Palazzo Ravizza

One of the best hotel experiences in my life. Don’t be fooled by pictures, it is WAY BETTER. It does have all the vintage decorations and style, but everything is exceptionally clean and has contemporary bathrooms. I was a little worried it would have smells and dust like other castle like hotels I have visited, but I was wrong.

This place is created and managed with great care and attention. All the team are super nice and professional with great sense of humor.

Their views from the rooms and garden deserve a separate essay. So epic!

We were roadtripping through Italy without precise plan and ended up in this hotel by chance, but I fell in love with it and my bf extended the stay for another day to treat me (and I would’ve stayed longer if my partner wouldn’t have plans to move further south 😂)

The city is super pretty and walkable, hotel front desk ladies suggested us some great restaurants and helped with reservations.

Everything beyond! I am hoping to come back again!

Beautiful hotel! The views from our room and from our garden terrace were incredible. We spent the mornings with breakfast on the terrace and brought our own wine for sunsets to enjoy. They also have a bar open during the evenings so that you can enjoy cocktails from the terrace as well. The staff are very friendly and helped us with calling taxis. The rooms are very spacious and simple but charming. The hotel is gorgeous with art and libraries.

Love this hotel. Staff could not have taken better care of us when we arrived. We booked the deluxe double room, and it was majestic. The view was incredible.
Went to 5 cities in Italy this trip and this hotel by far had the best cappuccino. Definitely recommend!

Wow- we loved this hotel! We had a mix up during travel that led us to an unexpected night in Sienna at Hotel Palazzo Ravizza and to say it exceeded expectations is putting it lightly! We were welcomed by Cecila who could not have been more helpful. She was kind enough to offer us an upgraded room and made a reservation at a local spot. She even got us the best table outside! After an extremely long and stressful day, our night at Hotel Palazzo Ravizza completely made up for it.
The hotel is beautiful, clean and well maintained. There is a spacious elevator and our room had air conditioning. The breakfast included was delicious and the views from the back garden are breathtaking. Parking on site was extremely helpful as well.
Despite the fact that visiting Sienna was an unplanned part of our trip, we cannot wait to go back and stay at the Palazzo Ravizza again. Thank you Cecila and the rest of the staff for making this night unforgettable!

This place is wonderful! My room was beautiful and the bathroom sparkled. The breakfast was delicious and the outside landscaping made me feel like I was in a romance movie! The staff was incredibly helpful, professional, and knowledgeable! Made our time in Siena so memorable.

Stayed for 2 nights in early July of 2021. We stayed in the room with a balcony - but what we hadn't bargained for was the exceptional nature of the room itself. It was tremendously grand in a manner appropriate to the age of the building, with a incredibly high decorated ceiling and a huge entrance door - real wow factor.

I would almost say the balcony itself in the room wasn't worth it as the view from the hotel garden is just as good, if not better depending on the season, as the leaves in the tree may block your view from the balcony. It's the room itself that makes it special.

Even though the balcony room was in the period style, all the expected mod cons were present (aircon, fully equipped en-suite bathroom, TV etc).

Service from the hotel representatives was excellent, although breakfast proved a bit challenging one morning as it was being run by a single staff member - this was forgivable during current issues relating to Covid where everything must be table service - they would normally run a buffet. The public areas of the hotel are well furnished, with an interesting library of books available should they be of interest.

Hotel location within Siena was perfect for our needs. Everything in the centre is within an easy walk, and yet the hotel is far enough from the hotspots so that you don't step out of the front door straight into a tourist melee.

We very much enjoyed our stay and we'll be back if we pass through Siena again.

Not much to look at from the road but very nice inside. High ceilings, beautiful floors, and a great terrace overlooking the Tuscan countryside. Free parking!

Absolutely beautiful hotel and gardens with fabulous views of the countryside. Centrally located and still owned by descendants of the Ravizza. Staff could not be friendlier or more helpful and their dining recommendations were spot-on.

The location is top-notch: just outside of the hustle and bustle of the city but still accessibly close. The rooms are incredible - old and charming and wonderfully dated but well kept. And the staff have been beyond helpful, with everything from directions to dining and activities. Great place to stay in historic Siena!
