Nice hotel in a really great place. We lived in a quadruple room with sea view in August, conditions were good, the main minus - a refrigerator absence (which is a must-have in a hot place like Ospedaletti). The staff was very helpful. They had hot water, but not ice (and no fridge 😞 ). Breakfasts were usual for Italy - ham, cheese, bread, eggs, jam and etc.

We came from France driving motocycles and booked the place at the very last minute, were very surprised! Good vibes, amazing view, quiet and beautiful place. The breakfast is only 7€ and you can have a lot of different dishes, I really recommend it! Special mention to the receptionist who's super nice!

It was interesting to stay in a hotel from the 19th century. Although the years have left their mark, the hotel is charming with a beautiful view of the sea. The gentleman and lady who work at the hotel were very kind and nice.

This was amazing! Great hotel! I would love to come back here next year. You probably want to know I want to come back here. The pool is amazing. The food is amazing. It's not even cheap or expensive. It's marvelous!

We stayed at the Hotel Petit Royal with b&b accommodation. The hotel is located in a strategic point with breathtaking views and easy access to the beach via stairs that lead directly to the seafront. The staff was friendly and willing to promptly satisfy our requests. Unfortunately the structure requires renovation/modernization. The room that hosted us was spacious but there was somewhat dated furniture...

The structure on the outside gives a sense of antiquity but inside it is dilapidated especially the bathrooms which are dated and there is a smell of sewage. The breakfast is quite good and the maitre, an Albanian gentleman, is very friendly

A great holiday in this hotel which enjoys a wonderful seafront location. Each room with a view of a wonderful and transparent sea. A salt water swimming pool available and, for those who love rocky coasts, a pebble beach immediately next to the hotel. But I think the photos speak for themselves. Thanks to Mr. Raffaele for the wonderful hospitality!

Hotel and people are great. Only if you go before the season starts there could be facilities closed like the swimming pool. This should be mention on the hotel site. But there is a pebble beach that we used. Difficult to swim becos of all the rocks but just relaxing on a big rock half in the water was wel worth it.

Best hotel in the area. Staff is great and makes you feel welcomed and at home. The view on the sea is amazing. They have an internal pool with sea water that they pump, fikter and clean from the sea available for use all day. Definitely recommended, I will go back with my girlfriend for sure 👌

Cheap alternative for a couple on a road trip. You get good value for money. Nice small place - a bit less tourists than neighbouring towns - which are only a short bike ride away. Bike rentals right outside the hotel.

Overall okay, comfortable beds with sea view however extremely dated hotel with some funny features such as the room numbers being incorrect on the doors for the matching keys

beautiful house, fantastic place, breathtaking landscape, a flaw? it happened to me that to throw out the garbage I had to go out with the car and do about 2KM feeling dired from the ecological platform "there are the bins" after explaining the problem they collected my bags For what I paid it is not an ideal service

The owner Laura & Lorenzo is such a warm and welcoming host. Shops, cafes, restaurants, bank and etc are just within a kilometer or two away. Lorenzo has suggested us a good eatery and restaurants in Sanremo. The beach is about 1km by foot and 2km by car as informed. We arrived at 21:50 without reservation, the woman at the reception desk was extremely hospitable and even offered us to choose between rooms. The hotel has gotten a little old but bathrooms are impeccable and the requested prices (April 11th 2024) was more than adequate.

Rooms overall were pretty good, just pretty dated, could use a bit of a renovation. Balcony (6th floor) was really great, big and awesome view. Breakfast was ok, coffee pretty good and staff was really friendly. Parking was also nice, pretty protected behind the hotel and most of the day in the shade.

This hotel is like an old lady. She’s a bit faded and not what she used to be, but you need to respect her for her knowledge and experience. Great place to stay! Sea is amazing and staff is friendly!

The hotel offers the option of staying in a room with breakfast included in the morning, or in an apartment located across the street from the hotel. I came to relax and enjoy two weeks at the seaside. I found the cleanliness impeccable, truly, and the staff kind and helpful. I was half-board and on a diet, and there were no problems preparing light meals, always served with a smile. The noise in the room, normal in any Ligurian hotel overlooking the sea, certainly didn't keep me awake at night... The little beach just a few meters away was lovely

Staff were very kind and welcoming. I had a room on the sea side, but unfortunately at the level of the train tracks. Noisy and not a nice view. Trains started after 4am. Could hear person in room above moving around. Disappointed with room. Nespresso machine in room, but had to buy pod at 1€ Walk to upper town or Main Street along busy route.

Check-in is till 8pm, not as given at *******. Then it`s quite difficult to get the access and particularly due to the limitations on ******* message exchanges: the hotel can`t send QR code there visible and non of both sides can send readable email address. Parking was practically not available when I arrived, so I had to search on my own place for my car.

Nice location, noise from other rooms

Nice little hotel down the road from the main stretch of Bordighera, basic and nice. A/c worked great, the hotel was clean, nice little view of the sea and steps from a quiet beach and nice beachfront restaurant. 20 minute walk from the main part of the town. The train is apparent at night but the whole beautiful little city is nearby the train so just put earplugs in if you are so sensitive to it...

They are only a 3 star hotel, but in my books they deserve 5. Ok, some of the rooms are a bit tired, but they are clean. The pool is well looked after. But the food!!! If you like fusion cooking search no further. The chef is a class of its own. The staff is extremly fiendly and helpful. We will come back, that is certain

Excellent hotel, away from the chaos of the seafront and clubs. By car you can reach the motorway or the center of Sanremo in just a few minutes. Spacious and spotless room. Note the extremely kind and helpful staff for every request. The only flaw is the temperature of the shower water, not hot enough.

They treated us well. Whenever we had an issue, the staff was able to help us. The hotel itself is a bit old and way too expensive for the quality standard, but this is probably due to to August. Very good located in the heart of sanremo with a great sea view. The breakfast could definetly be improved as it is not really tasty and rather low quality in our impression.

Unlike many reviews read, the hotel met my expectations: room of adequate size as well as the bathroom. Both premises appeared clean and sanitized. In the room we also found water bottles, welcome dj chocolates and a coffee machine at our disposal included in the price. The only negative note was the breakfast: The products were not fresh, the choice was not very varied and the quality was poor.

The hotel is low priced, you'll get a basic but outdated room. Beds could be better, shower is pretty small. If you don't have high standards and want a cheap room. It's ok.

Beautiful hotel in a typical regional style. Very well located, a 5-minute walk from the beaches and 15 meters from the town center. We have just had another wonderful short stay at the Hotel Belsoggiorno ! Maria and Matteo are always welcoming , friendly and helpful, as are all the staff . It is a traditional family run hotel with excellent breakfasts and dinners , and typical Ligurian food. Nothing is too much trouble , and a stay at this hotel is very relaxing. We will be back !

Not sure what to expect but was surprised to find the room clean. Fresh towels and immaculate toilet. My balcony gave me a brilliant view of the sea. Stunning view really. The staff here are courteous and always ready to help. I will surely come again soon.

In general, our stay was nice. The room was very clean, but very, very, very small. Finding the reception was complicated since we had to register at the Miramar (far from the suites) because there was no one at the reception at the San Remo luxury suites. The included breakfast was out of this world, and we really enjoyed it. I still recommend for a one night stop like we did.

Overnight stay (31/05/25) Driving back to London I asked for a car parking space, which wasn't guaranteed, but I did say I am travelling from London and wanted my vehicle to be secure. Need major renovations but the staff is very friendly and the location is optimal. Sanremo doesn’t have nice beaches but the city center is nice to visit.

Fantastic location. Hotel is faded glamour and is tired. Room nice, view fabulous, air con brilliant, shower 🚿 no water pressure. Breakfast OK. Pool is really lovely. Staff nice. They need to sort the sunbed issue. 10 euros per day is not a solution to not enough sunbeds. Beach is 3 min walk and is very commercialised in San remo. We'd stay again tho.

What must have been a grand Hotel in times gone by, it is now very tired and in need of renovation. A short walk to the beach, it is well situated but not a place I would rush back to.

Nice room yet particularly unfrendly/unhelpfull/unprofessional staff at the desk. Check in was a total disaster (zero eye contact, not even a hello or smile: plus zero information regarding the hotel facilities). And check out was worse.
