We came here after doing some research for places in the vicinity of our B&B. The restaurant itself seemed to be the spot for terrace style dining and we had that to start. However 10 minutes after sitting down on the terrace, a storm unleashed and literally blew the umbrellas down. We had to move to the main dining room and honestly the reason why I couldn't give this place five stars was because...

Here you come for three main reasons: best wine selection of local Valpolicella wines, traditional meals, and the village of San Giorgio and his antique church from romans times.

Very nice place and above all for the knowledge of the lovely Anna who welcomed us with open arms and excellent wine. I highly recommend!

Lucia and her team are awesome to speak with about the history of the villa and their wines. The stay includes a lovely breakfast set in he outdoor space. Really enjoyed it and would definitely return.

If you go to Valpolicella this is definitely the perfect place to sleep! The owner is always available on the phone and ready to meet you !!! Clean and beautiful room !!! Surely if we return to the area I will return to the Valpolicella residence !!!

I simply love this place. It is quiet, cosy, quite small, clean and breakfast was just delicious. Even liquid chocolate for the kids was delicious and served directly by the lovely business owner. The view from the restaurant is breathtaking, full stop. It is minutes from Lazise and Gardaland, so a great base for trips. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love this place. I rarely re-visit places during my travels and vacations, but I have been back here three times. The environment and view is beautiful. Service is friendly. There is a quite large parking but if you arrive during the evening (dinnertime) it can be full of the restaurants guests cars. I would recommend booking a room with balcony so you can enjoy the breathtaking view directly...

I was there only at the restaurant. I ordered a Risotto di Amarone and I didn’t regret my choice. I will revisit the place.

A fantastic find. Great kindness .... even to the test of a (here present) careless customer. Having been an impromptu stay, I had no battery charger and the young manager with great kindness offered me his for the whole day. Small gestures that make a big difference.

We had a great time at Casa di Tom. I advise the America room. Really spacious and cosy. Tom gave precious advices for food and drinks and served us a great breakfast with home made products. An absolute perfect stay. Thank you Tom!

By far the best homemade breakfast I've ever had at a B&B! Not only are the eggs fresh and amazing, along with the bread and juice, the little outside patio that overlooks the Valpolicella Vineyards and Lake Garda is something out of a fairytale postcard. It s a lovely hideaway in the very last soft hills of Valpolicella near Verona. Sitting at the terrace you can see lago del Garda glittering in the sun. What a wonderful place to stay, and for every reason imaginable. Nadia is a fantastic host and did everything possible to make our stay of two nights a delight. Of the four rooms on site we had the upstairs one which has a small terrace with a lovely view of vineyards that extend to the the little town below and was super quiet. There are too many good things to say about the B&B Al Cristo for a review. The owner is fantastic and beyond accommodating. The place is perched on a hill overlooking the vineyards and valley all the way to Lago di Garda. The breakfast each day was amazing. This is in effect what all other B&B's should try and aspire to. Beautiful B&B with a great view of Lake Garda and the local vineyards. The host, Nadia, gave us a warm welcome and lots of good tips. The garden and pool are great to relax, enjoy a glass of wine and the amazing view. I wish we'd stayed longer.

Ileana is a wonderful hostess. The house is tucked away and a little paradise reveals itself after crossing the two arches. The pool is very big and the garden is beautiful. The breakfast was very varied and delicious. Ileana conjured up something different every day, even our kids were happy (I'll just say: lemon cake :D ). There were 2-3 restaurants within 15 minutes walking distance in the evening...

Lovely place, the landlady is exquisite. The rooms are large as well as the bathroom, the bed is very comfortable nothing to say about cleaning. Breakfast is excellent and plentiful.

The bb porta della torre is located in san giorgio in Valpolicella, a few km from verona. Spectacular view of the lake and the snow-capped Alps. We were very impressed with this bed and breakfast. It is located in a beautiful little village and has recently been renovated with great attention to detail. We were warmly welcomed by the host. Everything was very clean and the bed, bathroom and shower were a dream! Andrea gave us detailed tips about the restaurants in the area and called them especially for us. Our stay with Anna and Andrea was just perfect! The B&B is a combination between tradition and comfort, very welcoming and the small village of San Giorgio is very authentic. Many options were offered for breakfast, they organised wine/cheese/affettati tasting locally for a true Valpolicella experience as well as bike rental. We'll definitely come back!

We stayed last weekend and had a great time. A wonderful villa run by two exquisite people, wife and husband, where hospitality, courtesy and cleanliness are the masters. The rooms are very comfortable, quiet and allow you to rest very well. The breakfast is more than abundant and varied, there is the possibility to park the car inside the courtyard.
