If you’re reading this review and deciding where you should stay, do yourself a favor and book the Eden Roc! We recently stayed here for our honeymoon. Amazing hotel, team and experience. From breakfast in the morning with Tony and his amazing team, to the concierge team who was at our disposal to arrange private transfers, dinner reservations, and even find us a new private boat tour when ours was cancelled due to weather. We loved waking up to stunning views from our room and the hotel has a great location for exploring Positano and the nearby towns. Finally, both restaurants, the sky bar (fantastic cocktails and best view of the town by the way) and pool made the hotel even better than we imagined. We couldn’t have asked for better support to make this a once in a lifetime trip for us!

I’m leaving this review in hopes the hotel is able to improve and prevent any other injuries.

My husband and I stayed here in the past week for 3 nights at the beginning of what was supposed to be a two week honeymoon. I noticed quickly the floors are slippery. I first noticed this after we showered the water didn’t stay in the shower well. Next we received a couples massage and the shower in there has no door and the water shot out everywhere making the floor very slippery. I made several comments to my husband how slippery the floors were and unfortunately my worries occurred and he slipped. My husband was getting out of the hot tub on our balcony and slipped as soon as his feet touched the ground. He hit his head, lost consciousness, had no recollection of coming to Italy and was taken by ambulance to a not well equipped hospital in ravello. (This was confirmed by the hospital he is currently at.) Initially the paramedics thought my husband was confused from alcohol which was NOT the case. Then we get to the hospital and the Dr calls my husband a liar and says what kind of idiot comes to Italy and doesn’t speak Italian. Both of my husbands parents primarily speak Italian so he did understand what they were saying.

The Dr did a CT of his head and told him there was no brain bleed. We ended up going to another hospital in Florence and my husband is admitted with a brain bleed and I have no clue if he is going to make it, they don’t allow family to stay in the hospital with their spouses.

So I am begging. Please do something more for guest safety and the slippery floors!!! Please don’t let this happen to anyone else! One of the staff mentioned this wasn’t the first time. The room was beautiful, the staff were so extremely kind, the food the views amazing. But I’m on my honeymoon and without my husband because of the slippery floors. We rented your beautiful room and instead of sleeping in it slept at the hospital. It could be prevented with more floor mats.

We recently stayed at Eden Roc for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon. Such a wonderful experience! The hotel staff were all extremely accommodating and the daily breakfast was unbelievably delicious! Tony, the head chef and breakfast manager, is so fun-loving, personable and hilarious. I looked forward to seeing him every morning and told him I wanted to take him home with me in my luggage!

We stayed in the Susy Suite annex across from the main hotel. It is noisy because you are in between two streets, but the view from the room made it completely worth it! Plus, the room itself was very nice and we liked how private it felt.

Overall, great location in Positano and delicious restaurant options, both at the hotel and close by. Would absolutely stay here again!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay at Eden Roc in Positano. From the moment we walked in the door the service was exceptional. The front desk staff were extremely helpful at all hours of the day and night. The rooms were immaculate and the bathroom towels were changed every day. The buffet breakfast provided by Tony and his team was a stand out for us. Tony gave us a warm welcome each morning, even on the mornings when we arrived 10 minutes early. The chef prepared fresh omelettes on request, cappuccino, fresh baked pastries, and fresh fruit were offered daily. It was apparent to us that Tony and his team love what they do to give guests a great start to their day! Our stay at Eden Roc in Positano will be memorable.

3 night stay in Positano and spent a bit of time researching hotels before deciding on the EDEN ROC. Couldn’t be happier with the choice! A lovely gem of a hotel with great views and excellent location. Our room was simply gorgeous with a beautiful veranda. The staff and service take this place to an even higher level. Friendly. Courteous. Professional. Knowledgeable. Pascal is a great guy. Went out of his way to help! Would definitely come back to same hotel if returning to Positano!🍷Ciao!

One of the best suites with worlds best view from the extra long Balcony.

Great room with kitchen, Living room, large bedroom and even a washing machine and dryer.

Most luxurious room for sure

Great staff and service. Reception staff is very attentive and concierge is very helpful. Special mention to Mr. Tony at the Breakfast zone. Such personal touch has never been witnessed in any hotel in the world. Such people bring extra stars to such great hotels.

Eden Roc is wonderful. The vibe for me was more like a boutique hotel where the staff had a shared interest in making your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Tony and the crew at breakfast were superb. Eggs made custom any way you want and everything else you'd want (European and American) in the buffet. I'm an orange juice snob and the stuff they serve is at the top of my list. Front desk was very helpful with excursions and transportation. I had a great time in Positano. Thank you Eden Roc!

The views, the scenery, the drive to the hotel, was just worth every thing. I spent two days here and I never wanted to leave. Positano is such a memorable place. I am a breakfast girl and the buffet did not disappoint. Our server was very attentive and treated us like we were in his home. The room was perfect 😍 for the occasion. The beach and sunset 🌅 was magical! I love Italy.

The Eden Roc Hotel was more than a pleasant surprise. At a very fair price for the area, Eden Roc delivers on every level.

Our check in process was extremely smooth and we received a very detailed personal walkthrough of the hotel and our room provided by the on staff hotel manager.

The room itself was immaculate. A noticeably classic Positano style but also upgraded for the times with multiple region charge ports and a lovely in frame flat screen TV. The room was also filled with every amenity you could ask for as well as a private hot tub on the balcony coupled with a breathtaking view of the Positano coastline.

If ever we needed anything take in care of or brought to the room, the staff was always there to assist within minutes.

The hotel also boasts 2 restaurants as well as a lush wine room for private or group wine tastings.

The restaurant on the top floor is a more classic and broad menu that serves dishes like pasta, salads and meat based entrees. You can also enjoy the daily breakfast buffet upstairs from
7:30am until 10:30am.

The restaurant in the ground floor “The Roc” is a very upscale restaurant focusing on gourmet style pizza and a very large library of aged steaks. Reservations are required for “The Roc” so make sure to plan accordingly.

We will most definitely be staying at the Eden Roc during our next visit to Positano and I highly recommend that you do too!

My wife and I chose to forgo a traditional wedding and elope to Positano to celebrate our marriage- and we are so glad we did. We had never been to Italy before but Valentino and the entire Eden Roc staff made us feel right at home from planning stages and throughout our stay. I can’t say enough about this place and the town in general. This hotel has to have the best view in all of Positano.

Special shoutout to Tony at breakfast who is truly as dynamic as advertised.
