Cool hotel near a walkable beach, but be prepared for a lot of walking up and down. I thought the hotel was a little too old school for me, but I appreciate the sentiment it gives. It’s just not my cup of tea. Had a porter that helped me with luggage during check in and check out. Very good customer service and would recommend this to people.

Hotel Demora Fornillo was pure magic. The views, helpful staff, complementary breakfast in the garden and location were perfect. The location is on the north side of Positano, nestled up the hill (about 300 steps UP). We found this location to out of the busy downtown area, however just a close walk by foot! It truly felt like a vacation and only wish we stayed longer.

This was an absolutely amazing place. Staff are so friendly, the place and grounds were impressive. The coastal view from our balcony was tranquil and stunning. I would highly recommend this property. It is about a 15 minute walk on a winding road to Positano but well worth the walk. It is at the start of the Path of Gods. We selected this place for the view and for the great recommendation for the host, and both were living up to the expectations. the view of Positano from the private terrace is great, and Gippy is very kind and loves what he does. Parking in Positano is a challenge but this one is quite close to the recommended parking garage (30 euros a day, leave the key).

Stayed in Venus Inn a week ago and it was amazing. The rooms are clean, spacious and replenished. We had a private terrace with a table and the view from the balcony was amazing. It’s a 10 min walk from the beach with stunning views on the walk there. Breakfast was also really lovely.
