Shopping, excursion boat stop beside to tour the all lake.
Management helpfful, but some kind strict in attitude.
It is hard to find a real good hotel in Arona, Giardino is a good compromise if You do not want to stay in Stresa. Parking might be a nightmare, hotel has no reserved parking spaces - and only a limited amount of "free parking" badges. Go for the "supreme" rooms with lake view, the other rooms are very very old and impossible to keep clean. They have not been updated for 15+ years and really need renovation. The hotels restaurant is really good.

Location is great and staff was nice.
The bad:
One of the worst hotel rooms I’ve been in.
The carpet in the room smelled horrible from mold and the bedroom was in a very bad condition and old.
The worst part was that our window was in front of a restaurant which had bottles being thrown extremely loudly at 4AM for an hour.
This was a complete nightmare which destroyed a full day of our vacation.
Its less than 10 minutes from the train station in one direction and the old town in the other.
Theres a continental breakfast with meats cheeses breads rolls fruit cerealand pastries.
We found it good value for money and bonus was we got room with a lake veiw.
