From outside, the unassuming Hotel has a beautifully renovated modern rooms. To Service a sun terrace with a private jetty in the lake. This included in the room rate spacious underground Parking and free fast Wifi in the hotel rooms is well received. Mobile phone reception can be left in this corner of the lake a bit to be desired. But who wants to be in the holiday always by telephone reachable;-)
The Bel Sit Hotel is a small Hotel, so no ground clearance. Breakfast in good weather on the lake-facing terrace, as well as in the case of less good weather in the spacious Breakfast room.
We booked a lake facing double room in the 2. Floor for 130 Euro the night. It was worth every penny. The room was not only clean and decorated in a modern style, it also provided one for us as a passionate Hobby-photographer breathtaking view over the lake and the adjacent mountains. In spite of the on the other side of the house leading past a lot of busy SS33 was to enjoy the room more than quiet and at night with the window open to the lake. Each of these rooms, in the direction of the lake has a small balcony, so sun-worshippers come not only on the large terrace of the hotel, but also directly in front of the own door.
The Breakfast was plentiful, both for lovers of the sweet kitchen, as well as for those who like to Breakfast like hearty. Cereal, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit and yoghurt are also on offer, such as typical sausages and selection of cheeses, bread, cakes, cookies, and freshly squeezed juices.
The Hotel offers a Bar but no Restaurant. Given the selection of restaurants in walking distance, the latter can, however, loose.
We did NOT stay by here, but simply walked in for a cup of coffee.
We were treated like the family of the owner. We trimmed for lunch the next day (they only do breakfast and lunch). The food was awesome.
Several days later we stopped in for a late afternoon drink (24 hour bday service). We again were treated like royalty.
Our suite had a good size, i loved that the toilet is separate from the bathroom.
Shower in the bathroom is in the bath (incl jacuzzi) and has multiple options. Shower is good. Enough space in the bathroom
The bed was super big and had nice silk sheets, we loved the bed.
The balcony with view on the lake doesnt give much privacy but waking up with the morning sun on the balcony and in the room was really amazing. This morning it was 22 degrees so temp was comfortable but i think that when its 25+ degrees its too hot to sit on the balcony.
In the afternoon you will hardly have sun here on the sundeck and balcony.
Room has a nice climate system (airconditioning). Wooden floor in the room. Tiles floor in the bathroom.
There is enough closet space for your clothes. A minibar. A safe.
Beach towels are in the room.
The room is located next to the breakfast area and in the morning you could hear the staff preparing the breakfast. Other noises like doors closing etc you can hear clearly in the room as well
Private parking garage below the hotel is narrow to drive into -and its for free.
Wifi is great and solid.
Wheelchair friendly. Elevator available as well.
SUP available for €12 per hour
Lake is cold to swim compared to the sea in Sicily. But you defined can swim, water looks clean
