Residence Punta Spin Tourist base in Grado

We stayed for two weeks in August, and I would like to leave an objective review, pointing out both the positive and negative aspects of our stay.

On the positive side, the residence is spacious, child-friendly, well organized, and the staff was always polite and helpful.

Unfortunately, we also experienced some serious issues that affected our stay:
• On the second evening, we noticed a spider infestation on the exterior walls of our bungalow — about 30 black spiders living in holes in the wall. We reported it immediately. At first, we were offered a spray to handle it ourselves (even though we had a 14-month-old baby). Only after insisting were we kindly moved to another bungalow.
• Later, due to maintenance work, there were repeated power outages. As a result, the fridge stopped working for about 12 hours and we had to throw away an entire bag of food. No one said anything about it, and we weren’t even offered any form of compensation — just a brief and insufficient “sorry.” This was very disappointing.

The brick bungalows are quite old and dark. The floors were visibly worn and even broken in some areas, which is concerning when you have a small child walking around barefoot.

While we appreciated the kindness of the staff and the structure’s layout, we would not choose to return due to the issues we faced. Regular maintenance and more attention to guests in situations like these would make a real difference.

If you're looking at the website pictures, BE CAREFUL! We checked in and were handed our bedding which we were supposed to put on ourselves. This was fine but it would have been better to tell us beforehand. Our bungalow for two weeks contained the barest of essentials (a single roll of toilet paper, one bin liner and sheets). It was in a good spot but there were many shortcomings: when it rained, the rain came fully into the terrace area and soaked strollers and shoes and the outside seating (happened multiple times), just 1 wall had at least 4 cellar spiders living in various holes as well as a large brown spider lurking in the rooms, there was a thin strip of door missing in the bathroom door so you could see into the bathroom, the sofa bed cover had a threadbare cover which was breaking, there was only surface cleaning done with dust in places one doesn't usually see (top of the bedroom light, the bathroom windowsill), the knives in the kitchen were very dull and difficult to use and the pan for 6 people was very small, and finally we had just one key card between 5 people. Also! The bungalow does not come with sun loungers or an umbrella at the beach so you have to pay upfront for that - 18€ a day for 1 umbrella and 2 sun loungers. 15€ for a 5 day subscription so for the time we stayed a grand total of 225€.

Bad value for money, old and not-well-kept (especially the beach). I do not recommend especially with kids and tent due to noisy night parties

Where should we start? We go to order we arrive at check-in ( a container ), we do the row, then after 15 minutes they tell us to go in the direction of.
We arrive at the *direction* we need a tournament to the Degree to 15.00. the management knows, and seeing the dozens of families arrive, thanks to this event.
Response? the room will be ready within 17 hours ??? Ask for explanations, fortunately solved by giving us another place already ready in that moment to arrive with our other acquaintances with the same problem, I suggest kindly as it was done for me the same solution.. Reply with a swift of a LADY in charge of reception, told me in a bad way *we know what to do and not to talk, because they eliminate them!! I'm at the point I say miss I don't I was talking with her!!! Because it puts you in the middle????? Respect for the client much more low than the standard. The accommodation is dated and with a strange odor, the absence of the bidet I had in France where you don't use.

The only Bar opens in the morning with calm to 08: 00 with the row of people who had to go to the tournament at 8.30 am and knew that c was this event.
Night porter very friendly and polite!! Paid into 5 approximately more than 100 EU and passes in the low season. The lack of a cafeteria and microwave oven and dishwasher. The beds we had to do it ourselves. I'm sorry but not going back there!! Shameful as I say thanks... For the rest he could spend. But is not concentrated solely on the respect to the paying customer. PS the second machine € 4. Incredible!
