I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Ghiffa! The private beach on Lake Maggiore is the perfect place to relax, and the food at the restaurant was simply amazing. Nice location for a short vacation. Very well-kept facility. Magnificent view of Lake Maggiore. Calm. The apartments, however, quite noisy. However, there are no shops within walking distance.

Excellent stay at this hotel. Great staff, recently refurbished rooms. Nice pool and beach, and access to some great campsite pools and parks nearby (part of the same family). Made for a really pleasant stay with our three young children. Would highly recommend and will definitely return one day.

Great and cheap hotel. The pool is very good, but you have to wear swim caps. I was there already several times, and it was always nice to stay here. It is a bit farther away from the city, but it makes for a nice evening walk. There are a few restaurants nearby too, so if you don't want to walk too far, that is also an option. Great Hotel. Service was good and professional. Breakfast could’ve been a bit better in terms of quality, but there were enough options for everyone. The pool is very nice and the poolbar/restaurants has a great menu for good prices.

Best service I've ever gotten at a hotel, lovely staff!

We arrived very late in heavy Rain and Thunder. Was met with umbrellas and cheese and salame and bread. Clean and classic Room. Not the largest but exactly what we needed. Walking distance to Ferry and Cable Car to the viewpoint.

Basic apartments (which, however, contain all one needs) but the view, private beach and friendly staff are what makes this accomodation worthy of a recommendation!

My wife and I arrived late from a long and hauling road trip. The beautiful room was equipped with all that one could dream of after a long day (i.e. bathtub, air conditioning of course, a shining view of the lago Maggiore and a comfortable bed). The breakfast was equipped with ample options for all types of taste (Ciabatta, Croissants, (sourdough) bread, scrambled eggs, delicious bacon, fruits, yogurt...

All I can say, is go here and experience everything the hotel has to offer. You won't be disappointed.

I have never before been made to feel so welcomed on arrival at a hotel. The owners and staff were exceptionally lovely. The view and property is gorgeous, they have multiple terraces so you can sit with a drink or sunbathe. Its a very beautiful place. Nothing was too much trouble. We came back most nights for dessert, the tiramisu and profiteroles were wonderful.

Beautiful boutique hotel with marvelous views! It’s very quiet and private, remote from the noisy touristic areas. You can easily reach by car in 20-40 min other places to visit. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast, but dinner in the restaurant however I would not recommend. It is better to go outsides. All in all we enjoyed our stay a lot and definitely will come back!

We spent a few days nearby on Lake Como and decided to visit Lake Maggiore, as well, and chose to stay at the Park Italia Hotel. What a pleasant stay! Holidays during COVID is somewhat special. We were not sure how things would turn out. But on arrival we noticed our apartment was very clean and that Claudia, our host, took care of everything so we immediately felt safe. Helianthus Residence is well maintained and has nice apartments, the village is beautiful and the lake magnificent. We were lucky that Claudia acted as our own 'tourist office'....

We recently stayed at Helianthus residence for 2 nights. The whole stay was first class from the accommodation to the welcome we received by the lovely Claudia. The apartment was spotless and Claudia was easily available for any enquiries we had. We would love to come back for longer next time!

Great, friendly hosts giving lots of tips including local Highlights you might otherwise miss. VERY clean, flat in very good condition. Located in a lovely small village with nice and affordable yet still good restaurants. Just don't expect party life. No sand beach, in return plenty of space avaiable (in september) and reachable by foot. I can recommend this to anyone looking foran appartment

They say on the website that they have a heated pool but I assume cause we got there in September they didn't heat it. Or they just don't heat it. Otherwise it would be 5*

A charming hotel in a wonderful location. And there was free parking available! Includes a full buffet breakfast. Hotel was very clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. However, if you have any allergies or are scent sensitive, make sure when you make a reservation that they do not put scents in the room. I was one of the first to stay in the Sempione after its remodeling, and it is wonderful. Everything brand new, elegant and comfortable. The view from the terrace is unbelievable, and the managers and staff are delightful -- with a real eye for detail. Would definitely go back... soon!

I have just returned from a Blake's tour to lake Maggiore.we stayed at this hotel . I could not fault it .The staff were brilliant the meals were great,and the rooms were good(the only reason I gave 4stars was we had no view. It is situated on the lake near the ferry and tourist boats

This hotel is located in a great location, beautiful views of the lake and the staff is outstanding! The trains went on strike the day of our departure and the staff worked for hours to find us alternative transportation. I highly recommend this hotel. We had a great stay there!
