Splendid historic building. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. We received a free upgrade upon arrival and enjoyed a spacious room with a lovely aspect. Breakfast was delicious with good coffee.

The hotel was beautiful, would highly recommend to anyone visiting Ragusa. Great location near the old town.

Definitely recommended. Personal atmosphere, yet highly professional, meeting all standards. We spent an unplanned extra night. If there were six stars I would give them here.

A very unique and beautiful hotel with great service. The rooms have incredible grotto bathrooms. A huge issue though is the room we were in (no. 8) opens straight on the street so until 3am we had people and cars loudly going past keeping us up the whole time! If they improve sound proofing it would be much much better.

We liked the typical and very beautiful place in small stone caves. Quite an unusual and luxurious bathroom. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. The downside is that the front door faces the street, so it was a bit noisy and surprising for the "Relais Château" label. The room is also a little damp. This is a lovely old house, about 320 years old, converted into an amazing hotel. Upon arrival you could tell that the measures taken to deal with covid were exemplary and the staff were very friendly and helpful. You can tell that no expense was spared on the conversion, with the quality and cleanliness of the rooms being top notch. We had breakfast included in the price and it didn't disappoint...

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful town. We loved our stay here (in September). The villa has been wonderfully and tastefully renovated. The gardens are lovely and the highlight was the breakfast in the chapel or garden. We only had one issue, which the helpful staff quickly addressed by changing our room. We would absolutely love to come back.

A good location handy to train and bus stations. Only had one evening meal there which was very good and a reasonable price. Staff were helpful.

Welcoming and friendly staff, I was able to check in before the room was ready and leave my luggage in the lobby. When I came back from a walk, my luggage was in my room :) The room itself, spacious comfortable and clean as well as the bathroom. There was even a balcony overlooking a quiet street. For breakfast, the choice is quite complete and it is served at the table and quickly once installed.

Really lovely place. The bedrooms are huge. It's very good located. Grand variety for breakfast. Lovely staff. I was in 5 hotels during my trip and this one was the best one. Really recommended.

The area has one of the best buildings, modern but with architectural respect for its ancient origins, the Michelin star restaurant is an unforgettable experience, the pool is excellent, relaxing like home.

Modern hotel, great restaurant

The gardens, outdoorpool and the *Michelin restaurant, make of this hotel a complete relaxing and luxurious place.

Very beautiful place. The pool is incredibly beautiful, so is the place and the view. Only on or two things : the bathrooms could be better, at least with a bath tub, and with the light. Also, you have to do some kilometers to eat, lunch and dinner, and this can be a little bit to long sometimes

Lovely refurbished hotel, all rooms are lovely standard with our room having seating area and bathroom upstairs, comfortable beds and despite being off the SS15 road noise was not a problem. The breakfast was very good and service friendly with a lovely pool of staying for a few days. There is some shaded seating away from the pool for younger children or in heat of the day. Beautiful B&B; the owners have taken great care to make everything as inviting as possible. This is only accessible by car, down an unpaved road - secured behind a gate with minimal signage for security. The room we stayed in could sleep 5 - 1st level was a double bed with full bath (shower no tub) and the 2nd level 3 twin beds with toilet/sink/bidet. Eremo della Guibiliana is an exceptional place to stay. The whole hotel is just wow and also the room was nicely furnished. I have to compliment the staff who is fantastic and didn't spare any effort to arrange a spa afternoon for us. Beautiful gardens with archeological features complement the buildings. The breakfast was very good – no wishes spared.

This is a hotel of high potential and missed opportunities. The place is beautiful, really beautiful old historic site. And staff is overfriendly and the food is excellent. But the rooms are old fashioned and simple. With terrible beds (we hardly slept, we heard next morning extra soft mattresses could have been provided). If you book: ask for a soft bed!

Very helpful staff. Nice location, overlooking Ragusa Ibla and just a few minutes away from Santa Maria alla Scalla, where the walk for seeing all the main attractions start. The rooms are modern and clean, with a very nice bathroom. Breakfast is OK.

We had the 'penthouse', the top floor room, spacious, large balcony and magnificent views over Ragusa Ibla, the old city. Breakfast was ok, not special. One minus: starting at 7 o'clock in the morning right next to our ears (that's how it felt anyways) we had a real 'Barok and roll' experience: the barok church bells started to rock, making us jump out of bed the first morning.

Great building great staff no expense spared a must stay if in Ragusa or around. Down side shower door in Pesca needs attention and a door person should be in attendance in a 5star hotel. Having said that price is of a 4star so I should not complain. Well done team 1619.

It is really long long long way to get to the reception. It maybe makes you tired with suitcases although the stay was great. The room I stayed had many ants and sometimes these reached my shoes. But they have clean service, kind reception, and free tea/coffee!

Superb!!!! This is an exquisite place. You cannot miss it! The location is great: right in front of the Duomo! The rooms are all very nice, elegant and comfortable. The breakfast is very good and the staff is super nice. The owner Giusi is fantastic. We had high expectations when we booked it but the place outweighed them by large! A.d. 1768 is one good reason to go back to Ragusa Ibla!

Beautiful hotel! The owner did a marvelous job restoring the building. We got a warm welcome with a little tour through the building. At breakfast they serve lots of local delicious products. Loved it!

Modern rooms in a superb authentic Sicilian building. Staff is very friendly and helpful. High quality breakfast buffet, and the service is on point. The garden and pool are gorgeous and make for a peaceful oasis in this tight little city. Excellent location, just on the border between the old and new parts of Ragusa. I stayed at Villa del Lauro for 3 nights in Aug, 2014. I was on my own but had such a wonderful experience there if felt like I had friends with me. The hotel was wonderful, breakfast on the terrace was a delight I relished each morning. The staff could not have been nicer & more helpful. Very nice hotel in the city center of Ragusa with the great rooms. The ceiling is quiet high and it feels great to wake up in a room like that. The personnel is helpful and friendly. My first choice whenever I come back to Ragusa
