The staff were friendly and very helpful. The accommodation did what it was supposed to do, however, the breakfast was the exact same simple mix every day

Old style hotel placed into a storical building within 5 minutes walk distance from the castle. The room is awesome, maybe too much decoration and stuff, but absolutely enjoyable. The staff is very friendly, even the room cleaning woman and the bar attender. Clean, well placed and comfortable hotel in a old fashion style!

Hotel Duchessa Isabella is a wonderful place, I loved it. The thing I likes most is breakfast and above all the people of the staff that are really kind.

Great staff. Rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast in the am was very nice with scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. Pastry of various types were also available. Water and juices were always ready, as was the capuchino machine. If you forget a plug converter, they have them at the front desk for check out. There's a small deposit in cash for that, bit is returned upon checkout. Great steak...

Nice, clean, in line with other 4-star Best Western hotels. Good breakfast and a good amount of bikes available for free, making up for the position (about 3km from the centre)

Great personnel. We entrred without reservation, was greeted with positive assistance and give a room. Room wss comfortable. Breakfast had wide range of choices. We would definitely recommend if you are in Ferrera.

The position is not right in the centre but in a good place to reach highway and industrial area. Gym, quiet and clean rooms, nice staff and a good breakfast complete an overall pleasant experience.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are big but bathrooms are small. Complimentary breakfast is nice. Place of the hotel is superb just outside fererra castle. Good place for hanging out

The reception was very kind and the room was perfect, altough both mine and my colleague's had the heating turned on (it was late april and there were 26° outside). We asked for it to be turned off and they complied. The hotel itself is close to the train station, a couple minutes by car and 10 by feet.

Everything is standard grade A first class hotel, your satisfaction is their pride try it and prove wrong.

I've stayed in the hotel a night, just a week ago. The location of the hotel is perfect. You are in the old town and there are some nice places to visit around. The suite was not at the level of the suite I have expected but I recommend the hotel and Ferrara. The main square and the castle are just there under your nose. Excellent location. The room lights didn't work but they offered us the option to book in a similar hotel or free dinner plus lamp for the room. While we dined, they fixed the lights. Excellent staff. Comfortable room.

Hotel is okay, it‘s clean and the employees are friendly. It’s very central, nice location. Price is too high if you book from another country. You can get the best price, if you book direct in italy over google or similar.

Great location, helpful staff, god breakfast (though slightly on the sweet side). The room was large. Had a room with a view of the Castle. Windows at floor level so you can emagine... beds were very hard, unconfortable. Woke up to chatter by noicy cleaning staff outside the room.

I come often for work to Ferrara, but I love to stay next to the Castello. During this pandemic I've been already twice here and the service is amazing. It's difficult for me to find places in Italy where I can get Gluten-free food (due to my allergy). Well located in the centre of the city with parking available (extra cost). The service by the staff was very good with a positive "can do" attitude. Breakfast selection was good. The room was very comfortable and very quiet. (We were in the annex).

The hotel manages rooms but also apartments. So you can decide the best way to stay in ferrara according to your finance needs. It is one of the closest hotel to the castle in a nice position. Suggested

Plus: location just infront of the castle. Helpful personnel. Clean room and comfy bed. Minus: don't pay for the spa. There's just a steam room, nothing else. Bath/shower very small and dangerous.

Hotel with a fair price with clean and comfy room. Don't expect any luxuries but it's a good place to rest specially if you are doing a road trip. On the bad side, the parking is really small and there are no assigned spots, so if you are late you will have to park on the adjacent mall (it has a huge parking and is less than 1 min away)

I have been staying in this hotel for some time now and I always get the best service. Paola which is a receptionist there, made my arrangements so easy for me and so quickly in a very reasonable prices. The room is very essential, but comfortable, clean and hot, sometime too hot. The breakfast acceptable for the cost of the structure, good quality even if limited choice of food. I will book again a room in the future.

The location is perfect: about 200 meters far from the Castello Estense. The rooms and service are very good too: everything is clean and perfectly working in the room and the breakfast's menu is quite complete.

Felt I was in the house from my grandma because of the decoration. Not counting that it was an ok experience.

Highly recommended for cyclists. A toolstation, pump (max 8bar) included is just in front of the entrance. Free bidon fills, energy + flavour powder & energy bars are included in the breakfast buffet

Annunziata was wonderful. The location is perfect, as you are in the heart of the old city, but it is still quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was amazing, everything you can image desiring was available. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We even were able to use the bikes to attend a concert on the other side of town. I was in the other structure annexe in the week for 2 nights... hotel room decor beautiful need different pillows and a kettle in the room as I had olderly people it was raining and couldn’t get to a bar or main hotel...so I suggest to have a kettle and better Pillows the rest was lovely...

Located very close to the city Centre, you feel at home from the first step in. The room we stayed was simply beautiful, at the top floor. In the morning you will be more than happy thinking about the breakfast that's waiting downstairs.

Excellent location for those who must visit the city, in the historic center .... otherwise normal services and excellent welcome from the staff, little assistance from 9 pm where you can only enter with a room card as there is no night service

Place is nice. Close to everything but quiet. Reasonably comfortable. Ultimately, though, it gets 5 stars for the staff. Couldn't be any friendlier or more helpful.
