Rocco Forte Masseria Torre Maizza Hotel

We have just returned from a fabulous 7 night stay at Masseria Torre Maizza. We absolutely loved it and were made to feel so welcome - special mention to Fortunata who had excellent front of house skills and gave us really good local advice. All the other staff were excellent too - they seemed to take pride in their jobs and genuinely wanted to give us an amazing holiday! The hotel is beautiful and peaceful and the bedrooms are exceedingly comfortable and beautifully decorated with exquisite ceramics. We loved the Bambu Beach Club - the sunbeds on the beach were very comfortable and our lunches were delicious! We have come home feeling refreshed and thoroughly pampered. There is no doubt we will return to this hotel - there is absolutely nothing that needs improving - it is PERFECT! Thank you to the Hotel Manager for running an excellent hotel!

Lovely, spacious room, gracious staff and excellent restaurant and bar. I especially loved how quiet and peaceful our room was. The gazpacho at the pool restaurant was another highlight. Thank you for a relaxing few days at your beautiful hotel.

Our first trip to Puglia. The hotel is in a very upscale rural setting. We had a very nice villa with a private pool and our own outdoor terrace. The property offers lots of privacy, not a big hotel feel, but a private villa along a golf course vibe. It is located between Bari and Brindisi, very easy to get the different towns in Puglia.

We had an amazing stay and unfortunately it was only for two nights. Concierges were amazing before and during the stay. Upon check in. We were upgraded to a suite with a pool. Room was extremely comfortable and best shower. Carmen at the bar was so fun to be with. One night we were only ones in bar, and he still played until we left. He is so much fun and a nice way to end the evening. We didn’t have a car and the hotel was able to shuttle us to dinner and to go to Borgo Egnazia . We had lunch there and then a tour of the property. It is impressive but felt lost the personal touches and authenticity that Rocco Forte offers. If I had young children though. this might be better option as they have an extensive kids program. Had the olive oil experience at the spa. It was amazing and felt pricing was fair for a resort. The massage was just as good as what I get at home. Book in advance as spa only has two rooms. Breakfast was extensive and everything you want. Ate one night at restaurant and unfortunately we were still too full from lunch. The kitchen happily made us minestrone soup that was delicious and perfect. I also liked how the resort adds a discretionary 5 percent tip off of room rate at end of stay. I loved this as you didn’t have to worry about tipping staff and felt that everyone got equally taken care of. Would love to go back!!!

The Hotel Masseria Torre Maizza is a gem in Apulia. We have been coming here for 5 years now and we are always impressed by the magic of this hotel. Each room has its own charm, sometimes with a pool or a garden. The view of the countryside and the sea is unique. The family atmosphere makes this place a very special experience. The hotel has a fantastic pool with an outdoor restaurant. The hotel director Franco Girasoli and his entire team make you feel like you are part of the Roccoforte family. Here you experience 5 star service from its best. Pure luxury.

My wife and I totally enjoyed our 5 night stay at this wonderful property. Everything was perfect. The rooms, staff, restaurants, and activities were ideal. The concierge desk at this hotel made our stay even more enjoyable. Pasquale and Fortunado deserve extra praise for being so helpful, courteous, and just plain fun. We loved our time at the hotel. I recently stayed at this beautiful hotel in Italy, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Fortunato, who was very helpful and kind. He gave us great advice and made us feel very comfortable right away.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and everything is very comfortable. Our room had a lovely view, and we really enjoyed waking up every morning in such a nice place.

We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, and the food was incredible. Danilo, was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. His service was excellent and made our dinner even more special.

We also spent time at the hotel’s bar, where we enjoyed some entertainment by Carmelo. He made sure everyone was having a good time. Fabio and Alessio, the bartenders, made fantastic drinks and were very friendly. They really know how to make guests feel welcome.

We also had the pleasure of meeting Ariana, the housekeeper, who was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure our room was always spotless and that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Additionally, Silvia, the receptionist, was a wonderful help. She speaks Portuguese, which made communication so much easier for my mum. Silvia was very attentive and even helped us resolve a car issue in less than an hour. Both ladies were lovely and made our stay even more enjoyable with their warm personalities and excellent service.

Overall, this hotel has great hospitality, wonderful service, and a beautiful atmosphere. I will definitely come back and highly recommend it !

This hotel is simply awesome. The tranquility , the service, the food and the locale just amazing Our suite with private pool was stunning and the experience in the restaurant on both nights were perfect. Direct flights from Edinburgh to Bari with a 50 minute transfer make it an easy weekend break destination

The staff goes above and beyond on every aspect of customer service. Our friend Pasquale even went as far as making some home made Aloe to heal my daughter’s sunburn.

That was only one example. Just amazing!
