It's fine. Maybe they should have sheets because the comforter only irritated me. It's also not good not having 24-hour reception, since if there's an issue, you can't call, make a complaint, or request a room change.
The bed is quite small, air conditioner isnt working well, kind of hot. Seperare bathroom in your room. The most stupid thing is there is a late check in fees even though you have contacted them through directly phone call.
The beds are close to the person next to you, so privacy is not guaranteed. I felt safe in the women's room this time, but I think it would be difficult if a man was staying with me. The receptionist was kind.
The receptionists are friendly and helpful.Great location.Private clean bathroom.
The location is great, close to Termini Station. The staff are friendly and the facilities are excellent.
Expected it to be pretty janky, but turned out to be nice! Stayed in a six bed room and found the bunks convenient and relatively comfortable. Bathroom was right off the room and had a great shower.

If you plan on cooking make sure that you bring 10-year-old ever do that all the areas great and also the breakfast is also amazing they also offer prepayers in the morning if you're able to catch them before everybody gets to it great value great hotel most book and stay one of my next trip
The dorms are pretty nice but the rest room doors don't lock. The staff is amazing and the volunteers are really friendly. Nearby there is a supermarket but not so many good restaurants and bars, you'll have to travel 15-20 minutes for good places to eat or dine in.
the room is very clean. the location of the room is near the fron desk and near the bar so petty noisy despite the fact that I asked for a quiet room. Other than that, great stay overall
I sprained my ankle before checking in, and the front desk staff were incredibly kind and helpful — they offered me a more accessible bed and even provided ice for my injury. The next day after check-out, I stayed in the lobby for the whole day to rest before my departure, and I truly appreciate their understanding and support. Thank you for making a difficult situation feel so much easier. 🙏
It was a nice and comfortable stay at Hostel Trastevere. Best of all, it is close to bus stops.
I'm not sure if all the rooms are the same, but in room 4, the AC was very loud, making it difficult for me to sleep. Additionally, it was clear that my blanket hadn't been washed before my arrival. The bathroom drain and sink were clogged, and it was no different from a pool.

We had a nice stay in Rome, the hostel is cheap and the San Lorenzo district is great, many nice people, students, many bars and pizzerias and stuff. Toilets we're a little disgusting but in gereral it's very okay, there's a kitchen, people are nice... We can recommend :)
When I was planning my trip to Rome, Italy, I looked for guest houses that were closer to the attractions I wanted to see. There were numerous options, and after careful consideration, I chose San Lorenzo guest house. Given that I am a student, the rates on the internet appeared to be reasonable. However, when I attempted to pay online numerous times prior to my arrival, it would not function. I attempted...
AWESOME COFFEE AND CROISSANTS EVERY MORNING!!!! Really helpful owner, friendly and kind and FUNNY! He called me and my bff TROUBLEMAKERS Spacious place, really airy with great natural light coming in and wifi
Good position in S.Lorenzo near the place and public line, rooms are confortable TV with Sky, air conditioning efficient but a little bit noisy in the night, breakfast Clock at tha appointed time, but very basic, good qualità/price ratio

Clean, very affordable, ideal location
Great location with friendly staff. AC ensuite which is awesome if you're coming during the summer month. Would definitely book again!
This hostel was great! Bathrooms were expectional, rooms were very large, kitchen was relatively small but still nice. Martin was very welcoming and helpful, he pointed out all the places on the map for us and even suggested an itinerary for us based on how much time we had in Rome. The only kicker was that it wasn't 24 hour reception which was a little bit annoying. Overall great value for the price
Convenient hostel located near the metro line. Marvin was very helpful and outlined the best sights to see in Rome!
Nice place. Rooms, kitchen and bathroom very well. Everything always very clean. Friendly staff although not very punctual.
Good value for money. No 24hr reception, but manager is at the times needed. Basic, but comfortable facilities. Clean and safe.

Very clean! Would be even better if the windows could be fitted with some soundproofing strips.
If the quality is not high and the budget is limited, you can live there. There is no key or access card after check-in. The landlord Mike is very nice. If you trust him and you can put large luggage in the room.
The gentleman at reception is very friendly, kind, and respectful. The mattresses aren't very good.
The staff are very friendly and provide excellent service, the rooms are small and there is almost no space for personal belongings, the kitchen is small and there is no living room.
Friendly, affordable, and within walking distance of Termini Station
They treated me as if I were my family, super attentive, we were like a big family, I made many friends

Very friendly staff just a couple of minutes walk from the main station. Internet connection revelaed to be unexpectedly reliable. However there was no clean water readily available to drink and no hot water in room. There is also a 3€ mndatory charge per night for the sheets on the bed Overall, decent and cheap stay in a sufficiently clean ans quiet hostel.
First, don't get me wrong, I felt comfy enough at this place to recommend it to anyone who's on a tight budget. But I think it's only fair to describe exactly what the hostel is like. I've been to dozens of hostels around the world and I can tell you I've seen worse, but definitely better, too. Pros: + awesome location, right by the train station + rooms are big, we had plenty of space in the mixed...
great hostal recomment it to anyone that wants to come to rome for a great vacation.. the owner mario its very cool guy.. and the rest of the working krew is very nice and helpfull..
The front desk staff were really helpful, gave great tips on what to do during my very limited stay, and were very friendly. The room had its own bathroom/shower, but didn't have a lock nor a shower curtain. Absolutely wonderful place, and near the center of town (two minutes from the main train station).
I'm a guest very satisfied from the service offered by this facility with a very professional staff that always with a smile and kindness make you feel at home. The customer service always clean and recommended this property to anyone who wants to have the memories unforgettable.
The experience was great, the people at the hostel very kind and attentive. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, and all very clean and tidy. This super well located, close to practically almost everything in rome. The nights in the room common with Mario and Johanes were the most fun in Europe. Super recommended!!!

Great place to stay for young people travelling. Great location and comfortable beds. Anis welcomed us at reception and could not have been nicer.
Great hostel, very helpful receptionist and in that price this is the best place to stay in Rome. The rooms are large and very clean and it's quiet. Near to the termini station.
+ Good location (near main station) + Good room for the price - No towels (even for additional price, they just don’t have it). Quite dissapointed, cause in the pictures they show towels on beds. - Cold in the room, there were additional blankets in the wardrobe, but it was still cold - Room had a shower, but not a toilet. There’s only one toilet and it’s shared.
Location is very good. But a little difficult to find it. Room are nice.
Very nice BnB. Good location. Restaurants, shops, metro, bus station are all nearby. Beds are very comfortable, room is spacious, everything is neat and tidy. The owner is a quick responder and helps at any time of the day.
Good location, near termini station, central station in rome. Clean room & clean bathroom. Easy to find halal food in this area.

It is not well signposted. The intercom seems to be working intermittently so a I was left standing in the rain for about 40 minutes. There was one socket in my room, which was used for the fan. The fridge was off and was actually emitting heat. The room was very clean and the noise levels were good. Location is great.
We spent only a night there because it was next to Termini station. The place is clean, even if it looks old fashioned. The bathrooms are a bit old, but we expected something more terrible after reading some other reviews. They're like any other old bathrooms in an old house. There was a kitchen but we didn't use it. Staff was polite and helpful and the place is exactly what you pay for: cleap, well...

Average, location is fine but not the best as its not close to a lot, but easy to reach transportation. Breakfast is below average. Cleanliness was good in my room and bathroom. Beds not very comfy. Very hard to find.
Incredible staff! They’re extremely knowledgeable of the city and provide tips when traveling to main attractions. Provided breakfast is nice and atmosphere is relaxing.
The best place to stay...stay here n i assure u will write the same for others...the best team to attend..woth well equipped kitchen rooms , clean n spacious rooms and washrooms too...
Clean and quiet. It's a little out of the way but that's not a problem for me. I'd definitely stay here again.

New Generation Hostel Rome Center exceeded all my expectations with its clean facilities, friendly atmosphere, and central location. Special recognition goes to Andrea, whose exceptional hospitality made my stay truly memorable. I wholeheartedly recommend this hostel for anyone visiting Rome.
The staff was friendly and the location was good, but the air conditioning didn't work.
A great option for female solo travelers, according to my experience the area was safe, near to most attractions and most of the staff were nice, willing to help and friendly. I enjoyed my stay here, would recommend!

It is walking distance to many of the sights of Rome and close to public transport. The neighborhood is charming and safe with plenty of nearby restaurants. I really enjoyed my stay here.
A unique place to stay. Many ages of woman and a kind of meeting place in the courtyard for woman of Rome. Clean. And excellent location to trastevere, st Marc's square, pantheon, the river, bus stops, palazzo navona and compi De fuori.
Very welcoming and in a great location! If you have the time visit the Farenese Villa half a block away. Coffee or tea in the morning and staff is always willing to help and advise.
Very nice experience meeting other female solo travelers. The vibe of the hostel is laid back and relaxing. Was easy to feel comfortable
I made so many friends here and met like minded, solo female travellers. Great kitchen and spots to hang out. There's no lock for your bag though, and only one key per room. You also have to pay in cash when you arrive. It got a bit cold at night because it was winter and there weren't many blankets. We had a great stay at Funny Palace! The staff was very kind and gave us AMAZING recommendations on how to navigate Rome. One of the owners/managers (I’m assuming) used to be a tour guide, and annotated a map showing us the most efficient way to see Rome, and highlighted any key spots we should visit. Very kind and helpful reception. No squeaking Wooden bed. Old windows can not block the noise from outside. Right under the house entrance, some logistic work from early morning. Extra noise from next room. Recommend to have ear plugs if you stay in dormitory. Needs a ventilation fan to prevent fungi on the shower room and cleaning on radiator. Good location close to Termini station.
Basic hostel. In absence of air condition in summer some fan serve the gusts. Its connection to public transport like buses and metro stations are good. Small kitchenete facilitis make big help to gusts. No elevator and many stairs to higher floors make it hard for families with children/elderly companion or heavy luggages. Wifi is ok. Price was acceptable.
The price/quality ratio is very reasonable, definitely a good place to stay for 1/2 nights. Renjh is the best receptionist!:)

It's a cozy and nice hostel with only one room for 4 people. Since there are few guests, the draw was good and I got some good people. I think I'll go there next time I stay in Rome.

I loved the attention so helpful and respectful. Also he kept everything clean.
