Hotel Sunnwies in Scena

This hotels offers a complete package : a very comfy room, an amazing breakfast and a 5 star high class dinner. The dedication of the staff with excellent and friendly service makes this hotel deserve its 4 stars. The beautiful infinity pool is a construction masterpiece. The underground garage with closeby elevators is very handy. The atmosphere is warm and the hotel is not too big.

A wonderful, family-run hotel for relaxation and enjoyment, with breathtaking views over Schenna and the Merano Valley. We stayed there with our family between Christmas and New Year's and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The food, with its buffets and set menus, was excellent, and we would especially like to thank Silvia for her outstanding service. The hotel also boasts a lovely wellness area with indoor and outdoor pools. The latter is even open in winter and offers stunning views while swimming.

A structure that lives up to the most demanding expectations. We must thank the great "Sunnwies" family for their great hospitality and willingness to offer advice for a great mountain experience. The place is very comfortable, full of amenities such as the heated outdoor pool, but I would add, last but not least, a culinary ability on par with great gourmet restaurants! Fortunately, sometimes you choose well!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The owners and the team are truly passionate about what they do. The location in Schenna is really good. The road noise didn't bother us at all. There's a great outdoor pool.

However, it didn't quite reach a perfect score. This is due to the following reasons. We had a room for three people, but there were only two bathrobes in the room. The third bathrobe costs €2.50. This is incomprehensible. It's not about the money, but the fact that three people need three bathrobes. After all, there were three beds and meals for three people.

The indoor pool is a bit dated. What was very annoying, though, was that the mosaic tiles in the whirlpool were coming loose. Guests had been placing the tiles next to the whirlpool. This has created very sharp edges on the seating area. This needs to be addressed.

The sauna area was also rather uninviting. The fountain wasn't working, and overall it was quite dark.

Since it was evident in many areas of the hotel that the family is constantly investing, these issues will surely be resolved soon. Thank you for the wonderful time!

A well-kept house. We really like the newly renovated rooms, the pleasant ambience, the family atmosphere, the personal care and the proximity to the public. Transportation and the very good food. All-round perfect for beautiful and relaxing vacation days

Sono stato con la mia famiglia per un weekend lungo, non è la prima volta che ci andiamo e ogni anno siamo contenti. Camere spaziose, località fantastica e clima natalizio tipico della città. Servizio ottimo
