We were a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed in 2 rooms (106/307), half board during Xmas week. Basically, our stay was perfect. I cannot recommend this hotel more - 5 stars!!!!!!!The people at the hotel, I think, are what make the difference. Every single person you meet is so kind, warm and helpful, just an exceptional level of service that is rarely seen anymore. The hotel rooms are beautiful and well designed. The food choices are amazing. The location is so convenient - minutes to the ski slopes, food store, bank and pharmacy. The spa area was very social and fun. The ski room with heated boot rack was great. We were so sad to leave and hope to return.

Outstanding hotel with great service beginning at check in. The personalized service comes from every staff interaction. Each night in the restaurant offers an imaginative and thoughtful menu. This is now our favorite hotel in Italy !!!

We are a family of five and have just returned from a wonderful week’s skiing in the Dolomites. We stayed in two rooms (407 and 408) in Hotel Le Majun and loved every moment. All of the hotel’s staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. The bar staff were particularly great and the restaurant staff were super too. Our rooms were large, modern, comfortable and clean and the mountain views from room 407 were breathtaking. We stayed half board and dinner every evening was excellent. Breakfast was delicious too with fresh fruit, pastries, yogurts, juices, all kinds of eggs and pancakes. The boot room is large, clean and warm too. We’d highly recommend visiting the hotel spa with its outdoor wooden hot tub overlooking the slopes, three or four saunas, steam room, plunge pool, swimming pool and relaxation rooms. We absolutely loved skiing in the Italian Dolomites and would highly recommend this cosy, charming and excellent hotel. Thank you to everyone at the hotel and we’ll be back again.

This beautiful chic boutique oozes with charm and good energy. All of the staff at the hotel have a natural positive attitude and friendliness. Everyone at the hotel is genuinely interested in serving you and ensuring that you are having the best experience but without being pushy or too formal. Although, the hotel looks busy but everyone who is woking there didn’t seem stressed rather calm and attentive. I stayed in a Mountain Room which is spacious and has all the amenities including tiny details to ensure comfortable and relaxed stay. The lighting options in the rooms are user friendly technology. I met the housekeeper everyday and everytime she was smiling and welcoming. The Spa & Wellness area is huge with a big pool that has got floor-to-celling windows to enjoy the marvellous views of the mountains while swimming. There is a hot tube in the outdoor area of the wellness zone that is overlooking the mountains besides a panoramic sauna. The location of the hotel is right in the heart of Alta Badia surrounded by mountains and walking distance to most mountain activities. La Majun is an elegant retreat for these looking for luxury and quality holiday experience.

The owner and staff were wonderful. The layout of the complex gave it a feeling of being home. It is designed to make you feel like you are at home. The bar/lounge area was super inviting, felt like family in the lounge, and everyone was happy. The rooms were very nice; again, they made us feel like we were at home. The closets were marvelous. The spa service fees during the fall were so reasonable that I booked several appointments. Love it when I don't feel like I'm giving up a kidney for a facial or massage. We will be going back!

My husband and I stayed for a week at Hotel La Majun as our base location for an anniversary hiking trip. It was outstanding! The location is great for exploring the best of the Dolomites and it is much less crowded than the major cities you typically read about for this area. While there are fewer restaurants, bars etc in La Villa, you don't need to worry because the food and service at La Majun is top notch. The breakfast is excellent- great fresh juices, beautiful locally made breads, cheeses and jams, eggs/meat, and delicious fresh pastries- and will power you through you hiking or biking adventures for the day. The dinner is also lovely and they will cater to your dietary requests. The staff is so lovely and they pay so much attention to all of the details. We also enjoyed the wellness area with beautiful saunas, steam room, pool and places to relax and unwind from a day of activity. Our room had an extraordinary view. It was on the smaller side but very clean and comfortable. We honestly were not spending tons of time there anyway. The towns of La Villa and adjacent San Cassiano have some lovely shops and places to rent bikes or get information on hiking. There are some nice little restaurants as well if you want pizza or something more casual than the hotel meal. The Alta Badia tourism offices (in both towns) are a great place to get suggestions on hikes to suit your mood/level of activity for the day. We cannot wait to come back to Hotel La Majun. Roberta, Natalie and their team are wonderful hosts and we adored our stay in the Dolomites!

The spa and pool amenities were a big surprise. Giving you access to a hot tub, pool, quiet area, cool plunges and all other spa features. That was great especially after a long day of hiking and biking. The staff were all super helpful and the building was in amazing shape. Top notch facilities.

We had a fantastic stay. The hotel is beautifully designed with great attention to detail. Our room was spacious with plenty of storage. The included happy hour offered many options, and the receptionist was friendly and helpful, providing excellent recommendations for hikes and restaurants. The indoor pool, sauna, and relaxation room were beautifully decorated and made a wonderful bonus to our stay.
