Hotel Sierra Silvana

The service and the concierge were excellent. Staff were always available, polite and went the extra mile to always help us and accommodate us. Rooms were always cleaned to high standards. Food was excellent especially the bakery and patisserie. A particular note about Antonio, the bar manager who was always prompt, friendly and had a great sense of humour! Excellent cocktails too!

A smaller hotel compared to many but filled with charm and well layed out. Lovely gardens and large pool kept clean. Rooms were spotless in in fact the whole place was. Staff were amazing, we became particularly fond of the lovely gentleman at the bar.
Drinks all very reasonable and bar snacks too. Shuttle to the beach which is just 20 or so minutes with use of sister hotel. Some lovely restaurants and bars just a few minutes walk away and mini markets too. For a relaxing get away couldn't fault it

Price is OK. So are the rooms. Building looks like the remains some fancy Russian hotel from the 80-ies. Some kids and tons of dancing elder people. Fantastic old guy at the bar. Staff in the reception is nice, not so nice at the reasturant. Food is soso.

I try to have good reason to give not-great reviews. When a place is inexpensive and in need of significant renovation, I understand that it’s not possible. However, this hotel was fine but can put into place basic customer service improvements. Some of the staff were frankly quite rude and unaccommodating. For example, we asked if we could eat our breakfast outside to decrease covid risk we were simply told “no”. Other staff were great. The grounds were nice enough for the price, and the rooms were also acceptable for the price level though beds were uncomfortable and air conditioning not great given the last Steve heat. The region has many, much more intimate and character-full Masseria that I would guess are likely to be be more thoughtful about providing service. If you’re looking for a basic inexpensive hotel with a nice pool and nice grounds, and can look past not-great service, this place will be just fine.
