We have been in many hotels in Italy. My fav was Villa Angela in Taormina Sicily (4 star hotel owned by Jim Kerr of Simple Minds). Now I doubt seriously. Very clean room, friendly staff, great pool, tasty breakfast and only a 10 min walk to the center.

Friendly, family-run hotel with a nice pool and several renovated rooms. The breakfast buffet is fairly varied for Italian standards, and eggs can be ordered to one's taste. There are also tables outside. It's a short (downhill/uphill) walk to the lake and back. Alessandra and her staff are very personable and accommodating. We really enjoy staying here!

Good priced hotel 10min walk to the lake and rooms a little dated but that's seems to be the same everywhere in italy unless you pay big money. Staff really nice and welcoming. Pool is always a bonus

A very nice, small family run hotel. For almost 10 years I have been using the hotel for a short break on the beautiful Lake Garda. The hotel is almost on the lake and the promenade. The parking lot included in the price, albeit a 10-minute walk away, is a plus. The rooms are always in perfect condition and nothing is missing on the level. I'll be back, no question!

We had a lovely few days here. If you want a fancy hotel with all the bells and whistles, then this place probably isn't for you. We booked our Lake Garda holiday for our 48th wedding anniversary. What luck....the Hotel Roma is a charming traditional hotel, clean, recently refurbished with basic facilities. The staff are both friendly and attentive. Beautiful location overlooking the lake.

This is an excellently located hotel right on the lake. The furniture in our room was a bit spartan and tired but the room was a good size and the bathroom was large and updated. The included breakfast was of good quality and variety. Overall a good value for the price.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Europa, everyone who works there are very friendly and ready to help in any way, the breakfast was outstanding so much choice and everything so fresh.

Wonderful welcome, room cleaned to a very high standard, we stayed in room 301 which has a magnificent balcony. Breakfast is varied and plentiful. Other meals, food was amazing, fish dishes a speciality. Would not hesitate to recommend a stay at the Miralago.

Nice relaxed atmosphere. Was a cold wet day and could sit inside. Delicious latte machiato and could sit behind glass to keep warm and see the lake.

The hotel room is clean and decent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is really good and we enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant. Not to be missed is the raw seafood appetizer and the seafood risotto.

Room spotless. Paid extra to get lake facing room and haven't been disappointed. Terrace is beautiful. Food in hotels restaurant is absolutely delicious and plentiful. Anyone who comes to this hotel and doesn't enjoy the food must be extremely hard to please. The service can be quite slow some nights but you are on holiday and there is no need to rush your meal. Not located right in the city center, this family-run hotel has become our favorite in Garda. The customer is king, cleanliness and courtesy are not empty phrases. We have been coming for several years and continue to do so. Approximately 15 minutes walk to city center, slightly downhill.

This hotel is nice,small,clean,the food is good but small portions. The first course is serve your self salad. Then choose 2 courses on the menu. Last serve your self sweets. Luigi and his family welcome you with open arms in their cosy hotel. We had a really good stay. The interior looks a bit dated, but the rooms are super clean and comfortable. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. Would definitely stay here again, if I'm ever back in Garda.

My partner and I absolutely loved this hotel! The location is superb, the staff were amazing. The hotel looks a lot better and cleaner in person. Excellent dinner and very friendly service. One of the better pizzas that I have had around Lake Garda. Terrace has a great view over Lake Garda, especially during sunset. Had dinner and drinks here twice, did not stay at hotel.

While my time in Italy and stay left me incredible anxious, this hotel were tremendous. I went over my ankle on the first night of arriving in Italy, and ended up breaking my ankle. I was a 28 year old female travelling alone, and this hotel, in particular Matilda and Mohammad, helped ensure that I was looked after as best as i could be and helped me get home to Ireland where I could see my specialist...

What a wonderful welcoming hotel with wonderful staff. A superb position with fantastic Lake views. Each time we have stayed here, my wife and I have always had a superb holiday. We cannot wait for the next one.

Service is very friendly. The hotel is just a couple mins far away from the lake. We had our 1 year old daughter with us and had no problems. The elevator is a little small, but the stroller fit in, and that all it matters to me :D. Definitely would come back !!!

Very friendly and helpful staff that can book discounted activities for you. Clean and well maintained amenities. There is plenty to walk to if you stay here. It’s just a 2 minutes from the lake, Garda downtown, grocery store, self-service laundry and churches. Parking is available for 7 euros a day. Thanks for a great stay!

Great place good location lovely staff

The hotel has an outdoor dining area adjoining the adjacent restaurant. There's a subtle barrier between the 2 denoting which is which. We had some lovely pasta - a seafood spaghetti and penne arribiata which were both nice.

We didn’t stay at the hotel but ate at the restaurant several times during our holiday. Each time, the food was delicious and the service was fantastic. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the view of the lake amazing. We hope to be back.

Awesome place. We ate the set menu and had four courses of the tastiest dishes ever. Every dish was a fish dish and it was so fresh and tasty. The service was exemplary and the waitress spoke excellent English. The food was some of the best I have ever eaten. Great price, location, breakfast and staff. Rooms very basic and could do with a bit of a revamp but for the price great.

Stayed here for a week through my visit to Lake Garda. Hotel is quite old I guess, but it's very well kept and is actually quite beautiful. On the downside my bed was hard as wood and so were the pillows. Shower cabinet was the smallest I've ever seen and once in I could hardly move. Otherwise I was very pleased 😌

Hotel Continental is a family hotel, the rooms are clean and all have a very nice view of the pool. The swimming pool is great. Would certainly recommend.
