We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed our stay! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and food was excellent, especially the breakfast. We didn't try the dinner as there were cheaper options in the town, but the pool bar and piano bar snacks were also very good. Pool area is beautiful and big (including a small private beach) and, at least at the start of September, it felt half empty all the time so you could pretty much choose where ever you want to be. Their gym was also very nice for a hotel gym. Good amount of free weights and other equipment.
Location is perfect if you want peace and privacy, but you really need a car to go anywhere, so rent one or use a taxi/shuttle service.

It was a fantastic location, and we loved the pool area. Very expansive and separate areas for quiet poolside reading and relaxing. They have a lovely rooftop area for drinks and snacks, plus the pianist was lovely. Very quiet and peaceful. We were not looking for evening entertainment or resort activities. This suited us perfectly.

I LOVED staying at Colonna resort, a very nice hotel with good food and INCREDIBLE rooms, I stayed at a suite and it was one of the best rooms I ever stayed at, the staff and workers are very nice especially in the restaurant… they all are very well mannered and a lot are very FINE😍 the waiters are very sweet and there is one that is curly haired was very cute😍😍 he always smiles and waves. All of the waiters were very attentive, me and my sister had issues with a wasp that kept circling us and they all helped us immediately, especially the cute waiter… he saw the wasp and laughed and said avispera and immediately helped us… all the staff speak many languages which is very good, they all speak English some Spanish and of course Italian, one even spoke very good Russian! my sister also spotted a very fine waiter on the bar which said cheers to her in a very attractive way 😍 very lovely they are all very charismatic, overall the stay was very good!!! Everything was great!! The only thing is that in my opinion I wasn’t too fond of the beach there… we also saw a very fast turtle on the last day… it was up a hill and unfortunately it made me trip and a 3 year old rolled down the hill of grass while chasing it, everything was good we laughed it off and touched the turtle… other than that everything was great and the 2 FINE waiters made our stay even better!! ❤️ please give them a RAISE!!!

Everything is spotlessly clean, and the hotel has spacious grounds. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the private beach is absolutely stunning. It’s safe, the food is fantastic, and everything feels just perfect.
I’m truly happy here and already plan to return in September.

A wonderful place to stay. The location was perfect, out of town for peacefulness with the convenience of a shuttle . The service and professionalism was impeccable. Breakfast was fresh, healthy and an abundance of selection. I would offer the suggestion of a paint and linen update for the rooms. Our room was always clean but a bit outdated. The pools and grounds were phenomenal! We enjoyed our stay and will return.

Beautiful resort! Staff are amazing! Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. Food is fantastic. Rooms are beautiful. One recommendation I made to the hotel as they need irons and ironing boards available for hotel guests. And they need ice machines.

Very pleasant stay, high level staff, varied and abundant breakfast. I must say, some reviews make me smile, especially the lack of iron in the room, ridiculous in a five-star hotel to ask for hostel services (especially in an area where fire prevention laws are very strict). I used the laundry which offers an excellent service.
