We were so looking forward to our stay at this iconic hotel but unfortunately it fell short and I would not return. The grounds/furnishings are tired and could be updated in a way sensitive to its history. Hotel Il Pellicano was simply amazing - from top to bottom and from start to finish! We were there with a group of 10 of us from Toronto (Canada) - and the amenities, location, service, and attention to detail... OUTSTANDING! A huge shoutout to Nick in the restaurant who served and entertained us on our last night and made our time there that much more memorable (and kudos to the chefs as well!)....
We had an exceptional experience at Hotel Il Pellicano - the grounds are beautiful; our room was cozy and clean; the Michelin menu + wine pairings were outstanding; and the seaside lounging experience was relaxing and well serviced. We intend on returning next year for a summer getaway.

Way over priced. Hotel had a funny smell walking to the room. Morning breakfast was ok. Eggs seemed a bit runny. Pool was small and there's special about the pool. Could be updated. At a 500 euro per night price point it should have more. I could pay less per night for an all inclusive resort.

Nice hotel on the hill. Great views of the village if you have a room with a view. Some parking available outside hotel, overflow car park up the hill if you're not lucky enough to get a spot. Beach difficult to get to but very nice when you make it. Not much atmosphere, but lovely for a quiet stay. Village lovely, everywhere closes in afternoon.
A little bit vintage, but good position, god view from the breakfast lounge and overall I like the beach. Ask the concierge. Suggested.

Beautiful view over Porto Ercole harbour from the restaurant salon. Outstanding fish hors-d'oeuvre; perfect spaghetti with vongole; light and delicate fish main plate. Cannot say anything about the price because I was invited by my friends Emanuele and Ilaria, but worth anyway.

Clean rooms and nice staff. Rooms are a bit small but big enough for the price. The room and bath room seem to be updated recently but not fully finished. 1 tip: do not ask the hotel to get a taxi for you. We have spend more the EUR 100,= for a return trip to a restaurant only 5 km away from the hotel. This is why we award only 3 stars instead of 4.
