Beautiful grounds, location is great, service was wonderful! The spa is GREAT! But you need to renovate your rooms . They are very old , heavy dated curtains, old and worn furniture. The air conditioning vent in my room (550) was black . At night you hear a lot of banging above the room .

Great location, great service (without being overbearing), nice SPA and outside pool.
We stayed in one of the diminutive "attic rooms", and while nothing really special or "bohemian" about them, they are still bigger than standard rooms in most other hotels while being incredible value for money !

Apparently nice looking but incredibly poor in services. I had my car scratched on purpose while parked in their structure during my stay with two clear lines on the driver door done manually. No cooperation whatsoever from personnel. Better to leave cars at home and use horses in line with their mediaeval approach. A five stars look and a zero star service.

I stayed for two nights, amazing location and view. Unfortunately, Service was not to that standard. For example I requested for an iron which was not available in the room they told me it’s not allowed for safety reason, I believe it was a very funny answer. Most of the hotels around the world are providing irons in their rooms, so I had to give my one shirt and 2 t-shirts for ironing which they charged me for it.
Rooms are very classy and very old as you living in 70’s, room key is still manual with big heavy keychain, and I was facing issues opening my room door since the lock was not operating well.
In my room breakfast was included, but the breakfast provided was below standard of five star hotels and no Halal food.

Very great if your into historical locations, the new spa was beautiful.

The rooms leave little to be desired, black mold on the shower head is just unacceptable especially if you consider the premium price.

I'll stay somewhere else next time.

Nice grand old hotel. Service details could use some attention. Shirt pressing requested for a wedding at 1pm wasn't done till 2:30. Accidentally left one of the hotel's disposable umbrellas at a museum and concierge made a big stink over it. Not allowed to use the pool on the day of checkout if you have a late afternoon flight.

I thought that the extra money we paid for our stay here would mean the staff would go the extra mile for us but we were wrong, the location is absolutely amazing our dinner was delicious although extremely expensive and our waiter was really friendly but the front office staff didn't communicate with us about the event they had going on during our stay and how it would effect our visit which proved very embarrassing when we were questioned by the police before we could get back into our room because of no communication from the hotel. I also used the spa service to get my nails done and it was the most expensive set of the worst nails I have ever experienced. For the amount of money we paid it was NOT WORTH IT!!!

Very sneaky child policy - even through you book an extra child on their website they will add a surcharge of 50eur per child. They policy is apparently somewhere hidden in the fine print. Very sneaky and the feeling remains that you pay twice for kids.
