Handy for touring the region on either local boats, busses, and trains ( train station is a 10min walk)
Food/service fantastic, the hotel does cater for coach parties which can make the resteraunt noisey in the evening, they were gone before we made breakfast!

This hotel is over two buildings and we were in the smaller one. Upon check-in told, ‘the lift goes to 5, you’re on 6’ so had to haul bags up a huge flight of stairs.
We had a twin room where we had to separate the beds. There was barely room to walk around them and the beds were tiny and therefore quite uncomfortable.
The WiFi kept cutting out in our room.
At breakfast, although the staff were lovely, there was a lot of hovering which made for an uncomfortable and not leisurely dining experience.
Shame no English tv channels or coffee/tea maker
