Where to stay in Orvieto

Great location. The hotel is pretty fine but the mattress was terrible, felt like sleeping on a cardboard. Couldn’t sleep the whole night. Would be great to change it.

Very pleasant tourist class hotel with a great location. I think we paid $75 euro in nov ‘19. Great value for the money. 3 star property but 5 stars for value. Nothing fancy for sure but very clean and met all our needs. Staff was very helpful with advice for a day trip to Civita

Our stay here was very pleasant. The hotel is centrally located, perfect for visiting all the sites. The rooms were decent size and very clean. The beds in Italy all seem to be the same so no complaints there. The owner was very polite and professional. I would definitely give this place a try if passing through.

The little Hotel Corso is an hidden gem at Orvieto. All the staff sere friendly, the room was impeccable. Located near the funicular.

The hotel was in the centre of the old town of Orvieto so we had easy access to all the sights. The staff were friendly and gave us clear instructions on where to park the car. The room was very comfortable.

The hotel is in a quiet part of Orvieto, close to everything in walking distance. The staff is friendly and always helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The perfect place to stay in this perfect little City.

A unique structure of its kind. It offers you the opportunity to live a night in the Middle Ages. The halls, the tower, the courtyard. Elegantly renovated. Waking up in the morning with the view towards Orvieto is very nice. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Also very nice to have breakfast in the garden. I would like to suggest possibly a breakfast of a more appropriate level to the rates...

The hotel is located in a beautiful spot with nature all around. It's very peaceful here and you are just 5 minutes away from the centre of orvieto. The rooms are comfortable and the batch room is nice and big.

Nice italien atmosphere. Nice rooms with a well equiped bathroom. Slept well. Airco is adjustable at the airco to accelerate the fan!! Swiming pool with a terrace. Bought a bottle of Orvieto White wine. Broke a glass. No problem! Ate in Orvieto. Drove by car. IT is too far to Walk when you leave late. I recommend this hotel. I hope the personal attitude stays.

I love this hotel. My husband has come here with students for 8 years. I have accompanied him twice. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent. Breakfasts superb. We spent 2 weeks there and I miss it already. It feels like home.

Very fortunate to get the last two rooms at this small hotel situated in the prime position of the Piazza del Duomo. Very modern little hotel. Sparkly clean and attractive. Again staff were warm and helpful. I would recommend.

Great location on Duomo side in an ancient historical square. Beautiful in daylight, emotional during night time. The personnel is really very very kind and helped us in all way even I found some problem to find a spot to park the car. The hotel level is average, it's clean and tidy. Helpful, friendly and English-speaking staff. Tiny rooms with wonderful views of the Duomo. You're not supposed to take your room key with you, which I find very odd but isn't a problem. Rooms have stocked mini fridges; no prices are posted but I'm pretty sure those aren't complimentary so know what you're getting into.

Great location. Had a great view of the Duomo and surrounding piazza. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was decent: yogurt, pastries, granola, fruit, bread, juice, etc. Would stay again.

The placeis a gem, also very, friendly and helpful, had an accicent while in Orvietto, and the owners went out of their way to help

The villa is nice. The people were nice. In a great area away from the buddy area. They need to have a better breakfast. There were simple things they didn't have and when you asked, no we don't have it. The price isn't cheap there.

We stayed there for the night at the Area Camper and we liked it a lot. Well organized place for campers with the source of fresh water, place to leave grey water, take a bath. Quiet at night, surrounded by nature. Owners very kind and helpful. 5-star stay with a camper for those who like nature and cozy place on the way.

The first thing that struck us was the excellent welcome and helpfulness of the staff. Another strong point of this location is the breathtaking panorama almost from a film where there is a good-sized swimming pool overlooking the panorama. The view of Orvieto is very beautiful, which is about ten minutes away by car, making this place very accessible. Our room, very similar to the surrounding ones...

Very nice place, surrounded by greenery, with a wonderful view of Orvieto. Friendly staff and spacious, clean rooms equipped with every comfort (including a huge bathtub in the bathroom). The structure has a spa, an outdoor swimming pool (with a view of Orvieto) and an internal restaurant (we didn't try it, but the breakfast is good and with excellent variety).

Everything was perfect - nice personnel, big and comfortable rooms, terraces at the rooms, breakfast, garage and location - close to the city, but have to climb the hill. We liked this hotel very much and reccomend it to other travellers who travel by car.

Nice quiet hotel with friendly staff. Only giving 4 stars as breakfast was only cake...but that said it was very nice. Would most certainly visit again. Parking was on road side but quiet area so not a problem. They do offer a secure garage though for 5 euro if you wanted. Room was lovely!

Excellent small hotel on quiet street. Very near train station and funicular to old town. Nice breakfast of home baked sweets, boiled eggs, meats and cheese. We had a last minute booking late in the evening. The senora greeted us warmly and walked across the street to open the parking garage for us. We paid for the economy room but I think she upgraded us, as we got a large corner room with wrap around...

Very nice & familiar Hotel in the residental area Orvieto Scalo. If you stopover in Orvieto it´s perfect, because very short Approach from the autostrada, but it is located quiet. Also breakfast very nice.

This old fashion hotel is a real paradise for the vintage lovers. Fast check-in, big room, clean toilet, marble stairs have been very appreciated. Paddle court, church, big parking lot and many more amenities are sign features of this hotel. Remember it's in Sferracavallo not Orvieto, but this has been a plus for me cause parking in Orvieto city centre is impossible.

Clean, good parking, decent breakfast. A bit run down. Shower cabin is tiny. There is a chapel that forms an integral part of the main lobby, but it is no longer in use, a bit sad to see.

Very nice place with a lovely staff and service

Nice, quiet and comfortable hotel near Orvieto, Italy, a very unique a picturesque city built on a rocky hill. The rooms are large and have wifi. The breakfast was good, providing a good variety of food.

Clean comfortable and large rooms helpful hotel staff. Ample parking space in the hotel grounds. The only problem we came across was the approach from the main road especially arriving at night.

We stayed here for one night because of passing through during the covid-19 pandemic. The hotel is nice and especially clean. They payed very much attention for the cleanliness needed during this crisis. (Using gloves, mask and sanitisers) Also it was the only hotel open during with very few customers...

Great place. Great value for money. One of the friendliest staff we've met. Although the place is older, you can see that the owners really take great care of it. Especially in details.

Good location close to the train station, ideal if you are just staying for a short visit. The room was worn down and looked a bit shabby, but towels and linen were very clean. Breakfast was more than expected and quite good. Very friendly, helpful and professional receptionist who answered all our questions.

The hotel is very cheap but the service is as good as simple. The attendants were very kind and available. Location is also good, being close to both the highway and the Orvieto parking.

The rooms are not very large but are very comfortable, considering the prices. Nice view from the windows and the hotel is near any kind of public transport, useful to reach any place of the city.

A super location, close to the things we wanted to see and do. It was easy to find, and an impressive old building. The room was new looking inside, the bathroom clean and modern. Breakfast was a standard continental breakfast served in an attractive room.

This is a great place to stay, ask them about the history of the hotel. It is well located, and we found it easy to find. We stayed in room 4 which is large with toilet and shower, and outside the window is a magnificient magnolia tree which is over 100 years old..huge.. Breakfast is included in the price which we found to be very competitive. the selection was excellant and the very hot coffee.....

Conveniently located hotel, although parking is a bit of a walk. Good sound insulation with the outside, less between the rooms. Accessibility a little affected by the presence of external and internal steps. Average breakfast. Honest prices.

Easy to reach, next to the highway and high speed railway. Must have your own car to move around since public transport is lacking.

Passing through for one night. However decent hotel, some things to improve, like dust in the corridors. Large and clean room, minimal and essential furniture, but the bathroom is really too small. Excellent breakfast, the homemade tart really good. Overall decent property, nice, friendly and helpful staff, I would stay here again.

Helpful and kind staff. It is very clean, well organized, and tastefully decorated. The location of the hotel is absolutely strategic, very close to the motorway exit, getting there is very simple. Of course it is not an exclusive or panoramic area, but it is absolutely excellent for the simplicity with which you can park if you are traveling by car and it is very convenient if you stop to make a stop...
