The hotel is excellent and our room was very comfortable , clean and traditional. The service of hotel staff was faultless and very impressive from check in to check out. Revisiting was a great idea Tuscany in April and September is two different things but Hotel Palazzo del Capitano was the same. Revisiting this beautiful and cozy hotel was just as nice the second time. The room, the garden, the service, the food - all excellent

Staff was very helpful. The location is very convenient. Lovely garden with small pool. Restaurant is lovely and has very good breakfast. Only complaint is that after booking first night via Booking.com, I booked 2nd night directly with hotel and received higher rate than if I had booked again via booking.com.

The swimming pool area looks out over Tuscan fields and is tranquil and you could quite effortlessly spend a day at the pool reading a book. We had a wine tasting with Giovanna and it was lovely. She prepared local food like ham, salami and cheese and showed us the vineyards as well as the whole production area. The wines all were very good but the best part was how welcoming and friendly Giovanna was. The agriturismo itself was very beautiful as well!

The farmhouse is located near the scenery roads Val D'Orcia. It has very nice unblocked view on their vineyard. The lady owner is very friendly and helpful. Wine tasting on site.

Spectacular place to stay while visiting Val d'Orcia, the location is fantastic, nestled among the most beautiful Tuscan hills with a breathtaking view. Very close to San Quirico and all the destinations in the area. The structure is well maintained, clean with all the essentials to have a good time, Salvatore the curator of the farm is super nice and available for anything. I will definitely be back...

Very nice, characteristic and typical place of the Val d'Orcia. The manager, Mr. Salvatore, very attentive and always available to everyone's needs. To reach the farmhouse you have to take a dirt road between fields and cypresses. The farmhouse is in a wonderful place, the rooms furnished in a rustic Tuscan style. Spacious and clean rooms.

Decent restaurant with amazing terrace view.

The host is friendly, although he doesn’t speak much English. The homemade bakes are delicious and makes us feel very welcomed. They even have free milk and yogurt in the fridge! The view from the house is spectacular too.

This place is really great. Arranged with taste and art attitude the spacious apartment is located right in the midlle of Val D'Orcia's heart - San Quirico D'Orcia. There is free parking just outside of the closest old town gate. If you want to have a base for daily trips to the most visited and photographed sights of Toscany, that's the place.

Very nice host, communication in english is a bit rough but somehow works, delicious free homemade cakes and drinks all the time, old authentic buliding with comfortable rooms. Everything is set up nicely and the breakfast is very personal and amazing. Definitely worth a stay! :)

The place is very nice, the room was quite big. Upon arrival, the owner made us find the bottles of water in the room. There is a well equipped kitchen with tea, coffee and something for breakfast. Then we were given a coupon for breakfast at a nearby bakery. The place is very close to the vegetable gardens and located in a great location. Very calm. We had a great time.

Absolutely beautiful, and the room was spacious. The breakfast was excellent too! Even though it's a 3-minute walk away, the restaurant is fantastic; we had both breakfast and dinner there. The area is quiet with amazing views, and the balcony was great. They even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine!

It provides a very unique medieval experience. The staff is attentive. The family's idea of ​​renovating this village and building hotels is quite interesting, it's well worth seeing, but after a day or two, there's not much to do.

Unfortunately, this accommodation charges 20 euros per night for the dog, which is totally overkill for a small dog. A one-time final cleaning of 20 euros would be completely sufficient. Better a little fewer frills, but reasonable prices for rooms and pets.

We stayed in one of the many satellite structures ... very spacious rooms but absolutely invaded by mosquitoes and no air conditioning. It is advisable to at least put mosquito nets on the windows so as to open the windows in the evening and not to spend the night hunting mosquitoes

Fabulous farmhouse, really beautiful. Located in a beautiful area and framed by the hills with olive trees. I was here 3 days on the occasion of a 3 days of photography only, perfect place to move around and take pictures.

Very quiet place with 4 double bedrooms. On the other hand very isolated and the road of access (5 kms) is not asphalted.

This farmhouse is perfect for its location, not far from any village you want to go to. The cleanliness is impeccable and the house where I was was equipped with everything! The owner is very kind and helpful and his oil (for sale) really great. I will definitely come back!
