Venue, locale and setting is amazing, perfect fit a family visiting Spello. Everything great and parking facility is free and convenient thanks to the hotel free pass. Breakfast was really good. The hotel is a medieval palace, dog and family friendly. The lady at the reception was most welcoming and willingly to give us hints about Spello. In short, a wonderful stay-- would return any time!

The breakfast is very good. In addition to the standard Italian breakfast, there were: cold cuts, cheeses, yoghurts, fruits. Location? There is simply nothing like it in the city anymore, it is the only one. I will add more. There are many active churches in the city. their bells are ringing. but in this hotel I slept very well. and the lift was good.

A very quanint Hotel, in the center of Spello town, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and confortable.

I stayed with my husband for two nights from 2nd to 4th September 2022. Staff welcoming, very kind, helpful, even to give us directions on what to visit !!! Comfortable room, spotless, with beautiful views !!! All the staff, at the top !! Rich and good breakfast! it is highly recommended!

Very nice hotel in the center of Spello. We went there with our 2 girls and we had a very comfortable communicating double room. Very kind and friendly staff. 5-star breakfast with various homemade cakes by the owner. We will be back for sure!

Nice hotel, clean rooms and very friendly service. Beautiful view from the rooms and terrace. Well located in the old city. Walking distance from all restaurants and sites. Okay breakfast (to much sweet for my taste, even the fruit was sweetened with sugar).

New and very pretty room. We were on the second floor and we in the restaurant below didn't hear anything .. Excellent breakfast and decent lunch. The girl who welcomed us is very kind and has the enthusiasm of those who believe in her activity. Parking is very close and free. Spello delicious.

Very nice B&B with newly renovated rooms, and soon it will be the turn of the bathrooms. Free parking about 100 meters from the B&B, and just outside the walls. Excellent and varied and complete breakfast. Nice friendly staff always available! There is also a restaurant but we arrived on Monday closing day and we couldn't try it. In any case, excellent structure and highly recommended.

Convenient location. We walked to Assisi so hosts let us store our bags and pick them up another day. So appreciated your kindness. Also the hosts artwork is gorgeous.

The owners were a lovely old couple. Very friendly and helpful and could only speak Italian. They enjoyed the challenge of communicating with us. The room was basic but excellent value for money. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and the position of the studio was excellent quite close to free parking.

Great location and facilities on site. You definitely need a car as it is outside the town. The gentleman who owns this facility could not have been kinder. We arrived late, as we got lost, he waited for us and then rang restaurants and made a reservation for us. Not only that, he then drove in front of us on his motorbike to show us the way! Great small residence to stop in Umbria. It really offered everything . It’s not luxury or I would have given 5 star but it more than meets a nice stay let alone a very good price. Lovely quiet area near farm land but you can look up and see Spello town. It’s probably 8 minutes drive from the town. Owner was great. Everything was supplied and there was access to a washing machine and iron/ ironing...

The residence is located in the upper part of Spello, passing outside the village you get to two public car parks from which you can reach the residence in a few minutes on foot. The apartment is located in a classic stone building, characteristic of Spello. Composed of a very large and comfortable double bedroom, a smaller room with a single bed, a fairly large and equipped kitchen and a nice bathroom...

The location is perfect—a very short and agreeable walk to beautiful Spello and in the heart of Umbria, so well-located for visiting all of its many small and picturesque towns. Fabrizio is a wonderful, gracious, and very kind host, and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

A pause, suspended in time. Crossing the gate of the Villa, you are surrounded by a suggestive atmosphere, silence and stillness, far from modernity and surrounded by greenery. Welcomed, with precision and kindness, and some small "attention" always paid with grace and confidentiality, by Mr. Fabrizio who, together with the location, deserves full marks. We will certainly return.

We had a marvellous experience at Il Bastione. The scenery is picturesque, the house is old and beautiful, and the rooms are very comfortable. We had fantastic dinner in the neatly decorated dining hall - no need to go elsewhere for food. The owners are a very friendly family who put in a lot of effort and passion into this agriturismo. Beautiful location, run by a charming father and son pair. I wish we could have stayed for longer. They put so much effort into a very reasonably priced dinner every single night with a copious set menu that will make you need to walk up and down nearby Spello to feel good the next day.
