Maniacal cleaning everywhere. Fantastic room with a terrace (large enough to accommodate two sun loungers and a table with two chairs) overlooking the lake! 3d TV with choice of free Blu-ray movies .... Restaurant for all very good but the dishes are the specialty. They are not come, my wife and I had dinner and breakfast in a "traditional" way. I will definitely be back. I also hope more than once...

Paola is wonderful! Such a lovely person. Speaks great English. Recommended on sights and beaches. Let us put our lugagge before check in and keep it after. Brought us a fan when we requested as there was a weird heat wave in Italy. Our kids enjoyed the small pool at the yard. The view is amazing and it is literaly 4 minutes walk to the beach, as close as it gets. High value for money.

Charming house, very close to the lake, with an own little pool and a parking lot in a few meters. We felt very spoiled by the owner and her big breakfast for only 3-4 rooms so 6-8 guests.

I do not give 5 stars just because the bathroom was not in the room (as long as it is for private use) and to reach it you have to cross a common corridor

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Ghiffa! The private beach on Lake Maggiore is the perfect place to relax, and the food at the restaurant was simply amazing. The apartment is just perfect. The view from the terrace and the winter garden is simply breathtaking. Everything was very modern and yet antique. I recommend the apartment with a winter garden.

The view was lovely, the room was delightful and the owner was more helpful than any other Airbnb owner that I have come across. The room was also well stocked with jam, some Nutella, coffee, tea, bread and wine as well some other edibles. It was, all in all, a great experience.

We were made very welcome by Jarno. He met us at the parking spot and assisted us down to the B & B. He showed us to our accommodation which was on the top floor. He made us some delicious pizza on our first evening with a nice cold glass of wine. Jarno made a lovely breakfast which set us up for the day. The accommodation was traditional, very spacious, clean and well equipped with balcony views...

We were allowed to stay 2 nights at this special location. The B&B is located in the mountains about 8 km from the town of Verbania and 10 km from Lake Maggiore. The road from Verbania to Aurano is narrow and steep in places, making it an adventure in itself. The surroundings and the view become more and more beautiful as you drive up. Once we arrived at the parking lot we were met and warmly welcomed...

We stayed at Chi Ghinn in August and could not recommend it more. We were greeted by the owner, Adolfo, who kindly carried our bags to our room. Everything was immaculate and the view spectacular. Dinner, cooked by Adolfo, was excellent, with the same fabulous view and charming staff. Breakfast was also delicious - everything home made and beautifully presented, again. We will be back!

What a pleasure to stay at Chi Ghinn: it is a unique experience we will not forget. It is a charming place with great views on the lake, very refined and delicious meals. Breakfast is just perfect and has homemade breads, jams, yogurt, and freshly squeezed juice… The staff is very welcoming and happy to help. We highly recommend.

The holiday home Casa Elena is a cute holiday home outside of Castelveccana. The house is above the lake, about 10 minutes walk to the pebbly beach. The house is perfectly equipped, sufficient pots and dishes. Even soap, dishwashing liquid and toilet paper were plentiful. Our dog also felt very comfortable. A perfect home for your vacation. Strategic and quiet place just a few minutes from Luino, Laveno, Varese, Stresa and the various places of interest of Lake Maggiore. The house is very welcoming both for couples of all ages and for families of up to 5 members. I also highly recommend for those who have pets because they welcome them.

A beautiful holiday home with a fantastically beautiful view of the Lago. We spent a very nice holiday here and felt very comfortable. Including a view of the Calde Sugar Loaf with its small chapel. The house is equipped with everything you need. 3 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and a beautiful covered terrace where you can sit outside when the weather isn't playing along. This cottage is just awesome! A fantastic view of Lake Maggiore and a quiet location at the end of a cul-de-sac. The house is neatly furnished and clean, it has a garage and, if you wish, a parking space in front of it. The property is very well maintained. Here one likes to be a guest and can relax in a cultivated way.

Enviable position overlooking the wonderful lake. Rooms a little dated but very clean and with everything you need. Reserved parking is a 5-minute walk away. The restaurant is open at busy times so I didn't get to try it. The breakfast in the morning is basic with not much alternative.

We visited several cities and stayed different accommodations. This hotel is my favorite. Our room had enough space for three people and had a beautiful view. The lunch was delicious.

It is a great option for a hotel near the lake. It is quite clean, but not perfectly clean inside. There should be made some improvements in there, but I appreciate that the bed sheets and towels were clean like new, in general the rooms are clean, but I think some details are left behind (I found little spider webs in the room, some rust in the shower, some pieces of furniture are a little deteriorated...

Hotel is very central, great location to explore old town and lake side. Staff very friendly. Our room was very spacious, has everything needed. Decor is somewhat outdated but rooms offer all that is needed. Comfy bed, desk, tiny tv but it’s there. All clean, kept to a good standard

Rooms were clean and big. Staff were all very friendly and nice. Breakfast was ok. Location is very good, close to many bars and restaurants. However AC did not work most of the time. Also it's not really an "AC". Moreover "lake view" is a view of the old boat station which limits the lake view. The wifi in our room didn't work.

Stunning views. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We had issues with our hire car and received loads of assistance. Especially from Christina who even drove us to the car and arranged taxis. Great breakfast with perfectly cooked eggs to order.

Reviewing the restaurant as we did not stay here. Perfect Italian meal out on the terrace, pasta course in particular was memorable.

We come here fequently with family just for the restaurant. Great food that is frequently "slow food" meaning that they use fresh national ingredients. The menu is varied and has something available for everyone (1 family member is vegetarian). Great wine list and friendly staff. Always a great experience

We arrived at the Cloister Hotel on a very hot summer day. And no one at reception even looked at us or greeted us until we made a point of saying we needed to check in. When we eventually got our keys, we found our way to the room, which was down a musty smelling hall, through an old lounge area. The room was awful - it smelled like must and cleaning supplies, the airconditioner was leaking a terrible...

Dinner menu was good, the barman perfect and the Bellini cocktail drunk in the monastery patio excellent.

Great location directly at the lake. We had a marvelous and spacious room. The personnel was really friendly and forthcoming. My highlight was probably the spa area with the infinity pool, which is always heated.

This hotel was just delightful! We stayed here for a yoga retreat, and it was perfect for relaxation. The location was stunning, and perfect for day trips to many unique local places. The town was charming. The hotel was beautiful and comfortable, you could stay all day and just relax and enjoy the view, delicious food, infinity pool, spa or just sit outside and do nothing. I highly recommend!

It was an amazing location, the facility itself was super nice, an Apartment spread on 2 floors, so my kid loved it had an interior staircase. Very clean, all we needed was there, complementary water, soft drinks and Nespresso coffee tabs. The view is spectacular, looking over the lake.

Nice place to stay to visit Lago Maggiore. Laura was very kindly. Went 3 times at the restaurant under the appartement because it was good and affordable. And the lake view and the sunset was just amazing.

Tasting menu was very yummy: first a selection of raw fish for fish lovers, second an interesting take on pasta carbonara with salmon instead of bacon. And as a finish the best Semifreddo with Baileys

Stopped here on the way to Provence. A good little hotel right on the shore. The area and the place are very original and good for relaxing. The pizzas in the outdoor seating area at the hotel are very good. Good value for money.
