Staff was very nice, quick and helpful. Breakfast was a positive surprise, a lot of food choices and good coffee. Room was pretty big, had a good (and silent AC), TV with chromecast support. All in all, by far a better experience than the "4-Star" Mercure I've stayed the day afterwards, which had none of those things at a similar price.

Ottima! From start to finish, we had a great experience at Hotel de Prati. Our room was beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable with a large terrace for breakfast and relaxing. Very quiet location although steps from the castle, shops and market. Dog friendly and easy parking. Everyone was super friendly and breakfast was delicious! Highly recommend. Will be back!!

Stayed here a number of years ago on the recommendation of a good friend. One of the best stays I’ve ever had, the best I had of many in Italy. And a great value on top of all that!

We stay in this hotel every time we come to Ferrara. It is centrally located - just around the corner from the Castello. The rooms are comfortable and always clean. Breakfast is one of the best in Italy. The owners are very kind and accommodating. There’s an enoteca right next to the hotel, and multiple very good restaurants close by.

We got a room at the top floor and with that comes a balcony with beautifull view of the city center, it was lovely. I've stayed in the hotel a night, just a week ago. The location of the hotel is perfect. You are in the old town and there are some nice places to visit around. The suite was not at the level of the suite I have expected but I recommend the hotel and Ferrara. The main square and the castle are just there under your nose. Hotel is okay, it‘s clean and the employees are friendly. It’s very central, nice location. Price is too high if you book from another country. You can get the best price, if you book direct in italy over google or similar.

Great location, helpful staff, god breakfast (though slightly on the sweet side). The room was large. Had a room with a view of the Castle. Windows at floor level so you can emagine... beds were very hard, unconfortable. Woke up to chatter by noicy cleaning staff outside the room.

The location is perfect: about 200 meters far from the Castello Estense. The rooms and service are very good too: everything is clean and perfectly working in the room and the breakfast's menu is quite complete.

Annunziata was wonderful. The location is perfect, as you are in the heart of the old city, but it is still quiet and peaceful. Best hotel I stayed at in Italy. Right near the historic downtown. You can see the Este Castle right from the front door. Spacious rooms that are modern and rustic at the same time. Very clean room. Staff is extremely nice and went above expectations. I would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful hotel in a very central area. Clean and comfortable. To reach it you need to enter the ZTL. It can also be done without permission, the management will notify the police force. Highly recommended.
