Rome, Via Mantegna 130 🧭 Map
Despite being a bit further from the city center, this hotel was a good value for my sightseeing stay in Rome. The staff were helpful and the room was comfortable. Bus stops are close and the front desk has taxi service on speed dial.
The furnitures of the rooms are pretty outdated and old. There is no coffee machine or water boiler in the room which is quite surprising for a four star hotel! The facilities need repair especially in the toilet. Room was too dark and one of the lights had malfunction. The coffees provided at breakfast time were made in a rush and with low quality.
Alessandro is a gem. He was kind and courteous as he checked us in. He recommended a fabulous restaurant right across the street, La Mucca Pazza. He placed us in a lovely room but there was mold in the bathtub underneath the handles. Other than that, the room was large and comfortable and easily accessible to get a taxi to the airport. Good place to stay away from the busy city and get a good night...
I had a fantastic stay at Precise House Mantegna Roma. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable. The location was convenient for exploring Rome, and breakfast had a good variety of fresh options. Overall, it’s a great value for the price, and I’d definitely recommend it.
The best experience in a hotel I’ve had so far. All the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, the room was exceptional. Breakfast was 10/10 all the fruits served are always fresh and delicious. I would definitely come back here again, just a perfect experience overall.
After trying several hotels in Precise House's same area of Rome, I can say it is the best one I've found – and I regret not finding it early. Great rooms, the ones on the top floors have remarkably big balconies, the restaurant's food is great and breakfast was amazing. It delivers way above its price point

I am giving five star to the restaurant service, they were amazing every time we were there for breakfast and dinner. I will not write names because I do not want to miss anyone, everyone was nice and police, they always had a nice smile and accomodated me with my special diet. Five star to the housekeeping ladies, they did an amazing job cleaning our rooms. The front desk staff is not very friendly...
Located within a few minutes walk from a local supermarket, take aways and restaurants. The cakes and fresh fruits at breakfast were very nice. There is a coffee machine in the reception area before breakfast starts. Rooms were very well cleaned every day. Only down side was the air conditioner which did not seem to cool down the room enough.
Room and bathroom are too small. I can't even bending to washing my feet. Location is not bad. Nearby bus station to Vatican (32) and takes only 25min and use subway to other places.
Excellent location to move easily around the city of Rome.  However, it is worth mentioning the certainly improvable cleanliness and in particular the bathroom ceiling... Also, there was no hot water and we had to fiddle a bit with the shower knob. Everything else was normal.
Room was okay. Breakfast was the exactly the same during our two nights stay. No bidet. No free bottled water and slippers, which is typical nowadays for European hotels
Very enjoyable stay outside the main tourist area of Rome, however convenient for the Olimpico stadium. We used bus no. 32 from near the hotel to access Rome centre, and from their metro or walked yo main sites. Very comfy bed, good in room facilities and nice bathroom. I was very happy with my room. Never used the on site bars or restaurants however good to have on hand. Taxi to Termimi at 6am...

500m from Roma Termini and all Roman sights are walking distance 20 mins. Room size was reasonable , service was good.
i will list down the good, the average and the bad. Good: Location is good. Near to bus station and train station. Easily access to any tourist attractions. And the cleaning staff did their job, the room is clean and towels are changed. Average: Breakfast was quite normal without much selection to choose from. Same food for the buffet. Bad: The internet is unusable or pretty slow. The lift broke down...
Close to main train station with friendly staff. the showering unit is on the smaller side. do note that you have to carry the luggages up a long flight of stairs breakfast is good.
Hotel was old, location was good as near the train station, room was old and amenities was old too. Staff was not very helpful with the attractions
Pros - Location wise is really convenient, 3 minutes to Termini - Cleanliness is great not seeing any dents - Service is great as well greetings and welcoming guest from the first minute til we check out. - breakfast wasn't top notch but suits a 4 - star rate - lots of restaurants nearby Cons - As it's too near to the main rail station, it gets really noisy all day. - need to pay for drinking water...
I visited this hotel either my mom, she loves everything, the customer service was incredible!!! I loved everything
Very close to Rome rail station. Makes perfect location to use public transportation. Very happy with the service. Everyday they cleaned our room and changed towels. Very friendly and helpful services. Only disappoinent was rooftop bar service.

the staff were incredible and this was the first hotel where they didn’t make a big deal about wanting to check in early and were very accommodating and friendly, location is excellent as it’s a 5 min walk from the main train station and the metro is very close by as well. Rome was very clean and had good amenities . Also I left a personnel item behind and they located it promptly and are organising...
We stayed for 3 nights in early October after touring northern Italy. The suite we had was lovely, clean and the bed comfortable. We didn’t take advantage of the pillow menu options as the standard pillows were satisfactory. The breakfast buffet was an extensive selection of options catering to N American, European, and (I believe) mid-Eastern palettes. The check in and check out process was fluid...
I had a wonderful stay at Starhotels Metropole. The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located — you can reach almost everything by walking, which makes it very convenient for exploring Rome. The staff were excellent, always helpful and welcoming. I want to give special thanks to Osama, who was extremely kind, professional, and attentive. He truly made my stay even more comfortable. I highly recommend...
Excellent service. All the staff were very helpful. Giorgia made us feel extremely welcome. Rooms were very clean and the beds incredibly comfortable. The staff went out of their way to help. We liked it so much that we stayed a second time as it is so close to the main train station. Highly recommended!!
We were able to check in two hours early and they upgraded our room with a king size bed. The room was incredibly spacious and clean. The staff was so nice from the reception desk to the maintenance staff. The walk from the train station was safe and only 10 minutes (5 of those minutes being trying to get out). Absolutely would recommend this hotel for your stay in Rome.
Highly recommend! Our room faced the internal courtyard and was blissfully quiet, spacious with thoughtful inclusions such as mineral water and coffee maker. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean and well appointed, as well very well located in a good area. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. The rooms are old fashioned and the bathroom was dirty and there was a bad smell. The location is not good too far from the city. I had to take two or three different public transports every day. The breakfast was just okay and the service was polite
ATTENTION: this hotel is not designed to accommodate large three-axle buses, for this reason our driver was forced to look for parking on the motorway and spend the night on the bus! outside the city, near the airport, there are a lot of good hotels with convenient access by large buses!
The courtoisie and the professionalism of the staff was excellent. I was upgraded in a Big rooms with balcony and wonderful view to Rome and the Vatican for the same price!

Had a really amazing stay here. Great Customer service, great amenities and great stay. Location is a little bit of a drive for the Rome city centre but overall great stay.
So close to the metro, get out of Rome without being far away! Buy a daily pass for 7.5 euro or so and ride straight to the circus Maximus, colosseum etc in just a few minutes. No need to buy tickets in advance for the train, tap your card and go. Hotel is nice, multi lingual staff, amazing breakfast, clean up to date rooms. Good place to stay for home base to explore Rome!
Excellent hotel. Excellent service and location. Excellent rooms…. 5-7 minutes to Laurentia metro station.. 15 minutes to the Colosseum by metro, 25 minutes to Termini. Quiet, peaceful place.. Within walking distance of more than a dozen cafes, pizzerias and restaurants with an irresistible Italian flavor. The carabinieri department 1 minute away completely rid the area of madrigals. Excellent European...
The rooms were decent, comfy beds and everything was clean. I was expecting a bit more variety at breakfast, but it wasn’t a big deal for me. The worst part was the service. Decent price for Rome, service is overall good. City tax is ridiculous, 90 euro for 2 people for 6 nights. Think about this before you decide to come to Rome!

This is a very nice hotel. It's in a quiet location, slightly outside the city centre. It's actually within walking distance of Rome's famous sights, one just needs to cross over to the Tiber river and walk for an hour along the river bank (which it seems nobody but me does). The neighbourhood nearby is slightly mixed, but directly from the hotel one neither hears nor sees that. The hotel operates...
The location is a bit remote, the hotel room is average, but the attitude of the hotel front desk staff is really good! There is a great restaurant nearby.
Very welcoming staff, great room size and bathroom.  The hotel is very clean and fresh.
The room is ok and the front desk is friendly. The location is not in the city center, but the hotel has a taxi voucher to the Colosseum area, which is 12 euros one way, which is quite convenient. Towels are often missed.
More enthusiastic and thoughtful
A very, very good hotel. Although the location is a bit far from the city and the central station, a taxi cost about 16 euros a day, but the hotel rooms are indeed much better than those in the city. We can definitely recommend this hotel. The reception staff went out of their way to be helpful. We made use of the free shuttle to the metro station which made access to the city centre very straight forward. We were also able to recharge our car free of charge! Comfy beds, generously sized family room and ensuite and good breakfast selection rounded the stay off perfectly.
It's perfect and clean hotel to stay in rome and they have a very good service 👍
Not close to city centre but has a secured car parking, which is a plus. Clean room, decent breakfast and great staff. Enjoyed staying here
Need to use transport to access to the nearest metro station. Luckily there’s a free shuttle, however, it is shuttle only operating hourly. If too many takers, you will have to wait or take public transport your own. The free shuttle can only take 4 persons at once.
The hotel is very far from the downtown far from all tourists attractions, it’s suite for some travelers with the car because they have a parking space not quite suitable for the travelers who not traveling with own vehicles

I stayed for three consecutive nights, and I had some cash in my room. On the second day, I discovered 300 Euros missing. Just a reminder to everyone: please keep your valuables safe and secure.
The hotel was very clean, both in the guest rooms and the common areas, and the service was reliable and efficient. The breakfast offered a good variety of tasty options. Although it is a short walk from Termini Station, the location is convenient, with a pharmacy nearby. Overall, it is a comfortable and well-situated hotel!
The hotel is conveniently located near Termini train and metro stations, and there's a supermarket nearby, handy for picking up water. However, dining options in the immediate vicinity appeared somewhat limited. The room wasn't particularly spacious; our triple room was equipped with one double bed and one single bed. Basic toiletries (toothbrush, shampoo, shower gel) were provided, but complimentary...
The room was fantastic and very modern, with excellent air conditioning. Upon initial check-in, we discovered the room lock was broken. The hotel itself is great overall — friendly staff and nice rooms. However, our room felt quite dated. There were no USB ports in the sockets, which you’d expect from a modern hotel by now. I recently stayed at this hotel and while there were a few positives, the overall experience was disappointing due to a series of overlooked details and frustrating issues. Very nice hotel. Clean and cozy. It shows with their 4-star hotel ratings. The service is great. There's no kettle in the room, and we asked for it, and they provided it right away. The room has no air-conditioning as well (I think because of the government's requirement), we need to ask to turn it on, and again, they did it right away. Breakfast is great.

The hotel is located in the Montecitorio Palace Square where the Italian House of Representatives is located. It is very safe and has an excellent location. It is only a 5-minute walk from the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain and 10 minutes from Piazza di Spagna. The room is large and comfortable. It will be my first choice next time I come.
The hotel building is from the 19th century and is a cultural relic, so the facilities are relatively old and the soundproofing is very average. If you mind the noise, don't stay here. The hotel service is OK, but the male waiter didn't take the initiative to help with the luggage when I left, which is a bit of a minus. The auntie cleaned the room very well and would help you fold your pajamas. The...
I visited this place for my honeymoon and was very satisfied with the location, service, and breakfast. The location is really the best!
Near to the parliament and feels safe. Many popular attractions are nearby too! Love the room and it was a pleasant stay! The breakfast buffet was quite standard though and thought it could be better.

Rome, Via Della Camilluccia 687 🧭 Map
I stayed 6 nights in this hotel for a visit to Rome and the Ryder Cup. The only negative point I can mention is that the hotel is located a bit outside the center and in the immediate vicinity there is no catering or shopping to be found. Furthermore, nothing but positive about this hotel: a beautiful room with modern equipment and perfectly maintained every day, helpful reception, a fine restaurant...
staff is vey friendly, very good and varied breakfast
I travelled solo but as part of a Cosmos tour group. The fridge did not cool down for 2 days. The safety deposit box never worked despite promises it would be fixed. There wasn't a kettle. The fitness area is 10 euros extra for one hour unless there is a sport group staying there in which case they get exclusive use. It's a frequent case.
Very friendly reception. All worked out fine and according to expectations. I didn't use the facilities, hence my 3 average score.
Not a bad hotel for the money. A little tired in the rooms and the breakfast is limited.
I stayed in this hotel at the height of the heatwave in July was part of a Cosmos tour. Rooms were clean but they were having air conditioning issues so it made for an uncomfortable stay. One night it rained and, I'm not sure why but when showering I flooded the bathroom. The buffet breakfast was suburb.
