Beautiful hotel and fabulous location. Ferry a hop skip n jump away. Not noisy at all. Restaurant was lovely and breakfast delightful. Staff were so attentive and helpful. Pool in the sun and plenty of umbrellas if needed. Outlook from lake window view well worth the extra if you can. Just such a gorgeous hotel and location I’d love to go back.

The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and there is good a/c. Staff are extremely thoughtful and kind. Front desk helps with arranging transportation by taxi which is very helpful (they kindly ask for 24 hour notice). First, the hotel is perfectly located. Could see the lake from our room and the ferry being across the street is a big bonus! I’m glad we opted to stay in Lenno over the other “popular” towns. This hotel is clean, beautiful, HAS AC, and the breakfast was great! Would happily stay again and highly recommend!

We only ate lunch here, but the service was great. Later that day, on our way back to the ferry, we needed to use a restroom and the hotel staff were very welcoming. I’d definitely eat here again if we ever come back.

I stayed for 4 nights in this beautiful hotel. All the staff have been truly friendly. The room and the food were excellent, plus everywhere was clean. The hotel can be reached by bus or boat directly outside and is in walking distance of an iconic movie location. Stopped here for a beer during my Greenway del lago walkabout. Got there aroumd 6 PM. There is not much of a view but it was great observing the interactions between the locals. A beer is about half the price here, Euro 4 for a .66 liter bottle. Did not eat. Friendly staff.

Honestly can’t thank this hotel enough! I have a gluten allergy ( coeliac disease) we went to about 5 restaurants and they all said no can’t serve you! Nice, convenient apartment almost directly located at Lake Como and Lenno’s boulevard. Also, there is a possibility to park the car in front of the apartment complex. Furthermore, the boat stop/pier is also in close proximity, allowing for easy visiting of Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna (and others).

This hotel is located in such a pretty area on the lake, there’s a long stretch that takes you to a few restaurants and a beautiful park. This hotel would have for sure gotten 5 stars had i not got food poisoning from one of the on-site restaurants. Very friendly service. Reception with drink and appetizer. There was no oil or spices in the apartment which one would expect as standard. There was no air conditioning but a standing fan. Center is 25 min. walk away. Unfortunately, the path is almost continuously directly on the winding, confusing main road without a pedestrian path.

Read a lot of reviews before coming here. I would argue that a lot of the negative reviews can be disregarded as I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. We stayed here 10/2015 on our first night of our honeymoon, I wanted a nice hotel on the lake that would be afford a comfortable sleep after an 8 hour flight. Hotel Excelsior Splendide is in a perfect spot for travel to LAKE COMO , centrally located with steps to the many ferries that stop there daily. We had just arrived in Bellagio and we stopped there to have some drinks, pizza. The pizza was great. Tried the margarita pizza. It was good. But the best part was the breath taking view of lake Como. Definitely one of the best experiences. The prices are same as any other restaurant in Italy. Not expensive

Humble yet charming little hotel in the very heart of Bellagio. In a place like Bellagio location is everything, and the view from the terrace is stunning. Highly recommended for adventurers who don't need luxuries and are out and about often.

we did not stay here. but a lunch stop here was totally worth it. it overlooks the lake and the Aperol spritz were awesome here. You should have the Frutti di mare linguini. It was the most delicious.

The welcoming, patient attitude of the owner and staff was very much appreciated. The room had a view of the lake and we found the view to be prettier than expected. We found the maid service to be better than expected. We were very happy to find that anything we asked for was met immediately. The staff were friendly, professional and efficient. Great location. A lovely guesthouse with amazing view of the lake. Basic but very clean. All you need. Laura was very friendly and helpful. Even presented my husband with a bottle of sparkling wine for his birthday.

We stayed in Albergo Giardinetto (Bellagio) for one night after our hike from Como to Bellagio. Laura and her father were wonderful hosts. We especially loved our room with the small balcony and the stunning view of Lake Como. Everyone who is looking for a laid back and authentic place to stay goes for Albergo Giardinetto!

If you want to visit Lake Como - this is such a beautiful little town - next to the lake. you have the ferry across the road - to go all over the lake 14€ for the whole day - get on get off - this Hotel Argegno is run by a local family with history - 5 star accommodation- food is superb - can’t beat the breakfast and the views from the rooms are to die for / Don’t hesitate to book with them - good...

We really enjoyed this hotel and cannot wait to come back. The rooms are clean and larger for a standard European room. We had rooms facing the lake. The road does get busy and noisy early. The staff is lovely and helpful. The included breakfast included typical European fare. Croissant, bread, cheese, meat, yogurt, Muesli, coffee, juice. It is steps from the ferry terminal, $15 euro got us...

We stayed here for 5 nights. . The hotel is lovely, the staff and owners are very helpful and friendly, the food is excellent, the location is perfect, the rooms are spotless, this all adds up to a perfect stay. Would highly recommend staying here.. We will definitely come back..

Waterfront property with beautiful Lake Como views. Parking was included which is a plus given the area. We got a delicious breakfast one morning but don’t have much else to add for the quality of other meals. Recommend spending the extra money and getting a lake view.

We loved our stay at Grand Hotel Menaggio. Great views and a nice pool that was much needed as it was a heatwave when we stayed. The staff were very attentive and made us feel welcome and relaxed. Possibly the best buffet style breakfast I've had anywhere, too.

This hotel really is amazing, located wonderfully on Lake Como for beautiful views, lovely and friendly staff and the food is perfect too, we would highly recommend booking in for the evening meal here and book a Lake View room, they really are perfect views to wake up to.

Good value package holiday hotel with slightly small rooms but a good view over the lake. Small but nice swimming pool. The dock for boats going round the lake is conveniently nearby. You can visit the island where a Star Wars film was filmed.

Nice apartment. Well equipped. Quiet. Super nice view. Great to have two terraces, one on each side. Pool area is great. Nice sun beds with a small "roof" to create shade over one's head. Pool nicely located between two buildings so that it's always possible to get a spot in either the sun or the shade depending on one's wish. The residence is located on a very steep street. The location of the apartment is unparalleled. The view of the lake from the balcony is gigantic. So you can already enjoy the pure landscape at breakfast on the terrace. The apartment itself is super cut, but it is extremely cheaply equipped and you can tell by the condition of the furniture. A drawer in the kitchen was broken, the closet in the children's room was broken. However, simple repairs...

We stayed with our friends for 1 week there in July 2021, rented two maisonette apartments. We all enjoyed the stay. Apartment was kept very clean and furnished. We had some minor difficulties like for instance, some fans were not working, etc. But overall it was an enjoyable 1 week.
