The worst places I’ve ever stayed. The previous reviews are accurate as can be. My experience:
As we were unlocking the room the handle came off.
The AC stopped working after check in.
Bathroom door was impossible to close and even I did after a hard push of here was no lock.
Shower head kept dropping and was hard to shower.
Shower door was broken and hard to close.
Gardens dirty and full of weeds.
After all that we came to have a breakfast and there was no food left. I tried to get some food that was on the other side of the table and service lady start yelling very loud on the entire cafeteria which was very embarrassing. I couldn’t understand a word she was saying (in Italian). She grabbed my crapes with her hands and put back for other group to eat. Not mentioning that she was cleaning plates before. I immediately lost my appetite. My child almost started to cry from embarrassment. We left cafeteria hungry and embarrassed. That would not happen in US or any country I traveled before.
I’m not sure who gave 4 stars but it’s 0 stars hotel.

Probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, the room was in a poor condition, it smelled of stale smoke, there was fluff all over the sheets, the air conditioning didn’t work, the blinds were jammed and I had to physically force them down, and whenever a light was on there was a loud buzzing sound. Walls paper thin so you could hear everybody else’s alarms.
I’d recommend staying somewhere else, probably closer to Venice too!

Edit: Never went to a bowling alley so I don't know what the owners are talking about, wasn't even aware there was one. And in terms of the blinds the manual cord didn't work, I had to open the window and put my weight on the blinds to get them to move down. Simply, some maintenance on the rooms wouldn't go amiss

Stayed in this hotel a few weeks ago and it was honestly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I’ve had hostels that were better! There was hairs on the floor and under the top sheet of my bed, left over gummy bears stuck to the floor, a toilet seat hanging off, the shower doors were hanging on by a thread, a wardrobe door that literally fell off when I tried to open it and nearly fell on my foot. No working AC as well. Unclean and practically falling apart, recommend looking elsewhere to stay!

Should be zero stars this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. There are definitely cheaper options for a better stay.

I made a list because the hotel kept getting worse as my stay progressed.

- AC does not work
- Staff already knows the AC doesn’t work
- Heat rises, the higher your room the hotter it will be
- You will sleep sweaty and sticky on the third and second floor, the first floor is manageable but in YOU MUST HAVE ALL THE WINDOWS OPEN
- Reached a point where even being naked in bed you could feel sweat dripping down your skin, YOU WILL NOT SLEEP WELL
- On the topic of sleep there is a main road next to the hotel and at night there are very loud cars which will WAKE YOU UP

- Walls in very poor condition stains and ripped wallpaper
- bugs in the rooms
- Some lights not working making it dark
- Furniture missing parts such as a cabinet door in one of my pictures
- MOULDY ceilings
- Outlet covers not actually covering outlets which can cause fires and or electrical hazards

-The hotel itself is honestly in shambles
- Dirty gardens
- The food is barely edible
- Place is falling apart
- For service there is no do not disturb hangers for the rooms, they will enter your room during the day for room service removing any privacy you might have had

That concludes my notes and experience with this hotel avoid at all costs. If you do unfortunately have to stay here please use my above tips if you wish to sleep for at least an hour.

Good luck

This hotel is TERRIBLE!!! I stay in hotels 60+ nights a year, and I genuinely think this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. My room was covered in hair, there was a half used soap bar in the bathroom, and the AC does not work. The beds are not clean and I woke up with bites everywhere, so I think there might be bedbugs. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

The most unfortunate place I ve seen. Food noneatable cook could be unprofessional. Catering disgusting rooms with dangerous slippery stones. The red wine served was really bad compared to others we have tried in Italy. The hotel looks as if they are going to pull it down. No air- conditioning except for the fan. The looks of the hotel is shabby. I have stayed at hostels and I knew beforehand what to expect /smart packbakers in London looked even better/here they claim they have 4 stars. It seems unbelievable

I hate to say it, but it was the worst stay I've ever experienced.
The shower booth hardly drain so I had to turn the faucet on and off continuously during my shower to prevent flooding. The bedding was also terrible because the mattress felt like a huge sponge with zero elasticity. I couldn't help but keep staying since I was a part of group tour, however, I was completely eager to leave there as soon as possible. I strongly recommend the owner to refurbish the rooms, and he/she might get a chance to price the room rate more higher.
I've stayed at several 4-star hotels in Italy, however, only this staying made me quite annoyed. If you're considering staying at this hotel during your travel to Italy, I will completly disagree with that idea.

This is more of a 2- star hotel than 4. The rooms are really old fashioned and you can tell everything is old but still I would give it a better review. Update: room service is ok but still the below is soo terrible I am not giving it a better review.

The breakfast experience was the worst. The food was terrible, and everything was served in the original package! When salami run out, for example, the serving lady just drops 5-6 more pieces of salami. Lol like that is going to cover the 10 ppl that got in. The same with croassants ( the ones on the photo) - she literally dropped them from one plate to another. Like she hates being there.

I am staying one more day but seriously thinking of skipping breakfast.

The croassants were ok.

I understand that some things are tipically Italian, but I have been to other Italian hotels with fewer stars that had more offering and better service for breakfats!

The hotel is a total disaster… from the look of the hotel to the helpfulness and decency of the staff…
It is difficult to understand why is this hotel rated with 4 stars since the hotel is half-ruined, the rooms are terrible, the furniture in the room is broken, dust is everywhere, moisture on the walls, the beds stink, there is no hot water in the shower, so we showered in the cold freezing water… if we talk about hotel staff - terrible people !!! Unhelpful, rude and arrogant !!! They do not meet the basics of etiquette - they do not greet hotel users, to our request to repair the shower, their answer is: "It's not our fault, take a shower with cold water!". If we talk about food, suffice it to say that we got stomach poisoning, digestive problems and vomiting… food is not cooked, it is raw..it is served completely cold and on paper plates !!! Cutlery is not washed, it is greasy and dirty !!! Drinks served in plastic cups !!!
The hotel garden is uncleaned, full of cigarette butts, leaves, bottles of various alcoholic beverages, leftovers, etc.…
In short - the hotel is disgusting! Disaster service!
Heartfelt advice to all people looking for accommodation - definitely don't go to Venice Palace Hotel !!!! Bypass it, because you can find a much better hotel!!

Bathroom wasn’t clean, mattresses were awful and uncomfortable. Breakfast was also poor. Staff on the reception were nice.
