Warm, clean and welcoming, Gianluca very friendly and helpful but the structure is dated and the bathrooms need to be renovated. The kitchen without basic necessities (not even a tea/coffee bag), the bathroom with just 2 bars of soap and two shower shampoo sachets).

We spent a very pleasant week: the place is really fantastic, the fireplace in the room is fabulous, the very good breakfast then consumed in the garden is even better, the mid-August lunch at Redibis (fish I, my partner traditional) very good and abundant. Big, comfortable, old-world rooms and a phenomenal restaurant. Only complaint is that the hotel desk said they have an arrangement with the local police to allow cars into the old city to load or unload luggage. A wonderful holiday resort. The rooms are very tastefully decorated. Each room has its own terrace. In addition, there is a large sun terrace on the hillside surrounded by olive trees and a magnificent view of the Umbrian valley. In the morning you will be spoiled with a delicious breakfast. This is a beautiful property in a quiet location with an amazing view of the gorgeous surrounding countryside. It is spacious, traditional, comfortable and has a lovely swimming pool. Mary and Michael were both extremely polite and helpful. The breakfast on the veranda was delicious. Thank you for making our stay in Bevagna so memorable.

It's honestly hard to believe how beautiful the view is from this country inn. The service is also fantastic, and there are so many incredible afternoon or day trips in easy reach in Umbria, Le Marche, and Tuscany. Not to mention too many excellent wineries to list. Will definitely return.

We spent 4 nights at Genius Loci this past week. It is a wonderful inn for relaxing and enjoying Umbria! Michael is a great host! He knows very much about the area and willingly shares his knowledge to help make your stay a more meaningful one! We arrived in the afternoon, it was cold and a nice north wind was blowing. we had booked the week before, they let us find the warm rooms .. unfortunately we only stayed one night x early in the morning we had to leave .... more I don't know .....
