The hotel is located on small and very quiet “piazzetta”. Every landmark can be reached in minutes. We have parked our car in the public parking called “Campo della Fiera” and used the escalators to reach the piazzetta in which the hotel is located. Very convenient and easy to find. Very quiet and peaceful, not your average hotel chain so it is very unique and authentic. A good hotel to experience the local life. Staff are very cheerful and friendly. Feels more of a personal experience. Not the best hotel for people who can't do stairs, there is a lift but some of the rooms still have a few steps including reception. Wheelchair users would not be able to use this hotel.

Stylish and modern, delightfully integrated into this exceptionally historic township, all with helpful stafd and delightful breakfasts! Very highly recommended.

Stayed there at the beginning of our 2 weeks in Italy and it was a fantastic way to kick off our journey. Great location, amazing breakfast and a wonderful group of people. I recommend without hesitation and hope to return soon.

Orvieto is a historical timepiece and this hotel contributes immensely to the experience. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The hotel and the staff have our warmest recommendations and we'll definitely stay there again in the future.

The hotel is in a quiet part of Orvieto, close to everything in walking distance. The staff is friendly and always helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The perfect place to stay in this perfect little City.

Convenient old town location, clean. Dated features, A/C doesn't work. Good breakfast, helpful staff.

Hotel Oasi Dei Discepoli

Family of 4, we passed through Ovietto. This hotel was perfect for us, the value for money is great, we checked in late and left in the morning. The rooms were clean, air conditioning worked, rooms were clean, and breakfast was right to the point with really tasty Croissants. We got everything we needed.

Very quiet and peaceful place. Service very nice and helpful. Breakfast plentiful and tasty. When in Orvieto again we will definitely be back.

This old fashion hotel is a real paradise for the vintage lovers. Fast check-in, big room, clean toilet, marble stairs have been very appreciated. Paddle court, church, big parking lot and many more amenities are sign features of this hotel. Remember it's in Sferracavallo not Orvieto, but this has been a plus for me cause parking in Orvieto city centre is impossible.

Clean, good parking, decent breakfast. A bit run down. Shower cabin is tiny. There is a chapel that forms an integral part of the main lobby, but it is no longer in use, a bit sad to see.

Nice, quiet and comfortable hotel near Orvieto, Italy, a very unique a picturesque city built on a rocky hill. The rooms are large and have wifi. The breakfast was good, providing a good variety of food.

Clean comfortable and large rooms helpful hotel staff. Ample parking space in the hotel grounds. The only problem we came across was the approach from the main road especially arriving at night.

This ruined castle has been converted into a hotel with fantastic indoor and outdoor spaces. Most notably of which is a ruined roofless church which has a beautiful arch and stunning views of Orvieto. Rooms are very overpriced however the setting is beautiful and I think the expectation is that rooms are hired by guests for an event such as a wedding and who are, therefore, a captive audience

It was perfect. Of the 20 nights we stayed in Italy, this was not the most luxurious place to stay, but it was the most welcoming and satisfactory. I had a good time in a quiet country house with my very kind grandfather and dogs.

Our family of 7 adults stayed here for two days. The entrance to the property is very unassuming like many Italian country residences but when you enter the driveway it does not disappoint. Excellent, a charming place to stay, either a single night or for a while. Very nice people, english speaking. You gaze at Orvieto from the wonderful olive fileds of the family before having the home-made pastry at breakfast.

The hotel is located in a beautiful spot with nature all around. It's very peaceful here and you are just 5 minutes away from the centre of orvieto. The rooms are comfortable and the batch room is nice and big.

Nice italien atmosphere. Nice rooms with a well equiped bathroom. Slept well. Airco is adjustable at the airco to accelerate the fan!! Swiming pool with a terrace. Bought a bottle of Orvieto White wine. Broke a glass. No problem! Ate in Orvieto. Drove by car. IT is too far to Walk when you leave late. I recommend this hotel. I hope the personal attitude stays.

Clean adequate. Has a pool. Inexpensive. Basic breakfast. Located near train. Beds hard. Room small. AC struggles. No English speaking. You get what you pay for. Good for 1 night.

I love this hotel. My husband has come here with students for 8 years. I have accompanied him twice. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent. Breakfasts superb. We spent 2 weeks there and I miss it already. It feels like home.

Very fortunate to get the last two rooms at this small hotel situated in the prime position of the Piazza del Duomo. Very modern little hotel. Sparkly clean and attractive. Again staff were warm and helpful. I would recommend.

Great location on Duomo side in an ancient historical square. Beautiful in daylight, emotional during night time. Helpful, friendly and English-speaking staff. Tiny rooms with wonderful views of the Duomo. You're not supposed to take your room key with you, which I find very odd but isn't a problem. Rooms have stocked mini fridges; no prices are posted but I'm pretty sure those aren't complimentary so know what you're getting into.

Great location. Had a great view of the Duomo and surrounding piazza. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was decent: yogurt, pastries, granola, fruit, bread, juice, etc. Would stay again.

The placeis a gem, also very, friendly and helpful, had an accicent while in Orvietto, and the owners went out of their way to help

Beautiful hotel, even better food at the restaurant. Cant say enough about how great this place is. Not too far of a drive from old orvieto.

The villa is nice. The people were nice. In a great area away from the buddy area. They need to have a better breakfast. There were simple things they didn't have and when you asked, no we don't have it. The price isn't cheap there.

Everything was perfect - nice personnel, big and comfortable rooms, terraces at the rooms, breakfast, garage and location - close to the city, but have to climb the hill. We liked this hotel very much and reccomend it to other travellers who travel by car.

Nice quiet hotel with friendly staff. Only giving 4 stars as breakfast was only cake...but that said it was very nice. Would most certainly visit again. Parking was on road side but quiet area so not a problem. They do offer a secure garage though for 5 euro if you wanted. Room was lovely!

Excellent small hotel on quiet street. Very near train station and funicular to old town. Nice breakfast of home baked sweets, boiled eggs, meats and cheese. We had a last minute booking late in the evening. The senora greeted us warmly and walked across the street to open the parking garage for us. We paid for the economy room but I think she upgraded us, as we got a large corner room with wrap around...

Very nice & familiar Hotel in the residental area Orvieto Scalo. If you stopover in Orvieto it´s perfect, because very short Approach from the autostrada, but it is located quiet. Also breakfast very nice.

The first thing that struck us was the excellent welcome and helpfulness of the staff. Another strong point of this location is the breathtaking panorama almost from a film where there is a good-sized swimming pool overlooking the panorama. The view of Orvieto is very beautiful, which is about ten minutes away by car, making this place very accessible. Our room, very similar to the surrounding ones...

Very nice place, surrounded by greenery, with a wonderful view of Orvieto. Friendly staff and spacious, clean rooms equipped with every comfort (including a huge bathtub in the bathroom). The structure has a spa, an outdoor swimming pool (with a view of Orvieto) and an internal restaurant (we didn't try it, but the breakfast is good and with excellent variety).

We loved staying at Grand Hotel Italia. The location was perfect, close to everything. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was large with a great balcony with views over both the city and countryside. The breakfast was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights.

Nice Hotel in a very good location (very central). Friendly staff, good room and breakfast was also ok. In general a good place to stay for your visit in Orvieto.

Just stopped in to visit friends who were staying there. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful, lobby clean and inviting. Our friends room was nice with a balcony and a great view.

Lovely old Palazzo on the main road near the square. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room with view, good breakfast.

I stayed here with my study abroad group and was impressed with the beauty of the hotel. The breakfast was lovely, there's a more romantic front dining room and study/meeting room, plus a sitting area with fireplace. They have a bar inside, where you can get coffee and drinks. The rooms were nice, and ours had a tiny balcony which was sweet. Location is great, everything is nearby.

Fantastic location, walking distance to a lot of interesting places in Orvieto, not enough cars going nearby to make any noticeable noise. Only noticeable noise is the church bells throughout the city. Rooms are comfortable and clean, but due to the historical building can vary. Food is limited but good quality. WiFi is passable, low resolution steaming and Skype are possible. Conference space is good...

Finding the hotel. We were walking so had no driver to help and the grand hotel Italia is not the same as the grand hotel which is round the corner and closed. We were very worried until a lovely lady enlightened us

Hotel La Pergoletta

Good location close to the train station, ideal if you are just staying for a short visit. The room was worn down and looked a bit shabby, but towels and linen were very clean. Breakfast was more than expected and quite good. Very friendly, helpful and professional receptionist who answered all our questions.

The hotel is very cheap but the service is as good as simple. The attendants were very kind and available. Location is also good, being close to both the highway and the Orvieto parking.

Great staff members, specially Martina. Very helpful. Room had a good size and the bathroom - albeit small - was good. Overall, extreme value for the price. Great to come out of the rail station, walk a few meters and drop your luggage. No issues with transportation: easy to reach funicular, bus lines (to Bagnoregio, Viterbo, etc). Great surprise, really don't now why the hotel's evaluation is not...

The rooms are not very large but are very comfortable, considering the prices. Nice view from the windows and the hotel is near any kind of public transport, useful to reach any place of the city.

Good tasting menu am Breakfast . There should be hot water pool outside as the water was cold when I visited in early September. It was Difficult to find the room

Really loved this place. Food and wines were great. Staff was awesome, particularly the Sommelier Roberto. Only losing 1 star from me because the climate control in the rooms was just not good enough. That’s the only blemish here. I highly recommend Altarocca.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights during our honeymoon. It is beautiful and peaceful but a short drive from Orvieto. Great views from the room, breakfast, and the pool. I would definitely stay here again. The staff was a pleasure.

Everything here is breathtaking and breakfast was amazing. By far the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had in Italy! Definitely worth every penny. Rooms are clean, homely and rustic. Staffs were pleasant, especially the Chef who was very attentive and checked on the guests during breakfast. Wished we could have stayed here a little longer. PS: they do have wine tasting and food pairing in the hotel...

The Wine Resort is great to relax and enjoy the nature. We had a suite with a spectacular view over part of the wine resort. Two pools and a Spa make the stay even more enjoyable. I can definitely recommend the wine tasting.

Orvieto has become a favorite destination of mine on an Italian get away. I have stayed at Hotel Duomo on three separate occasions and I am impressed by the consistent quality, clean and comfortable rooms and wonderful owners and hosts. The hotel is adorned with local art and has a relaxing patio. Breakfast is included and coffee is made fresh at every cup. I do not know why I would stay anywhere else...

Excellent location. Renovated rooms. Comfortable bed. Clean a spacious room. Great service. You can go directly the hotel and they park your car.

Convenient location easy to find and literally right next to the Duomo. The shuttle from the Ferniculare drops you off right by the hotel. Steep staircase however down to the hotel. Room was large with balcony and very clean. Staff is professional and it is a family run hotel. Good value for the price.
