Fabulous location and lovely views over the lake. Unfortunately the dining room was closed for it stay. Would still highly recommend it.

The holiday home Casa Elena is a cute holiday home outside of Castelveccana. The house is above the lake, about 10 minutes walk to the pebbly beach. The house is perfectly equipped, sufficient pots and dishes. Even soap, dishwashing liquid and toilet paper were plentiful. Our dog also felt very comfortable. A perfect home for your vacation. Strategic and quiet place just a few minutes from Luino, Laveno, Varese, Stresa and the various places of interest of Lake Maggiore. The house is very welcoming both for couples of all ages and for families of up to 5 members. I also highly recommend for those who have pets because they welcome them.

A beautiful holiday home with a fantastically beautiful view of the Lago. We spent a very nice holiday here and felt very comfortable. Including a view of the Calde Sugar Loaf with its small chapel. This cottage is just awesome! A fantastic view of Lake Maggiore and a quiet location at the end of a cul-de-sac. The house is neatly furnished and clean, it has a garage and, if you wish, a parking space in front of it. The property is very well maintained. Here one likes to be a guest and can relax in a cultivated way.

Maniacal cleaning everywhere. Fantastic room with a terrace (large enough to accommodate two sun loungers and a table with two chairs) overlooking the lake! 3d TV with choice of free Blu-ray movies .... Restaurant for all very good but the dishes are the specialty. They are not come, my wife and I had dinner and breakfast in a "traditional" way. I will definitely be back. I also hope more than once...

Paola is wonderful! Such a lovely person. Speaks great English. Recommended on sights and beaches. Let us put our lugagge before check in and keep it after. Brought us a fan when we requested as there was a weird heat wave in Italy. Our kids enjoyed the small pool at the yard. The view is amazing and it is literaly 4 minutes walk to the beach, as close as it gets. High value for money.

Charming house, very close to the lake, with an own little pool and a parking lot in a few meters. We felt very spoiled by the owner and her big breakfast for only 3-4 rooms so 6-8 guests.

I do not give 5 stars just because the bathroom was not in the room (as long as it is for private use) and to reach it you have to cross a common corridor

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Ghiffa! The private beach on Lake Maggiore is the perfect place to relax, and the food at the restaurant was simply amazing. The location has a beautiful view over the lake. There are two parking lots with enough parking spaces. Access by car is difficult, the road being very narrow, without being able to pass two cars at the same time, but you can carefully climb by car. The building is quite old but has everything you need. There is no air conditioning and there are a lot of ants, any food left on the balcony attracts...

My stay was pretty nice, the hotel had a great location and very nice staff. Nonetheless, was I pretty disappointed by the town Luino. The farmers market was great but for the rest of the week, the town was pretty boring.

Always a pleasure to lunch here. Great view on the lago maggiore from the terrasse, but also great neo-classical decoration inside. Food excellent for very reasonable prices, even the house wine is recommended. Friendly service is very highly appreciated too. Wholeheartedly recommended! 👌👍

I have never before been made to feel so welcomed on arrival at a hotel. The owners and staff were exceptionally lovely. The view and property is gorgeous, they have multiple terraces so you can sit with a drink or sunbathe. Its a very beautiful place. Nothing was too much trouble. We came back most nights for dessert, the tiramisu and profiteroles were wonderful.

This is my favorite place in Cannero. We tried various dishes and they were all successful. In the end, one dish was our top favorite; luigine with truffle. In addition, the atmosphere at this place is unbeatable. It is located on a quiet boulevard, overlooking the lake. No mass tourism here; only quietly moving people who want to enjoy the peace and beauty.

Beautiful boutique hotel with marvelous views! It’s very quiet and private, remote from the noisy touristic areas. You can easily reach by car in 20-40 min other places to visit. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast, but dinner in the restaurant however I would not recommend. It is better to go outsides. All in all we enjoyed our stay a lot and definitely will come back!

We spent a few days nearby on Lake Como and decided to visit Lake Maggiore, as well, and chose to stay at the Park Italia Hotel. What a pleasant stay! Lake Maggiore is every bit as nice as Como, and Park Italia is a gem of a hotel. The breakfast is wonderful and over the top. We also dined at the hotel restaurant and found it amazing. Holidays during COVID is somewhat special. We were not sure how things would turn out. But on arrival we noticed our apartment was very clean and that Claudia, our host, took care of everything so we immediately felt safe. Helianthus Residence is well maintained and has nice apartments, the village is beautiful and the lake magnificent. We were lucky that Claudia acted as our own 'tourist office'....

We recently stayed at Helianthus residence for 2 nights. The whole stay was first class from the accommodation to the welcome we received by the lovely Claudia. The apartment was spotless and Claudia was easily available for any enquiries we had. We would love to come back for longer next time!

Great, friendly hosts giving lots of tips including local Highlights you might otherwise miss. VERY clean, flat in very good condition. Located in a lovely small village with nice and affordable yet still good restaurants. Just don't expect party life. No sand beach, in return plenty of space avaiable (in september) and reachable by foot. I can recommend this to anyone looking foran appartment
