Horrible Management, Charges for confirmed services and greed runined a great vacation as there Charges for services unrequested that put the price of the room up by 50%.
We requested extra beds and asked how much - which were €37 a night. We never confirmed this service - especially as we had booked 3 persons in one room and 2 in another.
On our arrival and checkin we were not informed of the extra charge (as we already paid for our room on booking.com). On check out i paid all extras, then hung out by the pool till it was time for us to go.
They then told us we need to pay another €222 per room for the extra beds or they will call the police. I said this was ridiculous as we never confirmed extra beds.
It got into a very heated argument and my pregnant wife who spoke italian (when i don't) was telling them how come no one even bothered to tell us. The management of the hotel refused to speak english, would not admit that we never confirmed any extra beds.
They threatened to call the police which i told them fine. But our friends didn't want to because we would be late for our boat back to malta.
After a long fight they said pay €75 per room extra (which we should not have paid), but it was daylight robbery.

We booked this lovely small hotel in Chairamonte Gulfi back in January. A modern small place with a pool in the middle, perfect for families or groups of friends. We were 20 with kids so half of the rooms were ours. Breakfast exceeded our expectations! Divine! (Especially the croissants and lemon tart). Giovanni the owner was of great help. We wanted to try Sicilian cuisine and he suggested to visit Tenuta Rizzarello, an agriturismo. We fed the cows and tasted the genuine food of the locals. I highly recommend to include this in the itinerary. giovanni also explained how to get to the Tenuta in shorter time. The staff of the hotel was very friendly, helpful and quick. The rooms were cleaned everyday. In the vicinity there is Il Teagamino a genuine restaurant which offers mouthwatering pizza! Also, Marina di Ragusa is only 35 mins away. Thank you Southeast hotel for making our stay an enjoyable one :)

Brilliantly located Hotel for a peaceful short holiday. The staff are really helpful and very educated. The rooms are very clean and for your safety a large secured parking facility. We hope that our next visit the restaurant will be ready

I recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a well positioned base in the chiaramonte gulfi area. We stayed at southeast hotel after our rental car broke down. We called the very kind receptionist to ask her to wait for us as the reception was soon closing. The lady kindly and patiently waited for us to arrive with the tow truck even though her shift was over! She also kindly booked us a taxi for the next morning to the airport as we had missed our flight. It was a relief to find someone so kind and helpful, and a lovely, clean and welcoming room to spend the night. The hotel itself is very modern and has a lovely pool! Would love to visit again in the summer.

The hotel is beautiful, modern finishes and very clean. However certain rooms are situated right next to the reception/bar/breakfast, making it quite noisy, even with doors closed you can hear receptionists talking, people chattering and other noises from the bar.
There are a number of ‘extra costs’, like having to pay (fee, not deposit) for pool towels, for use of jacuzzi in pool area, and for having extra towels for bathroom use before room is cleaned.
Only one girl from reception knows how to communicate well in English, others can barely understand it.

Just came back from this amazing holiday. A beautiful hotel, modern, clean, extremely very well maintained, quiet and peaceful. Beautiful pool and terraces. Good breakfast and very friendly staff. I highly recommend it 👍
