Location piacevole in un bel contesto. Personale gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, lo chef è davvero in gamba e il servizio ottimo. È una struttura datata e necessita di manutenzione. La SPA carina, peccato per le vasche idro che non funzionavano

Ein Urlaub der Extraklasse haben wir erleben dürfen im Catell Rundegg. Wir haben unseren Sommerurlaub zum ersten Mal in Meran verbracht und es ist wunderbar gewesen. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer im Schloss und ein Einzelzimmer im Anbau. Die Zimmer haben keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Der Service im Haus in allen Abteilungen ist einfach wunderbar gewesen. Unaufdringlich immer da wo man jemanden an seiner Seite benötigte. Das Abendessen verdient nach unserer Meinung mindestens einen Stern. Wunderbare Auswahl jeden Abend und eine erstklassige Weinkarte. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und vielfältig und schöner kann ein Start in den Tag nicht beginnen. Das Schloss verfügt über ein Innen- und Außenschwimmbad sowie einen großen Fitnessraum. Massagen können ebenfalls gebucht werden. Der Garten ist ein Traum und ein perfekter Rückzugsort. Ein besonderes Plus ist der Gastgeber David. Ein Hotelier mit Herz und Leidenschaft selten haben wir uns so sehr " als Gast bei Freunden gefühlt" wie hier. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder und darauf freue ich mich bereits heute. 5 Sterne vergeben wir hier von ganzem Herzen.

Abbiamo soggiornato per quattro giorni. Siamo stati benissimo. Abbiamo apprezzato le dimensioni della stanza, ampia e con balcone, il centro benessere completo in ogni aspetto, ma soprattutto la gentilezza e disponibilità del personale e la qualità del ristorante. Torneremo

Es war mein zweiter Aufenthalt im Hotel Castel Rundegg und wieder genauso schön und erholsam wie beim ersten Mal. Ich möchte mich auf diesem Weg nochmal bei allen, und ich meine wirklich bei allen, Mitarbeitern bedanken. Jeder ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit und die Küche zaubert die tollsten Essen auf den Tisch. Der Spa- und Wellnessbereich sind ein Traum und vor dem Abendessen kann man wunderbar seine Runden durch den großen Pool ziehen. Das Castel Rundegg wird mich wieder sehen.

What an utter gem! David and his top-notch team lead an exquisite hotel with great care, having thought through every detail of the guest experience. The building itself — an historic castle — is beautiful and well-maintained, surrounded by a stunning garden with a pool and mountain views. The food and drink are excellent. The spa is the perfect spot for a restorative break. David and the staff are so helpful in offering recommendations and doing whatever they can to facilitate a relaxing stay in Merano. In an era in which so many hotels have turned into sterile corporate carbon copies of each other, Schloss Rundegg offers a refreshingly unique experience. We look forward to returning as soon as we can!

Siamo stati la prima volta in Castel Rundegg. Siamo stati entusiasti della Accoglenza dei gestore e di tutto il personale. Il panorama indimenticabile ed à tavola grande soddisfazione. Saremo volentiere Ancora con Voi : Grazie mille a tutti!!!

Booked last minute and received a price around €150 incl breakfast which is excellent value these days. Loved the park, the outside pool, the outside lounge. The inside pool and the rooms are a tad on the older charming side, but this is typical in all of Italy, and especially in castle hotels. We were very happy with our stay.

Castel Rundegg hat unsere Erwartungen in jeder Hinsicht übertroffen! Das Essen war hervorragend, besonders für Vegetarier gab es eine große Auswahl an köstlichen Gerichten. Die Geburtstagsüberraschung war einfach fantastisch und hat den Tag unvergesslich gemacht. Das Personal war stets freundlich und aufmerksam, insbesondere David, der Hotel Direktor, der uns mit seiner herzlichen und zuvorkommenden Art begeistert hat. Wir können Castel Rundegg nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Lovely historic hotel with fantastic views and extremely courteous staff.
Wonderful outdoor pool and a convenient indoor one for bad weather.
Breakfast and dinner were top notch, made even better by the historic interior of the dining hall.
It’s very close to the center, but removed just enough to not be disturbed by constant foot traffic one sees in the old town quarter.

We had another fantastic visit to this most wonderful hotel, our first since the pandemic. David, Daniel, and their staff have done a magnificent job of not only maintaining their superb level of service but have also managed to make noticeable yet subtle improvements to their excellent service. Their restaurant is Michelin Star worthy to include their generous breakfast buffet that is included. I can’t say enough about how great the Hotel Castle Rundegg truly is!
