Although quite some distance from the main town, the location right on the beach is lovely. Very pleasant staff, especially worth a mention is the man who showed where to park and helped with luggage etc. The hotel's grounds are beautifully maintained and a delight to stroll around and find a relaxing spot, especially at sunset.

This is an amazing Hotel, with a beautiful Villa, a tennis court, pool and a very well maintained garden. The view over the sea is spectacular at day and at night. Old glamorous villa, perfect for the guests who love old rustical style. Unfortunely we’re not one of them. A couple of decades ago the villa was probably state of art, today is just a shadow of old good times. The sunset from the terrace is astonishing and they making really tasty coctails. Very nice old school European hotel. Service and setting are excellent. The hotel accommodation is dated and in need of a refresh but in no way shabby. Accommodations have been average. Nothing terrible, but nothing outstanding. There is a rotation of restaurant/bar service through out the day that keeps you running around the grounds to be served. Andrea was a fantastic bartender this afternoon in the beach side bar.

Nice location, helpful staff

It gets three stars because of the service and the staff. It gets no stars at all for the rooms! We had a 'yet to be refurbished' room, circa 1980, and air con to match (unable to cope with the heat) this was probably once a great place. All amenities are tired, it could do with a full blown re- vamp. Food good, nice wines, excellent staff though.

A lovely hotel, with great food. Wifi can be a little hit and miss in the rooms but that just means you can go outside and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

We were at the hotel for 3 days and everything was better than we exspected. Room was great, we even got apartment that was sepereted from other rooms. Food was okay, we especialy loved cheese option at dinner :) Staff is also nice and helpful and the beach is amazing.

This hotel is at 5 min walking distance from the beach. Rooms are nice and clean. Staffs are very helpful and nice. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are well organized and I found good options for vegetarian meals as well.. Overall it was a nice staying there!

We have been there four (or five?) years ago and the stay was amazing. Wonderful beach (unfortunately not sandy one), clear sea, accommodation was pleasant, hotel restaurant great. Will see, maybe will come back soon... Tip: When staying on Elba Island, can't miss the trip to Monte Cappane, highest peak of the island.

We booked a sea view room, and were assured of one of the upper rooms with balcony, then got given a lower one that really had a partial sea view (still ok, but not the view that some people rave about). On Google Maps it gives you the right location as you see the Roman caves sign the hotel is there. There is an easy to reach dirt path. There is a large parking lot where you can leave your car and scooter. We had the medusa room that is double with bathroom. Appearance as in the picture. The bed consisted of two single cots one creaked the other no. In the bathroom the shower water was cold / lukewarm...

Clean rooms, with climate and a wonderful view, but can be improved. The staff are polite and friendly. Good breakfast not very varied but always fresh products and beautiful views from the tables. Unfortunately, they don't have anything to eat at the bar, so you have to make do for lunch and dinner. Nice and comfortable private beach.

The path from the sea to the hotel is beautiful, there is a restaurant close by that is the best on the island. We had to check out at night because we left before breakfast, the person in charge left a bag with many delicacies for us to take...

Excellent location, very panoramic and in view of the beautiful beach of Baiano, strategic to reach coves and beaches. Very efficient and courteous staff, who go out of their way. Abundant breakfast, varied and attentive to all the nutritional needs of the guests. The furnishings and equipment of the rooms can be improved. There is no lift or the organization of a baggage transfer in the room.

Hotel for 2 stars very well equipped. Price is ,however, very high and place is hard to reach - especially if you rely on public transport: There are only 4 busses a day. Cleaning lady was annoying and entered several times our room even though we clearly stated that it is occupied.

Family run bed and breakfast a few 100 metres up the hill from Bagnaia beach. Simple rooms, clean with ceiling fan, tv, ensuite shower and toilet. Lovely family, all extremely helpful and spoke great English. Budget but fine for our purposes.

Beautifully designed and landscaped properties that almost disappear into the sides of the cove they are built in. Gardens, pool and bar excellent and well maintained. While apartments are not brand new they are well cared for and have individual terraces and parking.

The annex for 8 is really an apartment for 6. But it's clean and has two bathrooms and an ok kitchen to make food and a spacious fridge. Very spacious territory, lots of beautiful plants everything like drowning in green. Good pool (for extra fee) Rooms are big, clean and good looking. Very family friendly.
