My train was late, but the hotel was fine accepting my later check-in, and they did not mind keeping my luggage locked up the next day, while I viewed the town. Stayed here a few times for work. The hotel itself is a bit old, but the staff is always really nice and helpful with me.

The hotel was nice and the room was clean. Close enough to the train station and the highway. The service was also quite good.

Great, reasonably priced hotel with a very good restaurant. The rooms are clean and they have secure parking. The front office and owners speak English.

Rooms acceptable, even if quite old - but not so clean. Warm welcoming, appreciated, and restaurant is very good. One important improvement could be the way to indicate the entrance : difficult to find by night. Didn't go to the spa and swimming pool so no comments on that.

Good resort. Accommodation is spacious and customer service is good. Breakfast was also good. One of the biggest let downs was dinner. Wine offered was rubbish and dinner is sub standard. Waiters did not know how to serve properly. Avoid dinner service at all costs.

Historical place, great location. Do not use Google map to drive here because it will direct you to the parking lot behind the cathedral. Call hotel to get driving direction first.

It's more a luxury Bed.and.Breakfast than an hotel. They give you keys of the street door because there is no attendance at night. The place has only 6 guest apartment rooms sharing a huge lounge. The hotel is located a few hundred metres from Pavia railway station. The staff are friendly and will try their best to assist. The hotel has a convenient location. Ask for the room facing the square. The garage is a little hard to use since you have to ask the staff to open it any time you come/go. Besides that, the hotel team is amiable and helpful, and we have a lovely time on our 4-day business trip to Pavia. Excellent service, thank you!

Rooms are large enough. People are very kind and very helpful. It is in walking distance to Old City, Pavia cathedral and university. Breakfast was OK, not perfect. Hotel has private parking area (not free), you need to ask to use. Otherwise it will be difficult to find parking lot outside.

Really nice. A nice surprise: a flat floor walk in shower. Good breakfast. Up to date room. Great value. On this trip I have moved fast. This and the NH in Torino and one in Arras are the best of 11 hotels I have been in in two weeks. In those 3 I was made to feel welcome.

Was positively the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in ! Staff were so friendly and the facilities were top notch. Situated right next to the train station, it was a short trip to Milan but why bother when you have the wonderful city of Pavia on your doorstep ! Will definitely go again and would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Pavia.

Hotel is old style. Certainly not 4 star, that is incorrect. Room is small and basic but comfortable. Walls paper thin, I can hear the person listening to TV in next room and guy on the phone in other room. Rooms and common areas are ok, no problems with anything or anyone. Extremely friendly and collaborative management.

There is everything you need for a few days staying: hair dryer, shampoo, shower gel, fresh bed and towels, a TV. The stuff is friendly and kind. We should have come to check in in the afternoon but we came earlyer so we found this nice message with the keys inside. Highly recommended

We have lived here for one year and we loved it. Carlotta and Rosy are really sweet and friendly, helping us in every need. It is located in a quieter zone in Pavia, near supermarkets, cafes and restaurants, but not too far from the center (we could reach the central station in 25 minutes walking, and reach the center in about 18/20 minutes). As I am an international student, it is not the kind of place that came at mind in the first place, since the price is a little higher then an average student accommodation and the place doesn't really look like a student place. But for this higher price you get an amazing service, from weekly washed bedlinen and towels to Rosy having an answer on every question and trouble imaginable when arriving...

I´ve spend 5 amazing months in La Sfera, the apartement is well equipped and the staff Carlota & Rosy are really friendly and helpfull. If you search for a good place in Pavia, stop searching you found one now!

Excellent location for visiting the city centre. Nice new clean rooms (totally 2 rooms). Fiamma (the host) is kind and helpful. Parking is free from 19 till 8 in the morning & 12:30 till 14:30. Other hours only 1.2 EUR for one hour.

Room was very spacious and really modern, the bed was big and super comfortable. The room was light, it had two windows. Everything was really clean, there was AC, and lots of free drinking water (and coffee) which was really great because the weather was really warm. The contact with the host was really great, they were super fast to reply and also really accommodating to my last minute changing...

It is located on the mezzanine floor of an apartment building where they probably created private rooms with bathrooms and a shared room with three breakfast tables and a corner equipped with a coffee machine, biscuits and jam from a single apartment. The solution is optimal for spending a weekend, in the room the wardrobe is small but the room is equipped with TV and mini bar with bottles of water...

Very nice bed and breakfast with a well-stocked library also available for guests. The owner is very nice and helpful. The room, renovated over the years, I found it comfortable and spacious with an excellent bathroom and is complete with TV, air conditioning, wifi, coffee maker, fridge (I certainly forgot something, for the sake of brevity I won't add anything else). We spend one night at Residence Il Cascinetto for affordable 63.- euro as a stopover from Genua to Germany. The apartment had one bedroom with a double bed and a very spacious kitchen / dining / living room. The rooms and equipments were all very clean and the host family very friendly. If I were to stay for a longer time in Pavia (say for a business trip) Il Cascinetto would be a very good option...

The room was clean, would like a bit cleaner bathroom. Brakfast wasn't that good compared to other Italian places I visited. Kind staff. An ad says that they speak English but the guy was a bit older and we were just waving our hands. Probably other people were busy attending other stuff.

Fantastic B & B! I stopped at this landlord for a couple of days for health problems being very close to San Matteo and I had a great time. Large rooms, bright and, above all, spotless! There is everything included in the price: internet, breakfast, bike rental. The owners are really friendly people and willing to help you in everything.
