Hotel Valeri

Very nice hotel, extremely helpful and friendly staff. The room and bathroom was very nice and clean, very comfortable beds. It's only a 15 minutes walk to the Coliseum, public transportation is nearby . Very tasty pastries as well.
I also wanted to add the on the day of our departure, the pastries have not been delivered yet to the disappointment of my daughter. As we were walking to the bus, the van pulled up with the pastries, next we know one of the staff is running out of the hotel with our pastries! That is what you call an outstanding customer service!
Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back next time we are in Rome!

We were welcomed by a very friendly receptionist ( Wiss) and offered coffee before checking in. The rooms are small but clean. Shower is tiny but with hot water. Nothing else is needed when you spend 15 hours walking thru the city of Rome.
The hotel is 20 min walking distance from Colosseum.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by how clean, simple, and well-maintained everything was. It’s a great value for money. The location is also excellent: just a 10-minute walk from the Colosseum and with several bus stops right next to the hotel.

But what truly makes this place special is the people who work there. From the very first moment, I felt genuinely welcomed. A huge thank you to Jiarka, Wissem, and Alexandros (hope I got the names right!) — they were warm, helpful, and always ready with a smile. Also, another who was in the night shift.

There was something in their attitude and hospitality that reminded me of myself — I saw parts of my own character in the way they treated guests. It was more than just good service; it was a connection. They care, they listen, they laugh with you, and they make your experience personal. These are the kinds of people who make a simple hotel feel like a place you’d want to come back to. Thank you all for making my stay so memorable.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for three days, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel manager, Francisco, was incredibly kind and attentive. He took the time to ask about our needs and gave us great recommendations for exploring the city. He even showed us the main attractions on a city map and kindly pointed out which bus routes would take us to most of the famous sights.

The location is excellent — just a 10-minute walk to the Colosseum, and there’s a bus stop right outside the hotel. The area is also very safe, which made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. On our last day, since our flight was in the afternoon, Francisco was kind enough to store our luggage for us, which was a big help.

Next time we visit Rome, my friend and I will definitely choose this hotel again. If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would!

Great service! The hotel is perfect for a trip to Rome. The location is ideal as the main places are within easy walking distance. For some, the street noise could be a bit annoying, but for us it was absolutely fine. The service at the hotel is 1A! We were warmly welcomed and given a detailed introduction to the city map. We would come back again!

We was greeted on arrival by Francesco the Manager and offered coffee which was spot on. As it was 18:30 we asked if there was a local restaurant he would recommend and he did which was Remo a local family restaurant, photos are on my reviews.

This hotel is the best 3 star I have stayed in, it is spotless clean and all the staff are lovely. I would recommend to anyone to stay here.

11 min walk to the Colosseum and we also walked to the Vatican in 50mins.

If you book direct you get a better deal which I will do next time.

Friendly, welcoming staff, willing to hep and always with a smile. Fransesco and Alexandros were super helpful and made us feel really very comfortable. Room was spacious, warm and very clean. Fresh towels every second day. Tasty Italian breakfast with great espresso coffee. In a walk distance from Colosseo and a bus station just outside the hotel.

Our stay at Hotel Valeri was absolutely delightful! From the moment we arrived, Francesco went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable. He was incredibly helpful and always willing to assist with anything we needed.

The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and very cozy. Some of the ground-floor rooms even had their own private little balconies, which was a lovely touch. The location was excellent—just a 15-minute walk to the Colosseum, making it perfect for exploring the city.

The hotel itself has a warm and cozy atmosphere and is truly excellent value for money. A standout moment for us was leaving at 3:30 in the morning and being greeted and seen off by the night staff. That level of care and attentiveness really made a difference.

I would highly recommend Hotel Valeri to anyone visiting Rome!
