YellowSquare Hostel
Rome, Via Palestro 51 🧭 Map
Very nice hotel, tho it’s far from a lot of things but fun people and very clean!
Overall not bad. But be careful of your roommates may be super loud even in the quiet night at night.
Yellow Square was a great place to stay as a solo Traveler. It’s secure and clean and they have a lot of activities and info for travelers. Staff was great, really friendly and helpful. There is also a laundromat which is super convenient. Great stay!
Everything is good. It’s good place to live. In addition, they provide free drinks and pasta.
Well managed hostel! Very suitable for backpackers. Provide free drinks, kitchen to prepare light meal and laundry machine (coins- based)
Great accommodation. Location had many bus stops and a few metro stations nearby. Was easy to travel around Rome as well as make a visit to Vatican City. There’s a few mini marts and supermarkets nearby which makes it easy to grab some snacks. Had multiple restaurants to try out as well.

Staff was nice, breakfast is 1 croissant per person. Room was slightly prison looking! 2 single, very uncomfortable beds. Lockers in rooms. Was about a 20/30 min walk to colloseum, Spanish steps etc
Very nice place to stay. Good location, clean + delicious breakfast. Would recommend!
the hostel was not central but you could walk to most of the touristic attractions, good local neighbourhood, the rooms, the bathrooms, the sheets were so clean, staff was nice, ac worked perfectly fine, had a great stay here, despite them giving me the wrong key multiple times but ignore that

A bit expensive. The location is okay but it is not near to central train station for metro. I like the rooftop bar, it is so chilled. The bathroom and toilet is clean. There is no curtain so no privacy at all. The staff are friendly and helpful, teaching me how to buy a metro ticket jn Rome. An average generator hostel I would said. Yes generator is a chain-brand hostel so the quality would be...
Amazing place to stay, with great ambiance. Perfect for solo travellers. Felt like home. Was safe and very clean. The bar tender was sweet kind guy. Highly recommended :)
Nice view, great location, comfortable bed, they cleaning everyday, You made my 3days 👍🏻 The price was abit high than my budget before my reservation but generally It was fine
We booked at the last minute and the location was perfect. The reception staff were amazing and so helpful, they should teach others how to do it properly!
A nice place to stay with your friends or Family in Rome. It is near the Termini Central Station so you can travel conveniently to many place. Also, a bus stop is just 3 minutes walking from it, so you can connect to any kind of vehicles in Rome. Best room quality and new furniture.
I like the stay overall, as the location is pretty close to Roma Termini and the room was fine. What threw me off a little was that I booked a female dormitory, but when I came in the room I saw there was a man inside. It turned out that he was brought in by my neighbour without paying and they were drinking there together. Thankfully the receptionist was understanding and sent a security to walk the...

Its a house so has more of a personal feel. The living room is quite comfortable and the location is very central. Owners are also friendly and accommodating. Room has large lockers
Family run hostel! Warm welcome, elevator, full control of the room AC, comfy common room, en-suite bathroom in the dorm, and clean/comfortable bed. Couldn’t ask for more especially at this price!! I didn’t see the free breakfast mentioned in the kitchen, but maybe it was an off day, and it didn’t trouble me too much to walk down the street to a cafe.
Thank you so much for this awesome accommodation. You and your family are very kind, I really enjoyed it in your Hostel
Roman Holidays is a hostel run with the heart. The owners treated me as a family member. It's super well located and the cost is very reasonable. It's very clear in my mind that whenever I come back to Rome I won't stay anywhere else but here :-D
A bit far to walk to some places, but has a super friendly atmosphere and rooms are a great place to cool off after a long day out. It also feels very safe and has a decent kitchen.
The guy who runs the hostel was SO nice. He always offered biscuits and coffee for breakfast. It was very clean. Honestly a nice location too - right by the train station. I had such a nice experience here, and met some great people. No doubt, this is the place I would stay if I ever return to Rome. Also, each room has air conditioning which was lovely.

Roma Scout Center Hostel
Rome, Largo Dello Scautismo 1 🧭 Map
The hotel in general is great, unfortunately we received separate beds even though we reserved a large bed. Plastic cups at the breakfast buffet aren't a good choice for a scout center. Personal was friendly. Prices were normal but room service was rather bad, they didn't even touch used towels and sometimes not even bedsheets
That's a good place in a safe location. The only problem was wifi which was sometimes disconnected. Totally I recommend this hostel to you.
Secure, clean, silent. I got a better experience than expected. Close to many bus stops and to the metro. In the night you do not feel insecure walking in the area. I recommend, but did not love the shower area (it's too open to the exterior and you do not have a place to change, you have to do it in a toilet cubicle)
Located in a residential district, the hotel is very big and well kept. Considered as a hostel for scout, you can't expect much: the furniture are essential, and communal bathrooms are cleaned multiple times per day, at the reception they are given lots of information about the city of Rome. As a venue for events or lessons, however, is a bit anomalous: the rooms are small, but well maintained, the...
I was at the scout center because a friend bad taken a room there. The rooms are spartan but the environment la confortable and familiar
The air conditioning was broken. In the summer it is especially important, and it was the right feutch and warm in the nights. The shower was also dirty. The location is great and very quiet with good connection options

Old and worn, but also clean, and within walking distance to downtown for a very reasenable price. Comfi bed = good sleep. Free WiFi and a decent continental brekfast included. I will book this hotel next time again, for sure.
All of the staff members were very friendly and helpful. The location is easily reachable as it is close to Termini station. We took the Leonardo Express from Fiumicino Airport and walked just 20 minutes from Termini to the hotel. And the hotel is on walking distance of the Manzoni subway station. Average, location is fine but not the best as its not close to a lot, but easy to reach transportation. Breakfast is below average. Cleanliness was good in my room and bathroom. Beds not very comfy. Very hard to find.
Incredible staff! They’re extremely knowledgeable of the city and provide tips when traveling to main attractions. Provided breakfast is nice and atmosphere is relaxing.
The best place to stay...stay here n i assure u will write the same for others...the best team to attend..woth well equipped kitchen rooms , clean n spacious rooms and washrooms too...
Clean and quiet. It's a little out of the way but that's not a problem for me. I'd definitely stay here again.
one of the good hotels in and around rome. been there, nice breakfast and kitchen space to cook, good wifi facility. one of the cheapest and good facilitated hostels close to rome termini just 2 km.

A great place to stay in Rome for female travellers,. The facilities are very clean and the rooms are comfortable. The staff are great really friendly and helpful. It is walking distance to many of the sights of Rome and close to public transport. The neighborhood is charming and safe with plenty of nearby restaurants. I really enjoyed my stay here.
A unique place to stay. Many ages of woman and a kind of meeting place in the courtyard for woman of Rome. Clean. And excellent location to trastevere, st Marc's square, pantheon, the river, bus stops, palazzo navona and compi De fuori.
Very welcoming and in a great location! If you have the time visit the Farenese Villa half a block away. Coffee or tea in the morning and staff is always willing to help and advise.
Very nice experience meeting other female solo travelers. The vibe of the hostel is laid back and relaxing. Was easy to feel comfortable
I made so many friends here and met like minded, solo female travellers. Great kitchen and spots to hang out. There's no lock for your bag though, and only one key per room. You also have to pay in cash when you arrive. It got a bit cold at night because it was winter and there weren't many blankets. However, it's in a beautiful, safe location and I felt safe and happy while I was here. Would definitely...

Nice place. Nice stay. But a very professional approach. Might me due to cultural difference.
best hostel in rome except for location. But its near by metro so you don't have to worry
The hostel that has the semblance of an apartment, very cozy. Rooms with a few beds ( more so given that you are sleeping with strangers) very low prices and overall cleanliness excellent. Negative notes, lies quite outside, there is a direct line also of a meter to a hundred meters. Deposit keys for 10 euro. Owner not always present in structure, better to call

We stayed at Legend R.G for three nights and had a triple room booked with breakfast. We were extremely satisfied with the value we got for the price, especially given the ho(s)tel's location, situated right at the main train station. The staff was continuously nice to us, did a great job & assured that we were happy. Also the restaurants on the street were all very very good, considering each restaurant...
Great hostel right next to the termini train station. Free breakfast and coffee. People staying here were all nice, random bunch of people. Beds are comfy albeit a bit cramped. Toilet was clean. People working here really nice.
The hostel itself is situated in a normal apartment complex near Termini Station, which makes it adequately situated for getting to various places around the city. During the day, the door to the main courtyard is unlocked, but at night you use a key to get in, after which you use your room card to enter the hostel and your room. Although I have heard bad things about the areas around Termini, I found...
Clean sheets, good location, good people and complimentary bread in the morning. The only issue was that there was mold on the shower curtain and in the crevices of the wall tiles. Our bathroom smelled like mold and mildew but my friend was staying in a different room and had an incredible experience. His room was super clean and had no mold!
Great hostel, for the price. Free coffee in the morning and clean rooms. It's not that close to the main attractions in Rome though which would be the main downside. Overall well run place just a little far from the colosseum and such things. Very close to main train station which is handy.
Really a nice place,in center of Rome, near to termini station and totally connected to the city. Full of young people, and there is a time for free happy hour, that was so nice to socialize with the guys. Free breakfast at morning, and receptionist totally kindly and smart. For sure i'll be back here!

Fabio and Dominico are amazing hosts at this wonderful hostel. Not only do you get breakfast included every morning, but most nights you get home made pasta or sometimes pizza! It was very clear as well, with spacious bathrooms and a bed...

This hostel has been the most social I've stayed at so far, probably because it's quite small and you can't help but meet all the other guests. The free breakfast and dinner is really great, the dinner is often home made and delicious. The hostel is always kept clean and runs very well, however bathroom areas are very small spaces. It's not the closest to the central areas but it's very close to the...
A small yet friendly and warm hostel located very close to the centre of Rome. It's pretty much a 3 bedroom flat converted into a hostel and has 3-4 mixed dorms accomodating 4-6 people in each. The host is super friendly and gives you amazing tips. A great place to make friends, would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice hostel stay. The only area of improvement was cleanliness I'd say. Though...
I had a lot of fun here. Small, social hostel with breakfast and dinner included. It was easy to meet people to explore the city with. Fabio was very helpful and made every guest feel valued. It is not the most central location but I didn't mind. I could walk to the monuments quickly enough and the metro back if I was tired. I would stay here again if I visit Rome again.
Outstanding hostel! Seriously, been in so many of them... Yet this is very likely the best one I've ever been to. Everything perfect, especially the atmosphere created by the two brothers managing the hostel!

Good price, good roommates, relatively clean room. Mabri was a friendly and welcoming host. Unfortunately there was no common area, so it's not the best hostel for meeting people, but other than that it was a good experience. Note: I am not sure how often they change the blankets. And you may have to bring your own towel.
Funny Palace Hostel is a great place to stay in Rome. The hostel is conveniently located close to the central train station and within walking distance of several attractions. From the outset, Mabri and the staff were fantastic. The map and advice was a great help. The rooms were extremely clean and the beds were comfortable. The showers and bathroom were kept spotless. I would completely recommend...
It was a lovely place to stay, with an extremely helpful host. The room was clean, and so was the bathroom. Check-in was flexible, and the location is unbeatable. It's very central, but not inside the utterly tourist-ridden parts of the city.
You get free wine and breakfast. The owner is very nice, the rooms are clean and I got a free upgrade! Sadly no common area or kitchen.
I felt incredibly safe staying here, it had great proximity to the city and public transportation, and the guy who checked us in gave us a free bottle of wine and planned out a trip itinerary for us! The shower had hot water, everything was clean, and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again :-)
They have laundry service (6 euros wash and dry). The laundry service was nice since you can drop it off and they'll put it in the dryer for you too. They even folded a few shirts for me! The rooms are basically old hotel rooms with a few single beds thrown in. There's no common room to socialize.
