For the price, this hotel is excellent. It was clean, the bed was great, the staff cannot do enough for you. I loved my stay here and am booking another one next year. You cannot beat the location. It isn't five star, and they don't pretend to be. There is character aplenty here, despite some needed renovations. Ordinary breakfast, but so close to all the gelato in brioche you could ever wish for...

Great staff, clean, everything is a walking distance!

My friend and I stayed while in Scoglitti for a wedding. Our rooms met all of our needs and we enjoyed the view of the Mediterranean from our balcony. The breakfast daily was very nice as was the attendant. All of the desk staff were very accommodating. A nice stay!

I have stayed here many times, recently they’ve done a little refurbishment to the bathrooms, great news. I love this little hotel located on the beach in Scoglitti. Perfect location, right on the beach. Clean room & comfy bed. Reception is super friendly ❤️ Their are different sized rooms so specify if you have a lot of luggage. My room was perfect for one and I love the extra large shower.

Excellent experience, we stayed at the hotel for 3 days and three nights in a double room, in addition to the meticulous cleanliness and courtesy of the staff, the hotel is very in style with the city and the staff are super welcoming and available for every type of need or information on places to visit in the surrounding area. Located close to the center of the small city. Silent.

We stayed in the hotel annex because it was newer than the main building. Our room was on the second floor, which was inconvenient because there's no elevator, although the owner helped us with a large bag. The room was basic but reasonably clean, the bathroom small, and the downside was the shower curtain. It's a convenient location for visiting Vittoria.

Great experience for me and my friends. Corrado really helped us with the Wines to the dinner and very Good presentation of the food wich was amazing. If you want a great experience in an amazing atmosphere you should visit this restaurant, next time ill be in Sicily I sure will visit Corrado again.

Staff friendly and helpful,we wonted to see Maulana ancient site which was closed but they rang someone who said they would call and take us to site and one of the owner's of hotel Emelio came also as his English was better than guide,could not be more helpful. My only criticism on hotel would be it said it had a working restaurant which was not the case .maybe to late in season!!!

In front of the beach. Rooms with terrace facing the sea have a very nice view. Relaxing place. Possibility to take breakfast in to the room terrace. A walk away from Punta Secca, by car too Ragusa and Modica, are not far.

If you want to go for a holiday but still wish to feel at home, Mar & Sol is the place for you! Right on the beach, spotless clean, very friendly staff - wonderful experience!

Me and my partner stayed here for a week in August 2024. We thought the staff were very nice and the rooms were clean, well maintained and modern. We had a tv, mini fridge, air con and a great shower but no kettle which would have been a big bonus. Breakfast was okay; there were really nice pastries and juice. Excellent hotel in a modern style, inserted in a rather shabby urban conesto. Very clean room, well-stocked minibar, customizable air conditioning, abundant breakfast, very kind and very professional staff. The only drawback is the bathroom light which, at night, takes a long time to go out. "nice" the shower area with transparent glass towards the bedroom!

Nice, modern and spacious rooms. Too bad for the faulty air conditioning which in Comiso is essential and very poor breakfast. Despite the inconveniences, we were charged a higher price than the booking reservation and added tourist taxes that booking excluded.

Wonderful place, amazing staff. We stayed here with our two young kids and it was a great experience. We stayed in multiple units, each one of them well equipped and with a view. Raffaela and I spoke even before our visit and she made sure our son and we were comfortable with the sleeping situation when he slept downstairs in varacuzze for a few days. This was our second visit to La Scibina. It is a little slice of heaven. The staff makes you feel very welcome. Breakfast changes daily and is a minefield of cakes and traditional Sicilian dishes. The gardens with pool and lounge area makes you want to stay and never leave. In the end we did leave, but we will surely come back some day.

A wonderful place, near the center but surrounded by nature, a great pool, really nice style of the rooms and in the garden you can collect spices, herbs and fruit from the trees, exciting! The breakfast (not recommended for those on a diet :-) buffet is served in the old vault. Run by young boys like being in a big family!

Out of season stay for work in October , staff very friendly and helpful and rooms clean. No tea or coffee facilities in room . Disappointed pool was closed as that was the reason for booking. Breakfast minimal and noisey and dinner was cold. Probably great in the summer but would get an appartment next time

Ideal structure for families where there is only one pedestrian crossing that leads comfortably to the private beach. It is well-kept and has only a few rows so you can enjoy the nearby sea. Excellent location 20 meters from the private beach and close to the center of Ragusa marina. Comfortable swimming pool and good restaurant service too. The only note is that there is no beach bar and the opening times of the beach 9.00 and the swimming pool 10.00 seem too late to me

Excellent location if you want to visit the Ragusa area. 10 minutes by car to get to the sea. Clean room and comfy bed! Abundant breakfast, also gluten-free (on request). The owner is very nice and helpful.

What can I say ... it seemed like a lost place .... instead .... a quiet oasis, surrounded by greenery, parking space, well cared for and well maintained. It's an amazing hotel, 15-20mins away from Marina di Ragusa. The Hotel is very clean and quiet it's good if you need a relaxing holiday.

Fantastic experience, the host Enzo is a kind and helpful person, the b&b is very clean and comfortable, at first impression it may seem isolated in the open countryside but in fact it is in a perfect logistical position to reach Ragusa Ibla on one side, Marina di Ragusa on the other, without wasting time in traffic. I absolutely recommend going if you have to stay in the area!!

We have there out of season so hotel was really quiet and parking lot in front of hotel was big enough. Not sure if it is big enough during summer Comfy and big room with balcony and sea view. Comfy bed and lining. Good location. Good swear breakfast

This was a small traditional hotel slightly on the outskirts of Gela but set just back from the coast. Facilities of the town were easily reachable on foot. On-site free parking. Nice, good-sized bedroom with well-appointed bathroom which looked as if it had been recently upgraded. Another good quality buffet breakfast.

Welcoming and friendly staff, I was able to check in before the room was ready and leave my luggage in the lobby. When I came back from a walk, my luggage was in my room :) The room itself, spacious comfortable and clean as well as the bathroom. There was even a balcony overlooking a quiet street. For breakfast, the choice is quite complete and it is served at the table and quickly once installed.

I always wanted to visit Sicily and it couldn't be any better. This hotel was as much lovely as Ragusa itself. The employees as a non Italian speaker were very helpful and understandable. My expectations have been well satysfied. Good job everyone!

A ‘modern. City hotel masquerading as 4-star, while really about 3 (if I was generous) Only 1 lift. So access can be problematic at times. The room we were in was huge. However, it was poorly equipped and maintained. The shower would have been lovely if only the shower head had been cleaned sometime in the last year, and the nasty laminate flooring was uneven and cracked in places, causing a trip hazard...

Nice environment and spacious room. However, customers should be given detailed information about the city tax and mini bar. In some other places the mini fridge is stocked for customers convenience. We stayed here 2 nights while traveling with a tour group. It is a lovely hotel and we had a very large room - although others did not. The bathtub is very high and hard to get in and out of for short people like myself and there are no hand rails. It is close to the local bars and restaurants and in a very nice area. First thing to realize 4 stars in Sicily is different than 4 stars in the US. With that We were in a superior accomodation. The room was HUGE, Clean and bed was very conmfortable. Great building great staff no expense spared a must stay if in Ragusa or around. Down side shower door in Pesca needs attention and a door person should be in attendance in a 5star hotel. Having said that price is of a 4star so I should not complain. Well done team 1619.

I stayed at Villa del Lauro for 3 nights in Aug, 2014. I was on my own but had such a wonderful experience there if felt like I had friends with me. The hotel was wonderful, breakfast on the terrace was a delight I relished each morning. The staff could not have been nicer & more helpful.
