I booked a visit to Le Carrube in August as part of a wedding party. Unfortunately, I was unable to travel because of an unexpected illness. The matter was handled extremely well and sympathetically and included a personal call from The Manager Eugenio Pugliese. So impressive. Le Carrube has a sister hotel in Chelsea, San Domenico House and I will certainly be paying a visit.

When we first arrived, we were a bit dissapointed. The Masseria is beautiful and staff is really friendly. But the rooms afe old. A delightful 3 day stay in a modern spacious room with a fun, quirky yet elegant country cottage feeling.. Staff are very hospitable and the food excellent. The grounds are spectacular and provide a real sense of the Italian and Ostuni countryside.

In the middle of an olive grove, Lama di Galizia offers a fantastic chance to rest and enjoy the most the beauty of this region of the Italy. Terrific location close to Ostuni and amazing olive farm with modern guest accommodation. The staff were helpful professional and very courteous, always assisting with directions or answering questions.
