Since the hotel is near the airport, the taxi charge from downtown Rome was €55 (the fixed charge). The hotel is 13 km (9 miles) from the airport. They arranged out taxi to the airport for 4 am for a fixed charge of €40 (12 minutes drive). The hotel is surprisingly large and functions as a convention hotel. The room was very large with a balcony (see photos). Well maintained and smells great. (Room...
I’m a Titanium Elite Bonvoy member and have rarely noticed any benefit to that until I checked in at this place. They have an awesome 24/7 executive lounge with breakfast, happy hour, snacks etc. The rooms were comfortable. The staff was very friendly. This hotel is showing some signs of its age but I really enjoyed my stay here.
Nice and huge hotel located near the airport. I would suggest having car to stay there since there is literally nothing around. Check-in was fast though I had only 1 person in front of me. Rooms are pretty big and the AC in that room and hallways are really strong. Given the fact it was so hot in Rome, we appreciated the strong AC. Stayed only for one night, we had the view on the huge tropical pool...
The location is not convenient to see tourist sites in the city. The room was decent size and quality. It is nice to have a tub in one room with a sink and a shower, commode, sink, and bidet in the other bathroom. I don't know if the fridge runs when the card is not in the slot.
This was a great stay. Some portions of the hotel are admittedly due for some updating, but our rooms were great, the breakfast was awesome, the executive lounge was well appointed, and the staff was simply outstanding in all of our interactions. It's about 30 Euro for a taxi to the airport. Overall, definitely recommend. Thanks to the staff for a wonderful stay.
Great Hotel with really good restaurant. I absolutely loved the food that Flavio, the Head Chef, made and the service of Francesco has been exquisite, thank you so much! Had a pleasant 2 overnight stay, the rooms have been cleaned daily, the AC (and it's summer) has been on all the time, so that was great! There's a small but good gym, and a big swimming pool where I've had lots of fun going on and...

We were very impressed with this hotel. Ideally located for us as we needed to get to and from Termini easily. The design is really interesting and carried through down to the honey scented toiletries. Lovely roof top cafe. Rooms were comfortable and quiet...ours was onto an internal courtyard. All of the staff we met were lovely and very kind. Special thanks to Marco on the front desk. We would definitely...
Very good location for our purposes, spacious and elegant rooms, nice bathroom with well working hairdryer. Fantastically fast Internet connection. Breakfast with many options. Very kind staff both at the reception and in the restaurant. Two small issues which we had, one was weird, stale smell in the bathroom, don't know what it was, maybe from plumbing. Another was somewhat odd AC control, even when...
the best hotel in the world! We had to cancel our stay and we didn’t have a free cancellation and dispite that, the hotel’s staff was very kind and helped us to reschedule our stay without additional payment. Our stay was great, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was rich and tasty. We tried the spa and it was amazing. The hotel is new and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay so much...
This is a 3 star hotel. The rooms and rugs are out dated. Rugs actually coming up from the floor. The bathroom water in the shower goes from scolding hot to ice cold, back and forth, without even touching it. The amenities are great. The staff is kind. But this is not 4 star, it’s 3 star at best. Breakfast is gross but dinner is tasty yet over priced. I wouldn’t stay here again. Find something...
Fantastic, modern hotel in the heart of Rome. A short walk from the train station and central to all the main tourist spots. The hotel offered brilliant amenities, a wonderful rooftop restaurant, underground spa facilities and clean spacious rooms. Plus all the staff were attentive, friendly and helpful.
This was a perfect hotel! It's 4star but the service is amazing and gives you a great higher standard feeling! Rooms were spacious and outstanding location! One small note were the showers where the water came either very hot or mild/cold no in between but hey it was pretty hot in the city so can't take many points! I highly recommend the hotel as it's close to a major station, amenities around and...

The hotel was clean and a good distance to everything while still being quiet. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was tasty with a large variety of options. All the staff were great! Especially breakfast staff Rene, Edgar, Debra and Alam, they made the morning breakfast a happy experience to start our day :)
The hotel is relatively central, with the proximity to the Colosseum being a major plus for anyone looking to explore the city. The staff are polite but could be a bit friendlier. A warm smile or a proper greeting was sometimes missing. On occasion, it felt like the staff were ignoring guests, which didn’t leave the best first impression. The biggest downside was the beds, which definitely need replacing...
Rooms are good but could use some better equipment and such. The service however is absolutely great! The staff were really friendly and we were able to communicate in English easily as well as with some broken Italian. The location is also amazing because of the lots of nearby bus stops that can take you all around Rome in just minutes and the underground station being just 3 minutes away in foot...
The location of this hotel is amazing! I was able to check in slightly early and had no issues during my stay here. My AC worked well and my room was perfect for a solo traveler. The breakfast is also good.
The room was on the nicer side, but the AC did not work well and the room periodically shakes because of the subway. Not enough to wake someone up but definitely noticeable. Wifi did not work at all during stay. The location however is perfect for getting too most of the tourist areas
Great hotel in an excellent location near Rome's most important sites! All the places in Rome's center are located in a walking distance from this hotel so we didn't need to use public transport during our stay. To the Termini station from the hotel is also only 15 minutes by walking. Rooms are in good condition, AC is included and it works. Only the bathrooms are slighty outdated and could use a...

Great location so close to the Termini train station, lots of delicious restaurants nearby. The rooms are more modern than most I was seeing in the area. Beautiful color palette in the room, and the bathrooms were luxurious for sure. Service is great, rooftop lounge is charming, breakfast spread satisfies. Plenty of sights in walkable distance as well, even walked all the way to the colosseum and...
Beautiful lobby, great breakfast, central location. Right by museums and the train station if you don't want to walk too much, but also centrally located next to many things to do. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Has a good restaurant and rooftop bar with excellent views at night.
We have stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed it all. Very close to the transport hub, although we enjoyed our walk to the historic sites each day. The room was spotless, the staff are great. The breakfast was enjoyable and easily kept us going until lunch time. On our last day we were able to use the facilities until our train at 10pm. So we checked out, stored our luggage and set off for another...
The hotel is very nice inside, spacious, the service in the lobby, restaurant, cleaning etc is very good and friendly. They helped with any questions immediately. It does worth getting breakfast here added to the room, the selection is big and everything tastes good. Everything is fresh. The location is excellent, very close to the train station ( 5 min walk ), airport is 40 min, downtown is 10 min...
Perfect location 5 minutes walk from the train station. Large fluffy towels in the bathroom. Polite, helpful, professional staff on the reception desk and in the breakfast room. I was lucky to be upgraded from a standard single room to a beautiful double room. I loved the style of the bedroom furniture and the colour is my favourite and helped me to decide to stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable...
Location is 5 minutes walk from Terminintrain station so it's super easy and it's a short cab ride from the main touristy places. Hotel staff was 5 stars but my room..922...must have had the water heater nearby as the sound of running water is there...24/7. Very close to Rome rail station. Makes perfect location to use public transportation. Very happy with the service. Everyday they cleaned our room and changed towels. Very friendly and helpful services. Only disappoinent was rooftop bar service.

Despite being a bit further from the city center, this hotel was a good value for my sightseeing stay in Rome. The staff were helpful and the room was comfortable. Bus stops are close and the front desk has taxi service on speed dial.
The furnitures of the rooms are pretty outdated and old. There is no coffee machine or water boiler in the room which is quite surprising for a four star hotel! The facilities need repair especially in the toilet. Room was too dark and one of the lights had malfunction. The coffees provided at breakfast time were made in a rush and with low quality.
Alessandro is a gem. He was kind and courteous as he checked us in. He recommended a fabulous restaurant right across the street, La Mucca Pazza. He placed us in a lovely room but there was mold in the bathtub underneath the handles. Other than that, the room was large and comfortable and easily accessible to get a taxi to the airport. Good place to stay away from the busy city and get a good night...
I had a fantastic stay at Precise House Mantegna Roma. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable. The location was convenient for exploring Rome, and breakfast had a good variety of fresh options. Overall, it’s a great value for the price, and I’d definitely recommend it.
The best experience in a hotel I’ve had so far. All the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, the room was exceptional. Breakfast was 10/10 all the fruits served are always fresh and delicious. I would definitely come back here again, just a perfect experience overall.
After trying several hotels in Precise House's same area of Rome, I can say it is the best one I've found – and I regret not finding it early. Great rooms, the ones on the top floors have remarkably big balconies, the restaurant's food is great and breakfast was amazing. It delivers way above its price point

Room was okay. Breakfast was the exactly the same during our two nights stay. No bidet. No free bottled water and slippers, which is typical nowadays for European hotels
Very enjoyable stay outside the main tourist area of Rome, however convenient for the Olimpico stadium. We used bus no. 32 from near the hotel to access Rome centre, and from their metro or walked yo main sites. Very comfy bed, good in room facilities and nice bathroom. I was very happy with my room. Never used the on site bars or restaurants however good to have on hand. Taxi to Termimi at 6am...
The hotel is a very good. Good rooms. Good ssrvice. Good breakfast and dishes are cooked well. I have been here 1 week in Jan 23 and 1 week in February 23. When returning to Rome now, I havent considered any other place. I recommend it 100%. Distance from Piazza del Popolo is ok. Not a big deal. You sleep well here. Quiet. Very important.
The hotel is a little away from Rome's center. Therefore it takes some time to get to the places of interest. However, there is the possibility to take a bus because there's a bus station just a few minutes away. The rooms were a little small, but the furniture was alright. If you eat for less money in the restaurant in the basement, you shouldn't expect too much. The pasta dishes are alright, but...
This hotel is nice inside. The rooms are fine and comparable to American hotels..my room was very small but was for one. The breakfast is very good.
Bit old, but ok, place. Service wasn't the nicest one. The conditioner was broken, and in our room was like 40 C something. No apologies from the hotel side.. Just open the window 😌 ... I would say it's more, maybe 3* not 4*.

We loved our experience staying at the Starhotels Metropole. When we arrived to check in our staff member Paola was very helpful. Paola could tell we were disappointed and upgraded us with no charge to ensure we got a...
Everything was excellent! Air conditioning, cleanliness, no issues. We stayed in a room located away from the street (interior facing window) on the second floor (Room 216), so there was no noise at all. The group we traveled with under Gate 1 Travel had a few mentioning traffic noise because their room windows faced the street. This is due to its very convenient downtown location a mile (1.6 kilometers...
We enjoyed our stay at star metropole!!! VERY close to the train station and just far enough away from the tourist traps to make you feel like you get a more authentic experience. The rooms were nice and clean! The front desk was very nice and so were the breakfast staff! I would stay here again!
This seems like a very busy hotel and we were not able to check-in early since our international flight arrived in the morning. Besides that staff was friendly, breakfast buffet was great and an easy walking distance to the Termini station. Room was spacious and clean as well. Also there are some nice restaurants (For example: Vattani) in walking distance.
Best hotel room of our trip! Three people in one spacious room was no problem. Shower was amazing. Beds are hard, and all slept well. Plenty of outlets, too. Location was great. We were sick of Italian food as it was the last day of our trip and ate at a good Chinese restaurant around the corner.
We visited 6 countries on our trip around Europe and this was one of the top hotels we visited. It was impeccably clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was the best value and best food of any hotel we visited. Our walk to the train station was about 4 blocks.

This hotel is not as bad as some reviewers decribe it. Yes it needs a bit of refurb, few buckets of paint to refresh its deco and some thorough cleanup, but we liked it. We decided to take a 3 day break and pick a Hotel near to Termini, slap dab in the middle of Rome, close to all the sights. Well, it was less than a 4minute walk to termini, you can see it from our window. Fabulous place to stay when in Rome. Very close to the Termini & Hop On Hop Off Buses which is a big plus as everything is walkable!!! Lovely hotel however the shower cubicle is extremely small. Staff were friendly but definitely a great location!!
The hotel is descent, clean and indeed its very close to the city center and in a 3 min walk from the central station giving access to trains, busses and metro very quick. The rooms are a little small though. They didn’t have a restaurant or room service.
They were very friendly, and the breakfast was great. The room is a bit old for my taste, but good nonetheless.
Very close to the Roma Termini train station and in walking distance of restaurants and museums. I would stay there again without hesitating. It is a very inexpensive hotel with excellent service, decent rooms, and a nice continental breakfast. I was in Rome for a conference and would recommend this place to anyone.
We were moved to Hotel Luce, adjacent to Archimede, although we had confirmed the booking before our arrival through a particular message. Unfortunately, the staff provided us with an individual bedroom, which lee us to ask for a change. It was changed, but the preparation should be better
there was no fresh fruit, the eggs were spoiled, the bread was dried out, the tables and chairs were dirty and full of stains. The room is very dated, the beds are terribly bad, the blankets smell musty and are dusty, the curtains are broken and full of holes. the exhaust system in the bathroom is very noisy, full of dust. there is no shower curtain or room divider. the drain in the bathroom smells...
The beds are so light they moved when we sat on them and leaned against the wall to watch tv, which I'm sure was very irritating for the people under us. Love this place! Second time staying here. Rooms are spacious and nice. Tvs in rooms could use an upgrade to bring them into the modern eras. Staff are super kind and accommodating. Bar downstairs is amazing but they need to reconsider their 25€ per drink prices. Very excessive. All in all highly recommend and hope they take my comments I to consideration. Preggo
After traveling through Europe for 2 weeks this was by far my favorite place that we stayed. The rooms were spacious, we had a huge room with columns. I loved the green interior and all the decor. The bathroom and closet were huge!! We even had two balconies. The bed was extremely comfortable, we got robes and slippers. The location was safe, and close to several things. I love this hotel!

A fabulous experience - older rooms with older furnishings, but the history and space more than makes up for the lack of updates in the suite in which we stayed. Room is large, though it could do with a lick of paint, having said that it is coming to the end of season I guess, we were lucky and got a south facing large balcony. Rooms serviced every day. Breakfast excellent, plenty of choice. Two lifts, fast and efficient. Staff pleasant and helpful, recommended an excellent restaurant not far away on first night.
A little disappointing for a 4 star hotel. Don't get me wrong, the hotel was clean (apart from the downstairs toilet), our room was clean upon arrival, good size and a very comfy bed. The rooms were a very good size and spotlessly clean, and the 24-hour reception service was a plus. Breakfast was also really good with alot of options. However, there is no cafeteria inside the hotel or nearby, which was inconvenient. Also, the vending machine only accepts coins—it would be better if more facilities were available for guests. Overall had lovely time in Rome
We stayed for 4 nights and our stay was average due to so many factors mostly related to room as for the first time when we checked in the room was not adequately cleaned and have to ask for a room move so the receptionist did the change the room but have to come down to collect the key for it on the same floor after entering the room we found it was clean enough but I assume there were not enough...

Quite a good hotel. It is quite far away from city. Connectivity can be an issue. Hotel has a shuttle service for its guests in morning and evening to nearby metro station. It is economical than other hotels. Lots of parking place available.
Straight forward hotel. Little out of city, may not be very suitable for people visiting for tourism, as one has to travel a lot to reach to attractions in Rome.
Very good hotel ! Food was amazing... Would be better if they could replace the hotel elevators with more larger and faster elevators..
The location is midway between the Vatican and the fco airport. The family room is large and easily fits 5 people. The breakfast is okay but a little pricey.

This hotel is directly across from the main train station in Rome, which is why I selected it. It is not altogether a bad place to stay, but it is a bit dated. We both agreed it could of done with a set of drawers as well as the small wardrobe. It was clean and the cleaners came in every day. I believe you have to ask for tea and coffee at reception for your room (we took...
We stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of our trip before embarking on a cruise. We picked it specifically for the decor. I wanted to feel like we stepped back in time for my families first ever experience in Italy. The location was close enough to be able to walk to some major sites, close enough to a lot of restaurant options, but far enough away from the crowds to be quiet and not crowded...
Middle ground between main touristy attractions. Clean rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast. A bit of a drive to the Vatican City, walking distance (if you LOVE walking) to the Colosseum. In a more quiet area. Close to one of the train stations. Overall lovely.
Great location to tour the heart of Rome The Hotel Romanico Palace was beautifully furnished The location was superb & central for all the sights in the city. The greeting at reception on arrival was very welcoming & warm Janina on reception was friendly and & assisted us on arranging a few delightful personal surprises to make our stay so memorable. Janina was simply outstanding on catering for our...
The "Spa" part costs an additional 150,- per person per day and needs previous reservation. All in all an ok hotel, but not 4 stars and for the price you can find better.

Basic hotel with friendly staff. Room floors a bit dirty on arrival and it looked like the door had been kicked in at one point so the deadbolt didn't lock completely. I never felt unsafe though. The fan/aircon didn't work in the room we had but we were only sleeping there so it was fine. Room tidied daily and breakfast was nice, beds clean and comfortable, thankfully the windows opened widely so...
The hotel was as expected. Rooms are not too small and clean. The shower need a refurbish. The location was not bad. Just 15min by train to airport. If you prefer Uber the hotel is near the highway. Sure, its outside of Rome, but there is a nice cafe / bakery around the corner, a authentic restaurant across the street ans supermarket, pharmacia and tabako shop, where you can buy the bus tickets nearby...
It is a very handy hotel for certain locations, but not for the common tourist ones (going to the centre of Rome would take about an hour on public transport, but it is an informing experience). The hotel has good rooms (but ait conditioning can be quite noisy - it seems that there is some upgrading of the biilding). The staff is really outstanding. For various reasons we arrived after midnight, yet...
Close to the airport, which was the main reason I picked this hotel. Rooms are super basic and shabby. Staff are very nice. The only co plaint I have is about street noise. Kids were yelling outside close to midnight and then at 1am the garbage trucks came for their round. There are very few food options near the hotel and even they are not not great.
We chose this hotel in order to stay within our budget and close to some family who live nearby. The hotel fitted our requirements and was acceptable for a short stay for a budget hotel. The area is not served well by public transport links or additional facilities and would not be a good choice as a tourist hotel for those hoping to visit the centre of Rome. The facilities within the hotel were clean...
Cheap and cheerful hotel but this one is extremely easy to find from the main road through to Rome - the bed was big and very comfortable and our room was larger than most budget hotels. A quiet location with a few little local eateries and a mini Carrefour a few steps away.

I recently stayed at the Impero Hotel in Rome, which seemed like had been renovated and given a facelift. Overall, my experience was positive primarily due to its excellent location. A couple of the staff members were friendly and helpful. However, it seemed that most of the staff were older and appeared to be just going through the motions of their job. The level of customer delight was lacking from...
Charming hotel a short walking distance to Rome’s main attractions and the train station. Excellent front desk service, they remember who you are and greet you each time you walk in. The rooms are kept very clean and the air conditioning works wonderfully. The shower was small but otherwise everything was great. There’s a small fridge in the room as well. Great centrally located hotel, would absolutely...
This hotel is just a short walk from the Rome Termini and is in a perfect location to get to the major attractions. The front desk will order a cab for you to take you to places like the Vatican, which is a bit far to walk. The room we had was tight but comfortable, as was the bathroom and shower. These are very typical of the room sizes that we have found all over Italy. There was a lovely...
Nice place to stay. I had a late flight and it appeared that not all hotel is Rome has 24h checkin desk, but at Impero they do have. Nice and friendly staff, ready to help. The room was not too small as I expected, everything was clean and fresh. I tried breakfast only once, it was fine, nothing special. Near the hotel there are a lot of good restaurants. Termini station and metro are very close, it...
Excellent location, cannot complain about that. Their website describes free parking but we were not able to find such a thing. We have two different toilets in our room and neither work properly however they work enough so it's not a big deal. The staff is very very friendly. The location is amazing, you are walking distance to almost everything.
The hotel is very well located, especially for those using the train, being close to Termini and tourist attractions. The common areas are good, with a lounge right after breakfast and on the first floor, with armchairs and tables, in addition to the terrace with a view of the dome of the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. Suggestions: For breakfast, a greater variety of fresh fruits, natural juices...

The service in this hotel is outstanding. When we arrived in Rome the airline lost my luggage. I was very concerned and upset to the point it was difficult to enjoy my trip. I notified the front desk "Patrick" of the situation to see if he had any suggestions to recover my effects prior to boarding our cruise ship, I literally had nothing for a 10 day cruise. Patrick told me he would make some call...
The staff at the hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions. We absolutely loved the drinks at the bar. The service was exceptional ☺️ Francesco was also very friendly and we had great conversations about Rome and its landmarks...
The hotel is clean and very convenient to the tourist spots of Rome. The staff is very helpful and kind (Patrick our check-in agent was awesome and had great recommendations on spots to eat), they have a small bar/restaurant on-site (though we didn't eat, just some aperitivos). Rooms are a bit outdated but are kept very clean and most importantly the air-con works well!
The rooms, service, atmosphere, and (especially) the location were PERFECT! We couldn’t imagine a better stay for our first time in Rome! Will definitely be staying here when we’re back. Exceeded expectations from check in to check out, and even afterwards! Would recommend 1000x over!
We just got back from our vacation in Italy and we stayed at Hotel Nazionale at the start and the end of our two week trip. We were in Rome for 3 nights mid July and again for 3 nights at the end of July. As soon as you enter, the staff are extremely kind and a pleasure to talk to. We were greeted by the staff daily and they always had a smile on their faces. Patrick was especially helpful and kind...
An amazing place to stay in the heart of Rome. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, and the cocktails in the bar were amazing as well. The view from our hotel room window (we were on the 6th floor) was magical. You could see St. Peters Basilica clearly in the distance. I will definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in Rome.
