Hostels in Rome

Expected it to be pretty janky, but turned out to be nice! Stayed in a six bed room and found the bunks convenient and relatively comfortable. Bathroom was right off the room and had a great shower.

Best hostel I've stayed at. The shower is a real shower, dosnt turn off every couple second like most hostel showers. Amazing beds with clean sheets. Breakfast is small, just one croissant.

The rooms are great. The stairway is very shabby and could do with a lot of work. Staff are very friendly but would be great if they would tell you a bit more information without asking.

Such a clean and friendly place to stay. The staff are great. The whole hostel looks brand new, not sure if they renovated or not, but it looks great and is very clean. They beds are decent and your locker has ample room for your valuables. You can even switch off the lights from your bed! Honestly, I love this place, and it's a decent price too.

The location is very good, a stone's throw from the central station and a short walk from many of the attractions in Rome (although actually finding the hostel is a little tricky as the signs are quite inconsistent. The location is ideal - it is close to the train station (termini) and you can easily start your own waking tour to all sights from there. (But you can imagine that the neighborhood around the train station gets a bit rough at night.) It's a pretty nice place; the furniture seems new - although the cleaning staff could have done a better job. A tiny typical Italian breakfast is included.

Was in a private room, the room itself was nice and clean. Bed was acceptable. They don't provide privacy things for your door so the cleaning people will be in your room during the day (the privacy toggle on the door doesn't seem to do anything). Met so many amazing people that my solo trip seem to have turned into a group trip with different people every day. Prime location, it's just 10 minutes walk from Termini station, it's safe to walk around at night, there's a laundry shop next door. It's only 30 minutes walk to Trevi Fountain if the weather is good. More of hotel than a hostel. So if you are BackPacker who is looking out to gel out with like minded people, its not a place for you. Cleanliness wise its really good. Has a small pub indoor in which the first drink is free. Location wise not so good. Overall average.

Fantastic hostel! Were given a free upgrade from a 4 man to a 2 man room on arrival which was the best thing after a being on a bus tour for 16 days. Staff were all very helpful and happy and often went above and beyond. Really clean and the whole place is decorated well. Very close to the metro station (2 min walk) and about 10 min walk to the train station/bus to the airport. No guest kitchen available...

Generator Rome was nicely decorated, clean, staff was friendly. Spacious rooms, pillow and mattres not great but ok, huge lockers. Location is very good near the subway station and bus station. You get charged to leave your luggage.

It was located in a really good place. The staff were so nice, the service was pleasing. The rooms were really warm despite the cold weather. It has a warm, silent, clean environment. I highly recommend it.

A small yet friendly and warm hostel located very close to the centre of Rome. It's pretty much a 3 bedroom flat converted into a hostel and has 3-4 mixed dorms accomodating 4-6 people in each. I had a lot of fun here. Small, social hostel with breakfast and dinner included. It was easy to meet people to explore the city with. Fabio was very helpful and made every guest feel valued. It is not the most central location but I didn't mind. I could walk to the monuments quickly enough and the metro back if I was tired. I would stay here again if I visit Rome again.

Old and worn, but also clean, and within walking distance to downtown for a very reasenable price. Comfi bed = good sleep. Free WiFi and a decent continental brekfast included. I will book this hotel next time again, for sure.

All of the staff members were very friendly and helpful. The location is easily reachable as it is close to Termini station. We took the Leonardo Express from Fiumicino Airport and walked just 20 minutes from Termini to the hotel. And the hotel is on walking distance of the Manzoni subway station. A great place to stay in Rome for female travellers,. The facilities are very clean and the rooms are comfortable. The staff are great really friendly and helpful. It is walking distance to many of the sights of Rome and close to public transport. The neighborhood is charming and safe with plenty of nearby restaurants. I really enjoyed my stay here.

A unique place to stay. Many ages of woman and a kind of meeting place in the courtyard for woman of Rome. Clean. And excellent location to trastevere, st Marc's square, pantheon, the river, bus stops, palazzo navona and compi De fuori.

Very welcoming and in a great location! If you have the time visit the Farenese Villa half a block away. Coffee or tea in the morning and staff is always willing to help and advise.

I made so many friends here and met like minded, solo female travellers. Great kitchen and spots to hang out. There's no lock for your bag though, and only one key per room. You also have to pay in cash when you arrive. It got a bit cold at night because it was winter and there weren't many blankets. The hostel that has the semblance of an apartment, very cozy. Rooms with a few beds ( more so given that you are sleeping with strangers) very low prices and overall cleanliness excellent. the hostel was not central but you could walk to most of the touristic attractions, good local neighbourhood, the rooms, the bathrooms, the sheets were so clean, staff was nice, ac worked perfectly fine, had a great stay here, despite them giving me the wrong key multiple times but ignore that

I wasn't expecting much from this hostel, but it surprised me! The staff is simply phenomenal, with a positive attitude at all times and a social atmosphere; yes, do not expect minimalistic modern rooms or beds, but they serve their purpose just fine, and the location is unbeatable! There are already dozens of restaurants, bars, and bakeries right outside, and overall you get a good bang for your buck...

Honestly took a bit of convincing for me to leave! I really can't find anything bad to say about this hostel. Such a friendly and fun staff. This hostel creates a wonderful atmosphere for meeting people and making friends with fellow travelers. I highly recommend!

I had a really great time in this Hostel. They have a large common room where is easy to meet people. My room had a good A/C and was pretty big. The room was clean and Staff was very nice and helped me a lot to find some cool places in Rome. Really Appreciated.

It's an hostel, not amazing but economic. The rooms are clean but the bathrooms are very small (and without bidet). The personnel was very kind and helpful.
