Fantastic hotel! Owners are lovely and couldn't do more for you! Location is a bit far up the mountain, but the bus is very handy and taxis are easy to use. Wouldn't recommend if you want to walk into town. Restaurant is lovely also, with a great menu! Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful place over the hills in malcesine I recommend hireing a car as it's quite hilly if you need to get to town most nights but the hotel is only a 3 star I coukd not fault it clean bar and breakfast all ok no problems at all recommend to anyone

To feel good! The rooms are nicely and functionally furnished, very nice bathroom with shower. Everything is very well maintained. Just awesome ! Family visits the hotel for 34 years now and it's just perfect. Best breaky I know, super clean rooms and facility at all. Now also with a jacuzzi on the rooftop, pretty nice to the one in the backyard. Staff super friendly and helpful. Would never book another hotel at the Lake !

the location was amazing, 5 min walk to the castle for weddings and 2 mins from the lake edge for a swim

This hotel is superbly located and it has a very nice pool. Relaxed atmosphere and incredibly helpful staff. Breakfast was traditional, all very nice. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is that the rooms are quite loud, we could hear another guest watching TV at 1am. Not sure why wasn't asleep! Not a big problem though. Also the room did not have a fridge which is something I would expect...

We loved this place. A very very short walk to the beach, amazing service and comfortable rooms. A perfect time in Malcesine! Of the 4 weeks vacation through Europe, my kids liked Lake Garda and Malcesine the best.

Great setting by the lake, helpful friendly staff. Our room faced the mountain which we enjoyed as it faced away from the main road noise. Food good and reasonable. Malcasini was a half hour walk away, plenty of places to bathe, water activities or just watch the paragliding coming into land

Very nice hotel with very nice garden and pool. The pool is very clean and big but from the quality not the best but okay. The apartments are a bit old but very comfortable. The spar area is not for free, just the first time. And the hotel is perfect located, you have a fantastic view over the Gardasee. And the Breakfast here is also very yummy with a big selection.

Everything was perfect: quiet and beautiful location but still near to the beach (500m short cut) and Strada Panoramica/Monte Baldo, room (spacious and super clean with incredible views to the mountains!!), really good and healthy breakfast. The staff were really kind and helpful everyday (also speaks English). If we someday come back to Laco di Garda we’ll definitely stay here!

Nice, clean, spacious rooms, although not all rooms were seen. Relatively a quiet street. Not exactly appropriate for families with small children, as there are no pedestrian ways (sidewalks), and walking outside the hotel could be dangerous. It is a curvy 30km zone road but no one observes it. Also, there is very poor, if any, internet connection in the hotel. Very irritating!

After having stayed here for the second time (regular rooms with and without balcony) we really enjoyed the location of the hotel as it is located outside of Malcesine, away from the overcrowded City-Center. The pool, as well as the access to the lake are very calm and a big reason as to why we decided to come here again. Having breakfast on the balcony is really relaxing as you get an amazing view...

Great location just north of Malcesine with beautiful rooms and magnificent views of the lake. There is a top class restaurant serving limited dish menus which are top notch and very reasonably priced although there is enough served to easily feed two people from one order. We love this place! We got married in the castle last year and we stayed at the sporting residence with all our guests and they loved it too! The views are breathtaking and the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very spacious and clean and although very limited in equipment in the rooms the staff will try to provide whatever you need. Its a super calm place to rest. The Hotel has an outside jacuzzi as well with heated water, so if the weather is not OK for swimming, you can rest there. Cozy rooms, and restaurant also. I recommend.

The location is beautiful with a fantastic view of the castle even though the hotel is in the city it is really quiet and not far from the port, the bus station or the lake. The rooms are also beautifully decorated. The waitresses are all very polite and grateful. Cleaning lady is also a super nice lady. Drinks prices are a bit high but it's worth the price.

The hotel is centrally located and yet quiet. The typical Italian breakfast can be taken on the terrace next to the pool. Coffee was very good. There are enough loungers at the large pool. From our room we had a great view of the castle and the lake. Parking is also not a problem, the car is right next to the hotel under old olive trees. We would choose the hotel again.

We had a nice and comfortable stay 2 weeks ago. We loved the garden where you can have a nice and relaxed breakfast and it has also a jacuzzi pool. Had a wonderful six days visiting Malcesine which was made even more special by stopping in the lovely family run hotel Casa Serena. The rooms are extremely comfortable and all have lovely views of the lake. Every part of the hotel is spotlessly clean. Great little pool with comfy loungers. This is a lovely friendly hotel. The staff were all very helpful and keen to ensure that we were comfortable and having a good holiday. The location is great, right at the heart of the old part of town. We feel that it gave excellent value for money and would certainly stay again.

One of the managers knew about 5 languages and would seek to learn at least a sentence of any new guests he didn't know the language of, so he could make them feel welcome and greet them. Really nice hotel, with an unbeatable location right on the lakeside, only a few meters away from the main harbour and few minutes from the castle. The hotel is on the more basic side of things but the things it does are done well. The place is kept immaculately, the breakfast is good and the staff have been really friendly and helpful.
