After the renovation, this hotel changed a lot. It is up to date to what more modern hotels offer. The rooms are very clean and quiet. The location is perfect as it is next to the castle.

Prices are okay and the staff is always helpful and kind. I haven’t tried the breakfast. It is a great option for a quick stop in Ferrara.

I come often for work to Ferrara, but I love to stay next to the Castello. During this pandemic I've been already twice here and the service is amazing. It's difficult for me to find places in Italy where I can get Gluten-free food (due to my allergy). Thank you in particular to Giorgio for taking such good care of me as well as the rest of the staff. I can't complain about anything: -top location...

The location is perfect: about 200 meters far from the Castello Estense. The rooms and service are very good too: everything is clean and perfectly working in the room and the breakfast's menu is quite complete.

The service was awesome, with staff going out of their way to assist us. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was great. :) Fantastic spot close to the sights :)))))

Very nice hotel with "cachet"; we enjoyed our one night in Ferrara. The staff could be a bit more warm.

Felt I was in the house from my grandma because of the decoration. Not counting that it was an ok experience.

Beautiful hotel in a very central area. Clean and comfortable. To reach it you need to enter the ZTL. It can also be done without permission, the management will notify the police force. Highly recommended.

Centrally located in Ferrara, just few walking steps from the main attractions. Rooms are clean but very simply furnished.

Nice and comfortable hotel. Very good breakfast. Welcoming staff. The rooms are of good size. Both private and public parking available. The fitness room is also good.

We got a room at the top floor and with that comes a balcony with beautifull view of the city center, it was lovely. Garage is near hotel, a bit claustrophobic,but what else can you expect in the center of old city, I think they did their best, with the old building:). We've realy enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The apartment was very spacious and well equiped and clean. Beds were comfortable, air condition worked good. Optimal position, in the center. Friendly staff, always smiling and helpful even if only present from 9 to 20 more or less. The double room was minimal and nicely decorated even though the view was on the roof. Positive aspect was the luggage storage. Value for money more than fair

Excellent hotel from every point of view. Welcoming and helpful owner as well as very nice. He answered all our questions always with a smile and availability. I really liked the Smart concept, essential services with excellent quality, price, courtesy, cleanliness, location! Smart means a clean room with soap dispensers, as the big hotel chains are doing, no breakfast but there are 2 bars one in front of the hotel and one at 10 meters, very central, 5 minutes on foot a public parking cost. € 4.20 per day. Simple and unpretentious hotel very close to the center of Ferrara. Certainly one of the strong points is the parking, cheap and located 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Spacious rooms, with somewhat basic but nice furnishings, with air conditioning and above all clean. I limit myself to voting 4 because the place is special for those coming from outside, however the rooms are located inside the hospital, excellent cleanliness, the staff who manage the site very kind, excellent service for those who need not to leave the hospital, I as a worker found it a bit uncomfortable

Modest but cozy and clean rooms, the price is not the lowest but it is compensated by the fact that you are already inside the hospital (which is no small feat). I've stayed in the hotel a night, just a week ago. The location of the hotel is perfect. You are in the old town and there are some nice places to visit around. The suite was not at the level of the suite I have expected but I recommend the hotel and Ferrara. The main square and the castle are just there under your nose. Excellent location. The room lights didn't work but they offered us the option to book in a similar hotel or free dinner plus lamp for the room. While we dined, they fixed the lights. Excellent staff. Comfortable room.

Hotel is okay, it‘s clean and the employees are friendly. It’s very central, nice location. Price is too high if you book from another country. You can get the best price, if you book direct in italy over google or similar.

Great location, helpful staff, god breakfast (though slightly on the sweet side). The room was large. Had a room with a view of the Castle. Windows at floor level so you can emagine... beds were very hard, unconfortable. Woke up to chatter by noicy cleaning staff outside the room.

Parking, breakfast, fast internet, perfect reception are spoiled by insufficient air conditioning and ventilation in the room, which does not guarantee comfortable sleep on hot days

The best thing about the hotel is the staff, both in front office and breakfast, always extremely kind and available. The hotel was comfortable and clean, the position is strategic with a mall and easy access to means of transportation nearby. Breakfast was plenty and varied. Excellent cost-benefit experience.

We stayed here for 4 nights 2 of which were during the Busker festival. We were delighted with our superior room with Castle view. The breakfast is fit for kings with delicious homemade everything! Very spacious and comfortable.

Very basic place. No lift and no reception open out if hours. But very cheap. Rooms are rustic style. Convenient only if you need to stay out of town and in that specific area.
