Reviews
Update: the response at the hotel gave to my review was a lie. They did not offer to upgrade my room for free. I actually paid to upgrade to a premium room which was also significantly worse than the photos that they provided on their website. I even offered to pay premium price to downgrade to a lower room status that had a better view, which they declined. The photos provided are misleading, are false advertising, and do not depict the rooms that you will actually receive. “Pool view” means parking lot view, at this hotel. Don’t take my word for it, read the other reviews about this. The disingenuous response from the hotel is additionally concerning, and you should look elsewhere. When I raised this concern with the hotel, they did not offer any help to me, or offer any concessions. They actually hung up on us when we called and raised these concerns. Don’t be fooled. Their service recovery game is as bad as their value.
Crying babies, yelling people. The symphony of my ‘premium’ night.
They have since ignored all of my calls and emails following up about the poor service. They also made a number of other mistakes that lead to us not being able to play Padel. Breakfast was poorly managed, essentially you have to get there at the start as they don’t monitor what is finished. Cocktails were awful and took 30 mins to make, we had to send them back as they tasted like pure sugar syrup.
Service from staff was terrible, I’d recommend staying nearby rather than at grand hotel, the area is amazing but this hotel is 3 star at a maximum
September 2023
Check in to a “mountain view” room and was greeted with a huge industrial machine directly in front of my window (and all the others on that side of the hotel), with a parking lot behind, and a highway overpass.
Complained and was told there were zero rooms available to change to as they were all booked. Looked online and a third party had a different room available to book at the same price I originally paid. Staff member told me to just book that and she would cancel my original booking. I did that, and five minutes later a different staff member said they could not cancel the original so I ended up paying double for my stay.
Staff then showed me several “upgraded rooms” over the course of three hours. The property is extremely spread out so the “sea view” rooms are also not really sea rooms - you can go outside your room and see a feint sliver of the marina, past buildings and a parking lot. I estimate that ~5% of the rooms in this hotel are on the side closer to the shops/marina (not a typical sea view). We settled on taking a pool view junior suite which they claimed was the same price as my double payment, which was not correct and no evidence was given to support that claim.
The rooms are also extremely dated. AC went out all three nights of my stay.
It took three days to get in touch with a manager. I left my phone and email night one and repeatedly went to the front desk but they were always “busy.” Once finally in touch with the manager we went back and forth over the course of a day with a result of them not helping me resolve the issue.
Zero customer service and false advertising. There are many better hotels in the area in the same price range that are more updated and in better locations.
I had been in this terrific location for work 15 years ago and I said to myself I should have come back with someone special! That's it!
Room/apartment brand new with all comforts!
Reception very attentive to our needs! Special mention to Silvia, grazie! I read reviews, where people were critic about them. My answer is: be kind and smile, and you will see that people at work will give back everything with interests; if you act like a jerk...
Bar with great quality food and much attention to details. Sofia over all for availability!
Breakfast, simply the best ever quality and service! Really a Team of prepared and charming boys and girls. No mentions in particular because this success comes from organization and dedication. Bravi!
No dinner in hotel, there are many other distractions outside :-)
Last but not least: going to a private beach with a private taxi, everything offered by your hotel is priceless! Great idea and service!
Super quality at right price, you cannot pretend the best at a discount rate ;-)
Highly recommended.

Special thanks to the staff, always extremely helpful, prompt, friendly and professional. Kudos to Fiorella, a concierge working in the reception, who is a true rock star: she helped us with restaurants reservations (even when we left it to the last minute) and booked a reasonably price boat for a day trip--always promptly answering whatsapp messages and going back and forth with restaurants and other establishments to make sure that we had exactly what we needed, at the time we needed it.
Can't recommend this hotel enough!
Plus we required one service: to book a taxi and they couldnt even do it right.
