Fabulous hotel in Ostuni which is very central to many of the Puglia sites and in a great accessible location. The service is impeccable. Kudos to Grazziano who made sure to satisfy all our special requests. Gabriel and Paula provided a warm welcome and professional service. The hotel parking is right across the street which is a major advantage to this hotel. The breakfast is superb. Shout out to lovely Antionette who provided excellent service. The rooftop restaurant looks amazing even though we didn’t eat there. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the historic center and is about 6 miles from the main road, which passes through the most beautiful olive groves ever seen.

Excellent service and friendly staff. The hotel itself has panoramic views of the old city and is within walking distance of many restaurants.

This amazing hotel has a great location over looking the white city of ostuni. We had a lovely experience and stay in this outstanding place. Everything about it was perfect: stuff, service, location, rooms, breakfast and lovey rooftop restaurant for a fine cuisine, view and comfort.

As a hospitality professional myself, I'm always scrutinizing the details. But I I have to say that Hotel Monte Sarago exceeded my expectations in every way! The staff were uniformly amazing – friendly, polite, and attentive.
Special thanks to Maria, Paola, Teresa, Leonardo, Gabriele, and Graziano for making my stay truly unforgettable.
And let's not forget the delicious breakfast spread – the perfect way to start each day!

This was the second last destination of our 7 week honeymoon and both my husband and I were completely blown away with not only our apartment , the view of old town Ostuni, but also the hospitality and warmth of all the staff.
The restaurant was also an absolute standout!
We both had a few of the luxury treatments at Lacus Spa, Silvana and her staff were incredible and also very accommodating.
I’ve been to many spa’s but nothing like this space. It’s tranquil and earthy feel, almost like it’s been built into a rock below the hotel, this place is a must!
Not to mention the hotels great location, only a 10 minute walk to the city centre (if that!)

Even though the hotel is near a high speed road, the staying was great ! It's only 6min away from the city center by walk, the rooms are really nice and clean, and most of all the front desk people are very professional and good advisors !

We booked a room through the hotel website. For some reason, our booking was registered and prepaid the very same night we booked the room instead of 20 days later when we actually planned to visit. Of course, the hotel did not contact us on that day when we did not turn up. Why care, since the room was prepaid?
I realised the mistake prior to traveling to Italy, and tried to get the booking corrected. To no avail, even though the night the room was wrongly booked was in the lowest of the low season, just as the country was reopening for tourism after Covid confinment.
They only "generously" conceded to offer us a 10% discount for "rebooking" the very same room I had already paid for. Instead of looking forward to our trip to Puglia, we weres just left with the terrible sad feeling of being ripped off.
They visibly could not resist making easy money on the back of foolish foreign tourists, knowing they are left with no recourse against them.

The hotel is modern and business like, and the friendly and helpful staff give it character. It's just a few minutes' walk from the centre of the town too.

The hotel seemed to be nice but on this occasion there had been a storm and the power had to be turned off do the technicians could do some work. Once the power problem was fixed it took a very long time for the air conditioning to return, this made the rooms very uncomfortable. We only stayed the one night and could only judge the hotel by this experience.
