We stayed at Villa panzalla for 1 week with our teenage kids and it was lovely, really nice and helpful owner called Stefano. The view from the porch was absolutely breathtaking. The house its located in the hills or mountain so getting down to the town etc is a bit of a drive but well worth it. A jeep is your best bet to drive on the road. WiFi was not available tho which our kids notice lol but...

Long ride up the mountain. Last 1,5km is a dirth road.Driver need to be confident! The old house is basic with older setup. Everything you need is there. 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. The guestpool is situated 30 meters down. The view is extraordinary, the house and accommodation is basic.

Villa Fabbroni is absolutely spectacular! The Vistas along the route to the villas are magnificent with breathtaking views of Chianti Wine Country in Tuscany. The staff is outstanding, the house Chef iis amazing, and the accommodations are cozy and very clean. Trust me, this place is a little slice of heaven and Tuscany’s best kept secret.

Stefano and his place were absolutely fantastic! It was our favorite place to stay on our whole trip! We were a large family of 6 and it was more than large enough to accommodate us all. Be careful of Waze directions : it takes you on a diabolical agricultural path that Waze thinks is a proper road . There are well tarred roads to the property. Breakfast at €7 per head was generous servings of cake, bread, fruits, yoghurt, juices milk. Plenty of tea coffee. Full kitchen fridge . They produce their own wine and olive oil. Traveling with 4 friends, the room was cozy and mattresses are comfortable. Didn’t have time to do much around the beautiful farm, only visited the cellar and tasted wine and olive oil.

Really excellent little hotel, great view and great value! Our house had a washing machine inside which was not advertised. Proprietor was very friendly and nice to us.

1. Amazing ambience, hard to reach without car though. 2. Best to spend some time in their gardens, staying away from pollution, etc. 3. Their breakfast option is not that great. 4. We were given a full house for ourselves 5. They’ve got a/c on both rooms. Kitchen, bathroom fully equipped. 6. Accept cards. 7. Parking not a problem (there’s a wide area in front at their property)

We stayed there for few nights and it was very good, cozy and welcoming. Breakfast is awesome, the owner made a cake for the 3 of us, and let us borrow their bikes too. The location is very good as it is near Florence, but you get a real feeling about the Tuscany countryside. Really recommend it to everyone.

The most beautiful Borgo on a hill with amazing views of the countryside, very close to Grassia town and very quiet. All the buildings are old, made of stone and very charming. We had the best time here. Rooms were amazing, the view is incredible and here you really feel like you’re in the middle of Tuscany. Also it’s super close to Firenze and we had several activity options nearby.

We had a wonderful stay at Borgo Bottaia. Beautiful location, close to Florence, great rooms and excellent service. We look forward to returning next time we're in Tuscany!

Stayed there with a school party from NZ a few years back. Superb location. The rooms were confortable and clean. The views over the surrounding countryside are memorable, especially at dawn and dusk. No on site catering, although Luigi was happy to send someone to the village to bring in food on occasion.
