B&B Hotel Milano Sesto Marelli

I don't know where to start describing this hotel. It was definitely a big disappointment. The hotel rooms are so old that I don't understand how they still provide service with these rooms. The first night at the hotel was a nightmare. Water was flowing out of the shower cabin and we soaked up this water with towels. That's not all, the hair dryer in the room did not work. We couldn't sleep all night due to street and wind noise. because sound and air entered through the windows in the room. That's why the room didn't heat up all night. The next morning we requested to move to another room. This request was met positively. Our new room was relatively better. Hotel rooms, especially bathrooms, definitely need to be renewed and maintained. Other than that, the location of the hotel is good. Very close to public transportation.

I honestly don’t understand the good reviews. While we managed to sleep fine, everything else was disappointing. The room lacked basic amenities like a kettle, refrigerator, cups, or slippers. The shower had very weak water pressure, and they only provided a generic “hair and body soap.” Worse, the air conditioning was so dirty that dust fell from it. I’ve never had such a bad experience at a chain hotel before. On a positive note, the receptionists were friendly.

The most basic, run down room.
There was no fridge and no facilities to make a hot drink in the room. There was only one plug which is not ideal for a 2 person room especially when the one plug is dodgy.
The bathroom was dirty, the plug didn’t work so our sink didn’t drain and was always full of water. The shower made the most horrific noise when it was running which I’m sure the whole hotel could hear!!

It was a 5 min walk to the nearest metro station which was handy but there is nowhere in the area to get food or drinks from. The area of the hotel is very rough and dirty. It’s a 20 minute metro ride into the centre of Milan which is also not ideal.

Not good place to sleep.
I can say only their breakfast was good.
AC was giving cold air in April, and room was smelling so bad. Also coverage on pillow and bad was smelling so bad like plastic/chemical, most probably they are keept in a room with no air or they never washed them. Towel had big black stain.
In addition to this they have big hole on the wall behind of Tv which brings sun to the room in 6 am. They have only 1 electricity plug for a double room and no slippers.
