Overall 4 STARS For renovated rooms you have to pay for deluxe room and above (suite etc). Beach is nice, but don’t expect photos to be reality. Nice hotel with a really sweet private beach. I strongly recommend to rent a car at the airport for your stay as this makes your life sooo much easier, it’s really cheap too. We booked the stay with breakfast and that was the best choice as there are brilliant restaurant with original Italian food.

This hotel is amazing. It is located right to the sea. There is a very small beach where you can have sunbathing. If you want to swim you have to use the pool in front of the hotel, because there are rocks before getting to the sea. I'm sure that the photos on the site were taken some time ago. We had no salad in 9 days. The TV was in front of the dressing Mirror. You had to choose your food for your meals from a listing of 4 choices. The bathtub had no water stopper to take a bath,you could only shower. (That’s in general ok), but they provide nothing against it, like dog bowl, bed, some snack, whatsoever... - they charge 60 Eur for some easy white wine at the beach, which can be ordered online for less than 10 Eur. Porto Rotondo is a very cosy, a bit expensive, village. Hotel Colonna San Marco lies st the very heart of it and is probably the best place to start exploring Porto Rotondo. Rooms are a bit outdated, but that kind of belongs to this sort of hotel. Pool and breakfast very good.

Great hotel and great location close to everything in the town. I liked their decor and contemporary style. The room we got was a free upgrade because it was our honeymoon. It was very clean and so was the bathroom. The bed was comfortable Breakfast included was great and had a good collection of eggs, cheeses, breads, cold cuts, drinks, fruits and pastries. Very nice staff.

The structure is a little dated, the furniture is cheap, mattresses a bit too hard, hot water heated with a water heater. The worst problem is the electric stove, it is possible to use only a full power cooker (the smaller one, turning off the water heater) otherwise the meter trips (in the worst case you have to go to the external meter outside the structure). Ideal place if you are looking for relaxation and to spend whole days at the beach. Porto Rotondo, the airport of Olbia and Porto Cervo, the pearl of the Costa Smeralda, are quickly reachable.

Great location! It has free parking which is really important in Sardinia as you have to drive to go everywhere. The room was clean with a balcony area looking at the sea. The nearest beach Santa Marinella is one of the best beaches I've ever seen!

The wonderful experience in this wonderful place has just ended. A few days later I already have the nostalgia, hospitality and availability of Mr. Piero not seen every day. It is in the middle of a hill close to the sea, the garden and the swimming pool with a view are very well kept as you can see in the photos, ditto the apartment. We ate well considering it's early December. Well furnished rustic room. Great service and very nice owner. I hope to return in the spring.

Simple place. Fast and efficient service. Succulent homemade dessert. The pizzas are huge, for children, one for two is enough. The top car park just opposite, when you know that it's a hassle to find a place on a Saturday evening in this area.
