We stayed between New Year's and Epiphany, super heated rooms, excellent service. Attention to detail, delicious breakfasts, with homemade and abundant products. Friendliness and availability. Fully satisfied.
I really liked it, starting from the courtesy and kindness of Mrs. Patrizia, to the location, practically in the center, a stone's throw from everything and without forgetting the cleanliness of the room. Excellent breakfast every day a different dessert.
Moreover, bottles of water, fruit juices and yogurt available (included in the price). The only "neo" A small air conditioner would not hurt.
A fantastic place but lots of stairs to get to it. No good for people with limited mobility.
Stayed for one night off-season (late November.) Great location by a square in the ancient village. Very recently renovated and clean interior with a nice bathroom and friendly proprietor.

Beautiful! Spacious. Very well appointed. But come with light luggage as there is no access by car and many steps. The price you pay for authenticity. The owners obviously love their business and are reinvesting every penny into adding more 19th century frills to the place.
Amazing and cozy place to stay. The host is so super friendly and the breakfast was delicious.
Too bad we just stayed one night:)

The rooms are very nice, the small terrace is nice, the owner is quite available but not at all (for example she charged 20 € to wash the mattress cover because the child has been peeing in bed), breakfast is normal, there are no typical products, but the owner brought us fresh fruit every day, the location very beautiful, keep in mind that there is a three-story staircase to be done with very high...
Starting point for my coast to coast cycling trip in Liguria. Dolceacqua is definitely worth a visit, and the B&B dei Doria is worthy of consideration if you pass by there. Excellent breakfast and rest assured. Excellent advice for where to eat and where to go. This is also needed! If I can, the only drawback, but it is certainly a problem that you will find in all the houses in the historic center...
Great welcome. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a terrace directly accessible from the bedroom.
Lots of choice at breakfast.
Please note that there is no elevator in these typical buildings.
The city is very pleasant, you can stroll through these small streets before going to drink your aperitif in the bars on the main square.
I recommend.
A cordial and kind hostess introduces us to a bright, welcoming B&B, with attention to the smallest details. The whole presents a crescendo of solid harmony that only the hands of an artist could compose and give away.
A piece of the old village, revisited and modern, which gives you access to a lovely terrace overlooking the old town.

Unfortunately we were the only four people in the restaurant on a Friday night. It was a bit chilly and the waiter was over attentive, not surprisingly. The food is quite interesting, very copious and of mediocre quality.

Really nice place and nice family. It's tricky to find and access but once you're there it's great. You get a whole 2 bed house to yourself. Breakfast is basic but pleasant and there are nice views from the balcony where you can take breakfast

Awesome!! Clean, spacious apartment with large balcony. Lovely pool, good tennis court and friendly helpful staff. In addition to super nice small towns, also larger cities all within 30min. accessible by car.
Quiet place, excellent apartment, with terrace. Swimming pool, tennis, table tennis, five-a-side football. A bit 'of anxiety only for the narrow streets and parking in the structure. But because we are not used to the narrow streets it is uphill. The important thing is to find relaxation.
Made us all feel so welcome when the Tartan Army arrived in Italia 90 ⚽
Nice place to stay clean apartment friendly owner good swimming pool. Good for short family holiday. With trips around. Just seaside it's far from here you need use car. Close distance to Monaco and Cannes.

A really special place! The view is beautiful and the accomodation is cozy with a romantic touch that makes you feel comfortable. Watching the stars by night is a must! The host Alessio is really welcoming and gave a lot of recommendation. If you don't mind walking more than 30 minutes you don't need a car but if you want to be more flexible I recoomend to come by car.
It is as I expected it. An unfashionable place, with a beautiful view, a garden with lots of seats to read a book, a friendly owner to have a good chat with. The only flaw is the slightly narrow road to climb, but after the first time it doesn't worry anymore.
Located in a very quiet position, but difficult to access due to the narrow road with curves and hairpin bends. Personally I found this property very suitable for my pets and the owner was also very hospitable and willing to help me when I needed it.

Beautiful view from a terrace. In the house we had a fridge and coffee, terrace with table and chairs, where you can make your own breakfast, therefore it was perfect for us! The house on the hilltop, mind the narrow road to the top.
Very nice agriturismo, the room with sea view is splendid! And the large terrace is very pleasant to contemplate the view from the deckchairs.
The hosts are very nice and provide good advice, especially for the restaurant.
Charming and spacious bedroom, with a dressing room. Easy parking. Be careful though, the roads to get there are narrow / winding, typical of Italy, you have to be careful.
Nice restored house with beautiful views of the sea. Alessio looks after you well. A lovely place to stay.
Up on the hillside with nice sight. Tiny but nice apartman equipped with everything we needed for a one week stay.

Well run and immaculately clean and well looked after site. We visited out of season in October and the restaurant on site was closed but it is only ten minutes walk to the harbour or town centre, depending on which side of the river you walk down. Just over the border from France so perfect for that last, or first, plate of pasta. The gate is closed between 7pm and 8am which is fine for most people...
A cosy and clean place for camping lovers. Helpful staff, delicious pizza, affordable prices. A bit far from clean beaches. Near the railroad.
Great communication via email as we were driving from Pisa. Lovely little site, very tight for our caravan, glad we had a moover! Cold beer in the bar after an interesting drive!
Just off the motorway so perfect for a one night stop en route.
Lovely campsite. Very clean and well kept. The staff were all super friendly and helpful which was fab as we had broken down in our camper and they helped us with translations and contact with the garage. Highly recommend.
Expensive, loud. You pay extra to charge your phone and extra for few minutes of hot water. There's no toilet paper at the toilets. Loud train and donkeys just behind your tent. It's not worh it. The staff speaks English and is helpful though, unfortunately without a smile.

The location, the view from the terasse, the room as well as the service were amazing! Assal (i hope that is the right way to pronounce his name? was very kind, welcomed me and made my stay very pleasant. My request for plant based milk for breakfast and vegetarian options was taken into account and i really enjoyed spending a night and a morning there.
The B&B is on top of a hill in the old part of town and is not convenient to the beach or the train station but you totally feel like a local staying here and it is amazingly quaint. The room is clean and the bathroom renovated and the owners are friendly and nice and the rooftop terrace where the breakfast is served is the just plain awesome.
This is an amazing place. A beautiful old world way of staying in Ventimiglia. It's out of this world. Amazing breakfast. Amazing rooms. 100% recommended.

We had a great stay - everything really nice. The accomodation is spacious, confortable, well situated and stunning - beautiful settings in a fascinating building. Castel d'Appio was a wonderful place to spend the night. They were extremely helpful, especially when we had trouble getting a cab from the train station to the hotel - they arranged it for us. We had to leave super early in the morning and they again saw to it that there was a taxi at the hotel for us, despite the few that are in the town. It's surrounded by lovely vistas, the room was comfortable...
We booked last minute and got a delux room at 279 per night. The room seemed fairly standard to me but did have spectacular views. Overall the hotel was nice and at the standard rate of 90 per night it seems reasonable but at the rate we paid there walkers small details which ruined the experience. One use plastic cups at breakfast, no glass wear in the room, a message on the fridge stating it was...

We visited this place many years ago. A real find. Stunning views. Beautiful rooms all combined with a friendly almost treat you like family hospitality. I recall it was tricky to find without satnav- but once up there its well worth it.
